After Klaus's and Alexa's intense fight, and breakup, Klaus is sitting behind the desk in the study. He's never felt heartbroken. He checks his phone. No text messages or phone calls from Alexa.

Klaus gets up and walks out of the study, and slowly walks inside to see Alexa's dress divider gone, and the dresser opened. Alexa's clothes are gone as well.

Klaus sits down on the bed and glances at the picture frame of him and Alexa's wedding picture.

Feeling vulnerable and angry, Klaus walks out of his and Alexa's bedroom.

Out and about in the French Quarter, Aurora de Martel is wandering around. Suddenly, Klaus vamp-speeds her into a dark alley. The two exes exchange intense expressions at each other.

"How did it go with Alexa, my Love?" says Aurora with a sly mischievous smirk.

"You're pathetic." says Klaus, bitterly.

"Pathetic, am I? Or are you a bit saddened about your precious Alexa?" Aurora says.

"You and I may have slept together, Aurora, but you are nothing to me." Klaus says.

"But I love you." Aurora says. "And I know you love me."

Klaus and Skylar exchange intense expressions at each other.

"Skylar?" Klaus asks.

"Don't." Skylar says, giving him a straight face. "You are a fucking asshole." and walks away from him.

Out and about in the French Quarter, Alexa is atop of building's rooftop.

"Alexa?" Klaus says.

Alexa looks at him, glumly. "Go home, Niklaus."

"Alexa, I know I hurt you. And I betrayed our marriage." Klaus says, and sighs to himself. "I'm not asking you to forgive me, I just needed you to know that I'm sorry."

Alexa slowly spreads out her arms. Klaus looks at her, confused.

"Alexa? What the hell are you doing?" asked Klaus. "I'm not kidding, get down from there."

With her arms spread out, Alexa turns around and looks at Klaus, and gently falls backwards off the rooftop. Klaus vamp-speeds after her, and catches her in his arms, bridal style. Klaus and Alexa exchange soft expressions at each other as he puts her down.

"Thanks." Alexa says, and walks away from him.

"Alexa?" Klaus says, and vamp-speeds in front of her. "Why did you do that?"

"Maybe, I wanted to do something rebellious." Alexa says. "I am a rebellious girl."

"I get it. You're pissed off at me." Klaus says.

"Go back to Aurora." Alexa says to him, and walks away from him.

"I don't want Aurora." Klaus says. "I want you, Alexa. So, go ahead, be pissed off at me. I would rather for you to be angry at me than to lose you."

Klaus and Alexa exchange intense expressions at each other.

ROUSSEAU'S

The next morning. Klaus is sitting at a table with a bottle of bourbon and a half empty glass of bourbon with a glum expression.

Skylar slowly walks to him and sits down at the table with him. "Klaus?"

"Go head, Skylar, tell me off." Klaus says. "I've already lost Alexa."

"You haven't lost Alexa. She's hurt because you betrayed her by sleeping with your ex-girlfriend, Aurora."
Skylar says. "Give Alexa a little space to calm down."

"Okay." Klaus says.

Skylar gets up and walks away from him. Klaus drinks the rest of his bourbon and gets up, walking out of Rousseau's.

Alexa's Outfit

That afternoon, Alexa slowly walks inside Klaus's and hers bedroom to see Klaus sitting on the bed, drinking bourbon.

"Drinking bourbon." Alexa says.

Klaus looks up at her, glumly. "I am so sorry for betraying you, Alexa."

Alexa sits down beside him and gently takes the bottle of bourbon from him and sets it down on the nightstand.

Alexa kisses Klaus and looks at him with a soft expression. "I forgive you, Niklaus."

Klaus smiles, softly, at Alexa. "I won't ever hurt you."

Alexa gently cups his face with her hands. And they kiss. And gently pulls away from the affectionate kiss.

THE BAYOU

That evening, a party is on. Klaus and Alexa are sitting atop of a picnic table with toddler Mallory.

"You two lovebirds have reconciled." Skylar says.

"Yes, Alexa and I have." Klaus says.

"Auntie Skylar." Toddler Mallory says.

"Hey, Mallory." Skylar says, and gently picks up Mallory in her arms. "I'll see you lovebirds later."

Skylar walks away with toddler Mallory. Klaus and Alexa exchange soft expressions at each other.

Alexa gently leaps off the picnic table and offers Klaus her hand. "May I have a dance, Klaus?"

"Of course." Klaus says, and gently takes her hand and walks away from the picnic table.

Klaus twirls Alexa around and pulls her close to him. And they kiss, affectionately.

That evening, in the study, Klaus and Alexa are sitting on the sofa.

"What about Mallory's nursery, she's not gonna need her crib anymore." Alexa says.

"She's gonna get older, I know." Klaus says.

"Yeah." Alexa says.

Klaus and Alexa exchange soft expressions at each other.

"I love you." Klaus says.

"I love you too, Klaus." Alexa says.

Klaus and Alexa kisses each other. He gently sits her in his lap as they proceed to kiss, affectionately.
