Before they can take another step, someone jumps down in front of the fiery couple; blocking their path. Said person is clad in a white, skin-tight costume that resembles a cat.

"You two are not going anywhere!" the white cat shouts aggressively.

In response, Artemis drops a pair of smoke pellets and vanishes; leaving a very confused speedster and cat.

"I hate it when she does that," Kid blanches, as he suddenly finds himself dodging a punch from the white cat.

Using his speed, he dodges a few more punches and narrowly missed being clawed in the face.

"You know, you remind me of her sister," Kid Flash quips as he attempts to punch the cat. He misses, and it leaves him wide open.

"And you need to stay still!" the cat furiously exclaims as she finally lands a hit.

The hit is solid and causes him to skid through a store window. He goes to retailiate, but both of their attentions are drawn to the large explosion on the roof of the building across the street.

"Artemis!!!" Kid Flash exclaims concerningly.

He then charges up the side of the building and searches the roof haphazardly, completely ingoring his attacker. Desperately searching for...

Five Minutes Earlier...

Spiderman and White Tiger watch the two dimensional travelers effectively neutralize the bank robbers. They are astounded at how the non-powered one one-upped the speedster.

"Woah," Spiderman whistles. "And I thought the other guy was fast."

"We have to move quickly, then, if we are going to take them down," White Tiger shouts right before she jumps over the ledge.

"Wait! Tiger!" Spidey exclaims, failing to get her to stop.

No. We can't just talk to them. Noooo! We have to just fight them, cause that's the White Tiger way.

Spiderman watches the skirmish from the roof across the street from the bank. He immediately regrets not stopping Ava from jumping into the situation headfirst. For he loses track of the second individual.

"Wait?!" he exclaims to himself. "Where did the other one go?"

A light tingling sensation graces the back of his skull, signaling incoming danger from behind him. Said danger is a pair of very sharp and green arrows. The arrows lodge themselves into the railing that Spiderman was previously perched on.

He lands and looks behind himself....

But there is nothing there, but a lone arrow giving off a quiet beeping sound a few feet in front on him.

He cautiously approaches the arrow. He goes to pick it up, and his spidersense goes crazy when the beeping stops.

Stupid spideysense. There's nothing wrong here. It's a dud.

He picks up the arrow to inspect it, when it explodes and engulfs him in highly durable green foam; trapping him in place.

"Oh what now?" he states annoyed when his brain tingles once more.

"Yoo-whoo....Spiiii--deerrr!" a female voice exclaims.

Spidey looks towards where the voice came from. He sees a girl clad in a revealing green costume holding a bow and several arrows. She is standing on top of the small shack that houses the roof access door. Before he can say anything, she speaks.

"I'd love to stay and chat," she taunts, "but I have to help my friend beat yours. So just stay still for me, will you?"

She aims her bow at the sky, and three arrows arc up, on a trajectory to impact him. She jumps off the shack and runs toward the edge of the roof, when her arrows impact in a circle around Spiderman.

After a few seconds, the arrows unleash a large explosion. The blast breaks him out of the foam trap and into the air. After he lands, he hastily looks for the girl-ready to retaliate. But what he was not ready for was seeing her crumpled up against the wall of the shack she was perched on. He rushes to her and picks her up off the ground.

Holding her in his arms, he has no time to worry about her condition. For her partner shows up.

And he looks angrier than a restrained Hulk.

The first thing Kid Flash sees after arriving on the roof is a man dressed in a spider-themed costume holding the unconscious form of his girlfriend. He only knows of one spider-themed character. And as far as he knows, that guy is an assassin.

Wally's vision goes red with rage at the thought of this man harming her.

"Put. My. Partner. DOWN!!!" Wally growls, trying his best to stay professional.

Lightning crackles around him as he clenches his fists.

The Spider-Man flinches back, and calmly says, "Easy man. Just calm down--"

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY GIRLFRIEND!?!?!" KF exclaims angrily.

Oh great! Leave it to me to be left with the pissed off, superpowered boyfriend.

"Listen, buddy," Spiderman tries once more. "I didn't do anything. She got caught in blast from her arrows and was thrown against the wall. She needs medical help."

Hearing this, Wally calms down, slightly, and approaches Spiderman. He holds out his arms, gesturing that he wants to hold the green clad female. Spiderman complies and hands her over. The speedster then cautiously lowers her onto the floor of the roof; laying her flat on her back. He inspects her thoroughly. He feels slightly relieved after detecting her breathe and pulse.

White Tiger lands behind him, but she deters from attacking when Spiderman motions for her to stand down.

"Artemis?" KF asks weakly, his voice filled with concern. "Beautiful...? Please...Say something..."

After a tense moment of silence, Artemis scrunches her face and groans, "Wally...?"

"Yeah, Beautiful?" the speedster replied, concern melting away.

"You're an idiot, Baywatch," the archer returns snarkily.

"I love you, too, Harpy," her boyfriend replied, chuckling. He then worriedly asks, "Think you can move?"

"I think so..." she says as she pushes up off the floor.

She gets two feet off the ground before she clutches her head in pain and starts to lay back down.

"Easy," Spiderman says as he helps guide her back down. "I think you might have a concussion. There are some people on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier that can help her."

"Helicarrier?" Kid states in confusion. "What the heck is a helicarrier? And what is S.H.I.E.L.D.? Some type of paragovernmental organization? Cause we're kinda trying to avoid making an interdimensional incident."

"Too late for that," Tiger retorts. "You and your friends blew up a Hydra stronghold. You're lucky to have gotten this far without them retaliating. Besides...We have orders to bring you guys in--"

"--By sundown," Spidey interrupts. "In the meantime, I know a place where you guys can keep a low profile, and your...friend can rest."

The spider holds out his wrist, and a strand of webbing attaches to the side of the building next door.

"Just follow me," he swings.

Without a second thought, Kid Flash picks up Atremis and runs after him.

A/N: Again, I am sorry for the wait, but the length of this part should make up for it.

The next chapter is in the works, but it will be a while because...finals are next week, and I really need to study.
