Percy's P.O.V

It was only a little bit before I was going to talk in front of the reporters that Peter came in, "Percy I heard what happened, I'm so sorry." He said slumping in the seat while Aunt May excused herself.

"Wasn't your fault." I said rubbing my eyes as I reviewed what I was going to say.

"But if I hadn't rescheduled then you guys wouldn't have gone out." Peter said

"Actually we were going to get ice-cream anyway before we worked on the project so no worries." I said

"Still feel like it's my fault." Peter muttered.

"It's not, anyway I'm going to be doing something in a few, don't know how long it will be, but you are welcome to join."

"Sure." Peter said getting up with me.

We started walking toward a small conference room where reporters were, "I need you to stand to the side and let me talk. This is crucial, don't talk unless I tell you even then be careful what you say." I said

Peter nodded and we walked into the room reporters flashing their cameras and already asking questions.

I walked to the podium and said, "May I please have your awareness?" I asked, "I know you all have questions and all. The most likely thing you want to ask is what exactly happened." I swallowed some nerves.

"What happened was that Chiron and I were heading home after getting something to eat and we were hit by a car. Chiron was the badly damaged out of us. I'll answer 5 questions ."

Reporters started raising their hand, "You in the dress?" I asked

"Are you mad at the person that hit Chiron Brunner?" The dress-lady asked

"The truth is I'm not."

The dress-lady was still standing and all the other reporters were mummering and writing things down, "Why?" She asked

"The person who hit us with the car was barely 18 and instead of driving off in a panic, he stop." I waited a few seconds, "The kid, who in someone else's place would've taken off, stopped, got out of the car, and dialed 911 and stayed until the ambulance came.

You ask me why I'm not mad at him, he did nothing wrong, he was just distracted because he recently got his permit and it happened. I could be mad at anyone but I'm not, I understand that what happened, happened and I shouldn't be mad instead I should be with Chiron until he wakes up."

The reporters were mummering and writing more things down as the dress-lady sat down. More hands were raised, "You with the glasses?" I said

Glasses- guy rose and asked, "How badly damaged is Chiron Brunner?"

I swallowed, "Chiron took a lot of the car in the legs, because of that he is going to have a hard time moving around. Overall, he is going to be in a wheelchair until he learns to walk again."

"Does that affect your relationship with Mr.Brunner?" A fellow asked with a fedora.

"I don't see why it would change the bond Mr.Brunner and I have, I still think of him as a second-father no matter what." I said, "Girl with Blond Hair?"

"Who are you going to be staying with?"

"As of now, until Chiron is better, I am going to be staying with my cousin Peter." I said and got off the stage ignoring how to reporters were asking questions and flashing more pictures as I walked out and had Peter follow me out.

"That was interest." Peter said

"Yeah." I said as we started walking toward a vending machine and grabbing a soda and chips.

"Are you guys ready?" Aunt May asked as she found us.

I was gulping my soda but nodded, "I have to pick a few things up but yeah."

"We can stop and get them on the way home." Aunt May said

I nodded, "Did Leo bring you?" I asked

"Yes, lovely man."

"That he is." I muttered and moved toward the waiting room.

"Leo come on." I said to Leo as he got up from where he was as we entered the room.

"Let me guess Olympus Enterprise then to May's house?" Leo asked

"Yup." I said popping the P.

Leo smiled and walked us out, he opened the door while I wrinkled my nose at that, "How many times do I need to tell you that you don't have to open the door for me unless you guys want it." I said as I looked from Leo to my cousin and Aunt.

"It's quite all right." Aunt May said

Leo started to drive us back to my home to help back my backs.
