That evening....

After returning to the Mikaelson Compound, and after Alexa sacrificed herself to save her Mikaelson family, Klaus is cradling Alexa in his arms, laying on their bed.

Klaus examines Alexa's bruised face, the puncture bite wounds on both sides of her neck, and her arms.

Gently laying Alexa's bruised and wounded body on their bed, Klaus kisses Alexa's forehead. And walks away.

In the study, Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah and Freya exchange worried expressions at each other.

"Alexa sacrificed herself." says Rebekah.

"Indeed she did." Elijah says. "She gave herself to our enemies."

"Speaking of enemies, we eliminate the rest of them." Klaus says, bitterly. "Tristian and the Strix will suffer."

Elijah, Rebekah and Freya looks at Klaus.

"I'll stay with Alexa." Freya says.

In Klaus's and Alexa's bedroom, Alexa's bruised and wounded body slowly heals itself. And the puncture bite wounds heals.

Alexa gasps awake and sits up straight.

"Alexa?" Freya says.

Alexa looks at Freya. "Freya?"

Freya walks to Alexa and gently hugs her. Alexa gently hugs Freya. Alexa and Freya exchange soft expressions at each other.

Freya looks at Alexa's arms, which were bruised and bite marks. And now, her arms are healed.

"Alexa, you're completely healed." Freya says.

"Yeah. Where's Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah?" asked Alexa.

"The Strix." Freya says. "But first, you need to clean up a little."

Alexa's Outfit

After her bath, Alexa looks at herself in the mirror, and glances at the both sides of her neck, which are healed. She glances at her arms, the bite wounds are healed as well.

Alexa gently sits on the ottoman as she brushes her damped hair with her hairbrush.

"Alexa?" Klaus says, walks inside their bedroom and becomes astonished to see Alexa.

Alexa looks at him. "Hey, Klaus."

"Hey, Klaus." Alexa says, getting up to her feet.

Klaus and Alexa exchange awkward expressions at each other. He slowly walks up to her and gently caress her cheek with his hands.

"You've completely healed." Klaus says.

"Yeah. But I feel stronger somehow." Alexa says.

"What do you mean, Love?" Klaus asks, a bit confused.

"The Strix vampires bit me, the bite wounds have healed." Alexa says.

Klaus looks at Alexa with a straight face. "Alexa? The Strix vampires tried to kill you, Elijah and I found you, wounded and you had bite marks on your body. And you say feel stronger. I thought you were dead, Alexa."

Alexa looks at Klaus as he walks away. "Klaus? Klaus?"

In Mallory's nursery, Alexa and Skylar are playing with toddler Mallory.

"Klaus is mad at me." Alexa says.

"Klaus isn't mad at you, Alexa. He's worried. Klaus thought you were dead, and it hurt him. But Klaus isn't mad at you." Skylar says.

Alexa and Skylar exchange soft expressions at each other.

After putting Mallory to sleep, Alexa slowly walks inside the study, and sees Klaus sitting on the sofa, drinking bourbon.

"Klaus?" Alexa says, glumly. "I'm sorry."

Klaus looks at her. "What for?"

"For not telling you about my little scheme. But I sort of known you wouldn't want me to do it. So, I told Elijah." Alexa says.

Klaus gets up and walks up to Alexa.
"I'm not mad. Well, maybe, a little. But please, don't worry me about your sacrificial schemes."

"Okay." Alexa says.

Klaus and Alexa exchange soft expressions at each other. They hug each other.

Gently pulling away from the hug, Alexa gently cups Klaus's face with her hands and they kiss. She gently soothes his dark blonde hair with her fingers. Klaus gently wraps his arms around her waist.

THE BAYOU

Alexa and Skylar are sitting atop of a picnic table with their soda pops.

"How's my little cutie niece, Mallory?" Skylar asks.

"She's fine. Smart, adorable, and brilliant." Alexa says with a gentle smile.

"Like her mommy." Skylar says, looking at Alexa with a smile.

"Yeah." Alexa says. "But she does have a little bit of Klaus in her."

"Yeah." Skylar says.

"Well, I'll see you around, Skylar." Alexa says.

"You too." Skylar says.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

In the study, Alexa is sitting on the sofa, drinking wine. Klaus walks inside and sits down on the sofa beside her.

"Mallory is asleep. So, you and I can relax ourselves." Klaus says, and gently takes a beignet and takes a bite out of it.

"Okay." Alexa says.

"What's with you?" Klaus asks.

"Nothing much. Chatting with Skylar about Mallory." Alexa says.

"What about Mallory?" Klaus says, a bit confused.

"Skylar and I talked about Mallory. Skylar says that Mallory has a little bit of you in her." Alexa says.

Klaus snickers. "Maybe, Mallory does have a little bit of me in her. But she also has you."

"Yeah." Alexa says.

Klaus looks at Alexa and playfully chuckles. Alexa looks at him, a bit annoyed.

"Klaus?" Alexa says.

"Okay." Klaus says, and stops chuckling. "With the Strix gone, you and I can focus on Mallory."

"What do you mean the Strix are gone, Klaus?" Alexa asks, bewildered.

"Elijah and I took care of The Strix, Rebekah helped as well. But right now, I wanna be here with you and our daughter, Mallory." Klaus says.

"You are an amazing father, Klaus. Amazingly than Mikael." Alexa says with a gentle smile.

Klaus smiles softly at Alexa. She smiles softly at him.
