Sayas pov

It's Sunday, so I have the day off. I spent most of it crying in my bed.

Why.....why is this happening? What did I do to the gods to have this happen?

I took some deep breaths.
I got out of bed.

I had converted my living room into a type of office. I had a few bulletin boards around the room.
Each with pictures, lists, every piece of evidence I got!

On one board is a list of interviews from the student council.
Frederick's account: Me and Benjamin were in our hotel room, listening to music.
Davids account: I was cooking in the central kitchen, it was pretty loud in there, so I listened to a cooking podcast. That day's subject was salad—lettuce eat lunch.
Henry's account: Me and Daniel were watching some mystery movies. And I have to say the twist at the end was predictable. Mrs.White wasn't with the group when the maid was murdered, and also, how-(Henry rambled on about how the movie made no sense)
Ian(Ultimate Moral compass) Account: I was helping Mr.Henderson(Nikolais fake name) with the creation of the midterms Ma'am! He said he was tired after two hours and he went to his room! He forgot his phone, so I brought it to him.

Ronnie(Ultimate spokeswoman) account: I was watching a movie with Anna, the ultimate animal tamer. It was a documentary on ancient Japan.

I also had pictures of each of them connected to the account.
Then on a second board, I put a list of odd things from each death.

Laurence star: Eggs Benedict on the table. Why would he make it and not eat it? And why was the water still running?
Simon Ogami: The blood. Why was he bleeding if he drank poison?
Update: During the event, a glass bottle from an exhibit fell from a beam and hit him in the head.
Justin Sham: The food he was choking on, it was a Japanese style bento box. He started choking on some thick meat.
Victoria Walker: The glass bottle. It was empty and broken. No label. Can't even tell what was in it. And the bat that was the murder weapon was stolen from the equipment room the day after Laurance's death.
Update: The girl's locker room can only be accessed by swiping the school keycard. If it reads female, you can enter. Not even the headmaster's card can open it if they're male.
Finnegan Evans: his kimono sash was tied with the bow facing the front. He said in Japanese culture, if someone wears it like that, it means they're a whore. Why would he wear it like that to a show?
Lucas Gold: The police said that he must have accidentally killed Finn and committed suicide out of guilt. But if that's true, why was he wearing a mask? He took pride in his face. Why would he wear a mask?

This whole situation is terrible.
But at least Sebastian believes me.

I heard a knock on the door.
Speak of the photoshop angel.
I walked over and opened the door.

Sebastian was wearing a black leather jacket with a skull on the back, ripped up jeans, and boots.
Of course. He has to keep the bad boy thing up.
"Ms.Phenoix, I found something," Sebastian said. Then he noticed all the boards. "Wow, it seems you're more of an ultimate detective than Henry."
I laughed.
"What did you find?" I asked. He had his phone out.
It used to be covered in stickers, and it was bedazzled.

But now it had a pitch-black case.
"Well, It turns out the ultimate Con-Artist was around the Washington lodge during the retreat." Sebastian said," He told me he was selling knock-off FamousFilms merchandise."
"And what did he say?" I asked.
"Well, he texted me," Sebastian said "But, I have to warn you, I was reminded that 90% of what he says is a lie."
"Anything can help." I said. Even if there's a thousand percent chance that it's a lie.
"Well, he told me while he was haggling with a Karen, the power in the entire building went out for an hour." Sebastian said," Then when it came back on, the wifi didn't work correctly."

Oh....ok.
The Wifi at the lodge didn't work after a power outage. But what does that help?

"Thanks," I said," Anything else?"

"Well..." Sebastian trailed off. "Nikolai sent each student an email with a video."
He pulled up his email on his phone and showed me the video. He played it.

"You may be wondering, but we have a school mascot!" Glitchy said. "But I have to say; I'm cuter than the previous one."
Nikolai changed the school mascot from a tiger to this cinnamon roll version of Glitchtrap.
"Now, you know that due to recent student deaths, " Glitchy looked sick and worried "some parts of the school are closed off for police inspections," Glitchy explained.
He cheered up again and somehow got a cookie.
"So, the pool and auditorium are off-limits." Glitchy said. "so, everyone has a good school year and waits for the pool to be reopened, and for your trouble, the Headmaster has a surprise for every student, have a lovely weekend!"
