Personality: cold towards her brother and others who's forced her into submission. She likes stability. Strong as freaking crap. She believes that everyone should dress and act how they want to. She's a free spirt that handles responsibility well.

Possible Ships: I seen her shipped with India and I think that's kinda nice. I think she should be with Soviet Union for a bit. Now, I kinda see her being with Saudi Arabia for a little bit and then ending the relationship. Now she's just a strong country on her own.

Explanation of Ships: Art showed me the cuteness of IndiaxAfghanistan. Plus in history, they were supposed to be married, but then she had to fight against India to get her independence from British Empire. Then, Soviet came along and gave her some stability and made her stronger, but it costed her freedom which Pakistan tried to warn her about, but she was too charmed by Soviet to listen. Then, Saudi Arabia saved her from when Soviet turned against her, but eventually was corrupted and turned on her, himself.

Family: Father is Iran. Brother is Pakistan.

Location: Central Asia

Appearance: Usually seen in a yellow and black dress. Has a crack dividing her along her cheek and right shoulder. She is short and thick. Her skin below her face is divided into black and green. Black on left hand side and green on right hand side. Usually has a shawl type thing over her head and around her shoulders, but her face is commonly seen. Usually has silk pants under her dress to cover ankles and then sandals on her feet. 🇦🇫

National Animal: Snow Leopard

History: the indigenous people of Afghanistan were mainly farmers and herders. She went through many changes of rulers during her pre-history and ancient history. She was supposed to marry India, but either India or Afghanistan had to go off and lead their armies because their father died or something. Afghanistan had to fight Georgia and I think she lost so she was pissed at that country. She took over Persia for a bit, but that didn't end well either. Persia absolutely hated being under her control and took back his power. British Empire and Russian Empire began to fight over Afghanistan. Russian Empire is basically her son, so he's trying to defend her from the British Empire. In history, though, they both just wanted more land. British Empire gave her stability, but was super harsh on her. Around World War I, she was forced to stay out of it. She fought off British Empire's influence by hurting India. So now, India doesn't want her as his wife. Afghanistan then focused on herself and tried to give women education and less strict rules like abolishing the rule that women have to wear Muslim veils. Ended up in a civil war and she broke apart. The less strict side of her won and killed the Islamic ideals side of Afghanistan. At one point, she got closer to Soviet Union and started to ignore her brother, Pakistan. She began to feel ill and Italy took care of her at that time. Later on, she became socialist and women had basic rights equal to those of men, but Islamic ideals were banned for all (which isn't very freedom of choice in my opinion). Soviet Union helped guided her into becoming the perfect ally for himself which some people can change that into trying to marry her (but I hate that ship I'm sorry). She battled against him so that she could keep her ideals. United States and Saudi Arabia decided to help her out. United States helped her through Pakistan though and their brother sister relationship was fixed. For some reason, her brother started to spy on her and tried to take control over her, so now they were on bad terms again. So Saudi Arabia helped Pakistan and her father helped protect her from her brother and Saudi Arabia. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia overpowered them and forced Afghanistan under house arrest. Pakistan tried to get his sister to conform to his way of thinking, but she wouldn't give in. Pakistan forced her into submission and got her to attack the United States. America and Britain then intervened. They started fighting against Afghanistan even though she wanted modern ideals in her country, but she was messed up in the head because of Pakistan's and Saudi Arabia's torture. America and Britain helped her become sane again and she was very thankful. Afghanistan started getting tired of the constant fighting and was doubting if she should fight so hard for the life she wants. Her brother wouldn't listen to her and kept fighting her. So she kept fighting back.

Personal Feelings: As an American, I'm pretty sure we clashed against them, so I'm kinda wary. I love drawing the emblem on the flag and drawing her as a CountryHuman. Update: ok, I just did a ton of research on Afghanistan and I never realized what a badass she is. I feel horrible for having a bad opinion about her in the beginning, but now I'm glad I looked into it and found out HOW AWESOME SHE IS. I mean her history is just literally amazing!!!! She's a crazy strong country and I hate how she has to fight for the ideals she's been wanting for so long and not get them easily...

Personal ties: I have drawn her before. I also searched up her national animal with my sister. And I roleplayed as her and her national animal.
