Okay, that was alot more difficult than you would believe, Rimuru made it seem alot easier in the anime and manga, but figuring out the water compression was difficult. But, after I figured out how to use it, I manage to acquire [Water Manipulation], and yes, I did figure out the water blade before leaving the lake, so now I'm searching for any underwater life, but there doesn't appear to be any that I've come across.

Maybe I should just hope that plot convenience does its job, and I end up slamming into Veldora like Rimuru does...

As I decided to follow the actual story, I ended up shooting myself out of the water like a cannon, and slamming into a wall. Though I already linked [Predator] with [Self Regeneration] beforehand, since I knew I could do that...I am probably much stronger than Rimuru was at this point, and I scavenged resources alot as well. The Dragon in front of me was gigantic, and is absolutely terrifying. The anime and manga did not do him justice on how terrifying he is! I couldn't help but tremble a bit.

"I thought that I told you not to be scared when you saw me..." he sounded a bit upset, as well as disappointed

"Oh, um, sorry, it's just that you surprised me with your epic entrance...as well as the fact you shot me back 30 feet just from shouting," I mentally replied

Really? Did you really think that I looked cool?

You know, it was terrifying that he did that right when I saw him, and now he's acting like a shy schoolgirl who was just called beautiful by her crush...I am now over the fact that this is a giant Dragon that could easily cause something close to the apocalypse for this world

"Yeah, it was definitely cool," I replied again "albeit terrifying..."

We kept talking, and I decided to keep following the actual storyline of the story to the very end of our encounter

"So...would you like to be freed?" I asked a bit sceptic of what I'm supposed to say since I forgot what Rimuru said

"Yes! Please!" Veldora shouted, with me finally being able to actually hear him again since I now have the
[Magic Perception] skill.

We go through with what happened in the recent anime, but for some reason Veldora ends up seeming like a shy school girl when asked to be friends.

"Alrigh, if you insist....Baka..."

I was about to use the skill to devour him, but we ended up going through one last event before getting the actual journey underway

"Oh yes, first, how about you come up with a name for me? It will be like a family name that we shall share"

I thought about if I should change the series at all, but I decided to go with it

"How about...Tempest?" it was a great step towards my future adventure, though I'll only supply this body with my consciousness at the point of getting to the goblin tribe and taking great sage to eat as much Hipotke Grass and Demon Ore as possible to find, as well as every new monster it comes across with a new skill.

"Hmm...I love it! And you, my friend! Your name, from now on, shall be...Rimuru, Rimuru Tempest!"
