Aikos pov

I had some free time so I decided to spend some time with hitori to see how he's doing. He was sitting in the dinning hall with rita.

"hey aiko could you stay with hitori? I have some stuff I need to do"

"sure thing"

"thanks"

Hitori looked worried when she ran off but I gave him a reassuring smile.

"easy pal it's going to be alright I'm still here"

"okay I trust you miss aiko. Your kind after all!"

"me kind? Nah kid your mistaken me for my sister" I chuckled.

"your sisters not the one who helped me through my depression you and miss rita are! And I don't know how to thank you for that"

"it nothing. I would have starved myself to death if it wasn't for everyone here. I think we're strongest when we're together."

"yeah" he said quietly. I should give him a proper pep talk.

"look kid I was on the same boat as you. Losing a loved one is hard. You don't want to even imagine life without them  But I think they'd want us to keep going ya know"

"yeah" he stood up and bowed politely "thank you for staying with me miss Aiko I enjoyed our time together" with that he walked away.

I hope the best for that kid I really do.
