Percy's P.O.V

I worked on a few of my cars that were in my lab after that I went home and finished the homework that I had.

Then I went home to where Gabe was and silently made my way to my bedroom. Only he didn't seem to like that. He was really drunk tonight and when Chiron said that if it ever got out of hand to call him on speed-dial.

So that's exactly what I did and during his beating we started to hear sirens and then the police came. I didn't want know what exactly I looked like for I blacked out.

What felt like 5 hours later when I woke up from blackening out from the beating and the first thing I saw was white walls. The second thing was the pain in my chest in arm.

The other thing was Chiron that was to the right of the bed, "You know I never liked hospitals." I commented then quickly started to cough because of the sore throat I had.

Chiron sat up quickly and hit a button that was on my right and then started to get a glass of water. He gave me a cup and told me to drink slowly and not gulp it down.

I smiled at him and took the few sips until the water was gone. When I drank the water a doctor came in, "Hello you must be Percy my name is Will and I see that you are up. You nearly broke your arm, you are covered in scratches on your arm and legs, you have a small concussion along with a black eye. Your right leg has some nice bruises but you can still walk on it fine, 1 broken rib that nearly punctured your lung. Any questions?"

"Yeah, when can I leave?" Percy asked looking at the doctor who smiled in amusement.

"You can leave as soon as someone sign the papers. Seeing how you don't have any parents or guardian a family friend will have to do." Dr. Solace said

Percy looked at Chiron who gave one glance then went with the doctors for him to explain more things. Leaving me to wallow in the hospital bed with nothing to do. I decided to get the remote and turn on the tv until I could leave.

My ADHD acted up pretty early and I was starting to get restless. Thankfully Chiron came in and I let out a sigh of relief. Dr. Solace came in and gave me pain medication and let me be.

Chiron had Leo, his driver, pull the car around and opened the door for me. I rolled my eyes because they didn't have to do that no matter how many times I tell them they smile and open act innocent as they open the doors.

I had no idea what I was going to tell the kids at school, hopefully they wouldn't ask. Actually what was the time I only guessed it was 5 hours but I have no clue.

"What time is it?" I asked Chiron and Leo

"Around 10 A.M." Chiron said looking at the watch on his wrist. Well school was going on, "I'm missing school." I said with a frown

Chiron snorted, "You get hurt they way you did and the first thing that comes to mind is that you're missing school. You know you probably already did this weeks homework not like you're missing anything. Leo said while Chiron was now fully laughing.

I huffed and crossed my arms the best I could, "Well hello it's the second day of school for me and so what if I did this weeks homework means more time working on the cars and other projects."

I still had no idea how to explain this to my friends, wait when were they my friends and not strangers who invited me to eat lunch with them?
