Wedding
It had been about four months since Ulaz had proposed to you and today you both were getting married. The Paladins had come back to your dimension unexpectedly the previous day and you naturally invited them to your wedding. You were kinda sad when they told you that Allura was gone. At the moment your mom, Pidge and Romelle were helping you, Gev, Mur and Kocho get ready while your dad and Coran helped Ulaz and Laz get ready. Kocho, Mur and Gev were going to be your flower girls and Laz was going to be the ring bearer.
Your kids and your parents of course knew that you were pregnant. Your parents knew that it would happen again and your kids were excited when you told them about their soon to be siblings.
"Mom, I'm nervous, I mean really nervous." You said as your mom zipped up your wedding dress.
"Don't be, it's not healthy." Your mom said with a smile.
"But what if he changes his mind? What if he thinks I'm not beautiful enough? What if he leaves me when I give birth?" You asked nervously.
"Y/n, he will always love you, he will always think you're beautiful and he would never leave you, no matter what." Romelle told you.
"I-I guess you're right." You said as you put your veil on.
"Mama, why are you nervous?" Kocho suddenly asked you as your mom zipped her dress up.
"Because it's what grown ups do sometimes." You said with a smile.
"Awww, you three are adorable!" Romelle said when Mur, Kocho and Gev were dressed.
"Thank you." They said in sync.
"Okay, here's your bouquet so I think you have everything." Your mom said as she gave your bouquet to you as she cried a little.
"Please don't cry mom." You said as you hugged her.
"I'm sorry, it's just that I can't believe that you're actually getting married, it seems like it was just yesterday that your father and I had just brought you home from the hospital." Your mom said as you gave her a tissue.
"I believe it's time." Romelle said as she looked at the clock.
You all then went outside where the wedding was being held. Coran was going to be the priest since you didn't want the government to know about Ulaz. All of the Paladins were already seated while your dad waited at the beginning of the aisle for you and Ulaz waited for you at the altar.
"You look beautiful Y/n." Your dad said as you walked over to him.
"Thanks." You said as you linked arms with your dad.
"What about us grampa?" Mur asked your dad.
"You three are cuter than spring lambs." Your dad said with a smile.
As your mom sat down the music began playing so your dad began walking you down the aisle. You could feel your heart beating really fast as you got closer to the altar. Romelle, who was your last minute bridesmaid, gave you a reassuring look which calmed you down a little. When you reached the altar you and Ulaz smiled at each other before Coran began reading a small book that your dad had borrowed from the local preacher. You briefly remembered the day you had first met Ulaz and you realized how long you both had known each other.
Before you knew it, it was time for you and Ulaz to say your wedding vows before you both exchanged rings. You tried your best to remember your vows.
"I love you, Y/n, because you are the most beautiful, kind and brave woman I have ever known. I love you because you accepted me as one of your own. You are the love of my life and you have made me happier than I could have ever imagined and more loved than I thought was possible. I vow to always be by your side. To listen to you and to love you no matter what. I vow to value our differences just as much as our common ground. I vow to put all of my effort and love into our marriage and into raising our children together. I will love you forever. I am lucky that you chose me to be your life mate." Ulaz said, remembering his vows line for line.
"The day I met you I knew that my life was changed forever. As time went on I realized that I loved you more than I loved anyone else. I love how you're always gentle and kind. I love how you put others first and that you would do anything to protect those you love. I love that you're in my life and I love that we will be together forever. I vow here and now that I will do anything and everything it takes to strengthen our marriage through thick and thin and on good days and bad days. I vow to always love you, be there for you and listen to you. I vow to be the best mother for our children as I can. I'm lucky to have you in my life." You said as you tried not to cry.
Ulaz smiled down at you as you said your vows. He was more in love with you than he thought was possible. Coran smiled as he started reading from the book again.
"Oops." You heard Laz whisper as he bent down to pick something out of the dirt.
When it was time for the ring exchange you took Ulaz's ring off of the pillow and slid it onto his ring finger. You managed to order a custom wedding ring for Ulaz so that no one would get suspicious. Ulaz was careful when he slid your wedding ring onto your ring finger.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife." You heard Coran say after the ring exchange.
Ulaz pulled you in for a soft but passionate kiss that left you breathless. You heard cheers and after you pulled away from the kiss you threw your bouquet and you saw Pidge catch it and blush.
"Is it cake time yet?" Mur asked you curiously.
"Yes, yes it is." You said as everyone went to where a few tables were set up.
You were surprised when Hunk baked and decorated a last minute wedding cake. You knew that he was going to be an excellent professional chef. When you cut two small slices of cake you and Ulaz fed it to each other, but you were careful not to make a mess. You hummed in satisfaction when you found out the cake was your favorite kind of cake. Once you served everyone each a slice of cake you all sat down.
You smiled when you saw your kids happily eating their slices of cake. You had also rented a cabin in the mountains that was far enough away from people so that you and Ulaz could have a honeymoon.
"Mur, you have icing on your face." Ulaz said as he wiped the icing off of her right cheek and nose.
"Sorry papa." Mur said as she went back to eating.
"Mama, do our baby siblings like the cake?" Kocho asked you curiously.
"Yes, they do." You said with a smile.
"Even though they're in your tummy?" Laz asked you.
"Yes, even though they're in my tummy." You told him.
Just then you heard someone begin to play music. Something that would be good for a slow dance.
"May I have this dance?" Ulaz asked you as he stood up.
"Yes, you may." You said as you stood up and he led you to where some of the Paladins were dancing.
"You look very beautiful tonight." Ulaz said as you both started dancing.
"Thanks, you look very handsome." You said with a smile.
You leaned your head against Ulaz as you both slowly danced. You were happy now that you both were married, it truly was one of the happiest days of your life. You saw your kids giggling at Lance and Pidge as they danced and accidentally stepped on each other's feet. There was still so much to do and you both would be moving to Ulaz's original dimension in a couple of years with your kids. But right now you were content as you slowly danced with your one and only true love.
