It was finally Christmas Eve and you and your parents went to town to drive around and look at the Christmas lights people had up.
You took pictures with your phone so you could show Ulaz when you got back. After you and your parents got back home Sasha came running to you and started rubbing your legs so you picked her up.
"Hey Sasha, I see you missed me." You said happily.
Sasha meowed in response and started purring loudly. You put her down on the floor and rolled a jingle ball on the floor and she chased it and patted it around for a while. You then sat down with your parents and your mom read the Christmas story. After your mom finished reading the Christmas story your parents went to bed and you went to go visit Ulaz.
You knocked on the door and he answered it and let you in.
"Hey Ulaz, how have you been so far?" You asked him.
"I am fine." He replied.
"My parents are asleep so it's safe for you to come see the Christmas Tree." You said.
Ulaz followed you to your living room and you plugged in the lights on the Christmas tree and it lit up.
"Well, what do you think?" You asked him curiously.
"It's nice, although your Earth customs are still strange to me." Ulaz said.
"Don't worry, you'll understand them someday." You said.
He went to have a closer look at the Christmas tree, although he was almost the same height as the tree so he had to bend down to have a closer look at the ornaments.
"Why do you have this 'Christmas tree'?" Ulaz asked you curiously.
"Well, the evergreen fir tree has traditionally been used to celebrate winter festivals for thousands of years. People used the branches to decorate their homes during the winter solstice since it reminded them of the spring to come. Christians use it as a sign of everlasting life since pine and fir trees don't go dormant during winter." You explained.
"That is interesting, but why do you decorate it?" Ulaz asked you.
"Christmas ordements have had a long history. The tradition of decorating an evergreen the holidays goes way back to the 16th century in Germany. Ordements were made of glass and sometimes apple shaped." You said.
"And why is there a star on top?" Ulaz then asked you.
"It symbolizes the star of Bethlehem." You replied.
He only looked at you in a confused way so you read the Christmas story to him and he finally understood.
After a while of talking to him you both went back to your side of the house.
"Goodnight Ulaz, I'll see you tomorrow." You said.
"Goodnight Y/n." He said as he went back into his bedroom and you went into your own bedroom.
Ulaz soon fell asleep while thinking of everything you had told him. He started to wonder how the Paladins celebrated Christmas as he slept.
