Today is the school festival.

I was assigned my Classes booth along with Henry selling his book, and Justin showing off his robot.
"Oh hey Miss Saya" I heard Laurance say.
He and Simon walked towards our booth.
"Hey, you two." I said, smiling.
Then I noticed Laurance had a giant rabbit plushie.
For a second, I thought I was yellow, but I rubbed my eyes and saw it was white like most rabbits.
"Look at this," Laurance said. He pulled up the rabbit plush. " It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!!"
"I won it in the test your strength game." Simon said. "I gave it to him because he acts like a helpless bunny at times." he said.
"Yeah, that's the only reason." Laurance said, hopefully.
"So, Henry, what are you selling?" Simon asked.
"Some mystery books I wrote myself," Henry said.
"Oh, are they based on true events?" Lawrence asked.

"No, " Henry said. "Or maybe it is?" He said in a mysterious voice.
Laurence made an excited noise.
"I'll buy one!" He announced. He threw some money at Henry and grabbed a copy.
He skipped off, and Simon followed.
"Simon really needs to realize Laurance loves him" Henry said.
"You know?" I ask.
"Im the ultimate detective, I can notice anything." Henry explained. "If I didn't, I wouldn't be here."

"I guess that makes sense," I said. "So, any updates from your uncle?" I ask.
"No, not really." Henry said. "He hasn't been talking to me lately."
"Oh, I'm so sorry." I said. "Maybe he's just busy."
"I know," Henry said.

He started organizing his books.

Then I saw Janet come over.
She was dressed up in some odd get-up.
"Oh, hey," She said. "How is it going?"
"Pretty good, what are you wearing?" I asked.
"Oh, I'm cosplaying the anime character Celestia Ludenberg," She said. "You like it?"
"Well, it's beautiful, but I don't know who that is?" I said. "But I bet she's lovely."
"She's not; she's one of the most unpopular characters." Janet explained.
"Really...Why?" I asked.
"Oh, she murdered two boys and tried to frame it on a robot," She said with a straight face.
"Then....why are you cosplaying her?" I asked.
"Oh, to show off my skills. Besides, I can't be the ultimate cosplayer by only cosplaying popular characters." Janet said.
That's a fair point.
"Well, quick question, could you cosplay a real person?" I asked her.
"Oh no, it would be a disguise, not cosplay," Janet said. "And besides, there's a worse reason I can't; I'll get a skin rash every time I try, I call it cospox."

"That sounds painful," I said, shocked.
"Oh, it is," Janet said. "That's why I never do it."
She then walked away.

I looked around the festival. It is taking place in the school gym. And it's enormous.
This school has so many talented students.
Writers, Hunters, photographers. Every talent you can imagine.
Lucas was talking to a girl with red hair with a camera around her neck.
Then he came over to Henry.
"Hey, Harry!" He announced.
"Um, my name is Henry," Henry said, creeped out.
"Quick question, we're you in any clubs?" He asked.
"School clubs, huh..." Henry said "I wasn't in any clubs."
"Hyaaaaha! That's a major bingo!" Lucas said excited.

"Wh-What is?" Henry asked worried.

"Well, isn't it obvious!? You should be part of Goldy's music club from now on!" Lucas said. He calls himself Goldy? "For a while, everyone thought music clubs were outdated because the rock-and-roll boom was dying off..."

"But I'm not really into music...." Henry said worried.

"Nooooo problem! You can just pretend you're playing an instrument while a music track plays in the background." Lucas chirped.
That's not something the Ultimate Musician should say!!!!

"But even if I'm pretending... I've never even held a musical instrument." Henry said "I've played violin before, but nothing you could-" Henry was interrupted by Lucas.

"Everyone starts at that point. As long as you feel the love, there's no problem." Lucas said.

"What do I have to do...if I don't really "feel the love"?" Henry said.
"It's okay! Jamming out is sooooo much fun!" Lucas yelled "You'll be so popular with the ladies! Chicks go out with guys who pretend to be musicians all the time!"

He does know? Right?
"Well, I guess I could," Henry said. I know that tone. He just wants Lucas to go away.
"Ah, Goldy has dibs on the guitar, so you can't use that!" Lucas said.

The two of them kept trying to find something Henry would play.

Then I noticed Victoria walking by with a food cart with a cloth over it.
"Excuse me, Ms.Phenoix," She said. "Is it ok if I borrow Justin for a minute?"
"Oh, Justin, you can leave Matthew for a few minutes?" I ask.
He named his robot Matthew. Who was currently talking with the ultimate Programmer? A small girl wearing a green blouse with a long brown skirt.
"Oh, sure, I guess." Justin said. "What is it?"
"The Headmaster told me to bring him some lunch, and he said that his air conditioner is broken," Victoria explained.
"Oh, that's it?" Justin asked. "Well, let's go then!"
Justin took off with Victoria.
Then I noticed Finn and Daniel by the ultimate baker table. It was covered with cupcakes, cakes and cookies.
Then out of nowhere.

The entire room went dark.
"Agg! It's a blackout!" Yelled a male voice.
"HEY, I can't see anything!" I heard a female shout.
"Ow! Stop stepping on my feet!" I heard Finn yell
"It's pitch, black! My future is pitch black!" Lucas yelled.
"What's going on?!" Matthew, the robot said.

Then the power turned back on.
As I was looking around, I looked at the baker table.

Daniels's appearance had been compromised.

"What? How did that happen just from tripping?!," Henry said, confused?
" Yay! An erotic pose! That's obviously a fan service moment!" Finn yelled in a cutesy voice. Holding a small brown teddy bear.
"My cakes!" The ultimate Baker. A redheaded girl. "You ruined my cakes!"

Oh, thank God, that's icing. But what happened to his shirt? I see his tie is on the floor.
I notice his button-up shirt was ripped up and on a nearby table.

"Agg! I'm sorry! Please...please don't look at me!" Daniel yelled.
"Oh I cant take this! Camera girl, get some pics!" Lucas yelled.
"No! I'm not that kind of photographer!" She yelled.
As people, we're yelling Henry, and I helped Daniel to his feet.
"Im so sorry, I guess my body didn't learn how not to trip," Daniel said, begging for an apology.

Then a loud feminine scream rang out.
"What was that?" Finn asked, covering his ears.

".....VICTORIA!" I yelled, realizing she's the only person not here.
Henry and I ran out of the Gym and up the stairs to where the Headmaster office was.
I noticed Victoria.
"What happened? Are you ok?" I yelled.
"I'm okay, why do you ask?" She asked me.
"I heard you scream!" I yelled.
"That wasn't me," She said, pointing towards a traumatized looking Justin.
"Well, how did you expect me to react to that!" He yelled, terrified.

I walked to the door.

And what I saw made my whole world fall apart.
Hanging from a noose was Theodore Gearldine.
My adoptive uncle was there dead. His blue eyes once filled with wisdom we're now a dull color.

Then everything went black.
