Your pov.

I woke up and got ready. I went outside and saw Ukyo.

"Ukyo what are you doing here? " I asked and started walking.

"I wanted to walk with you. " he said and walked with me.

"Okay then. But I am so happy today is the National Tournament. " I said really happy.

"I can see that. " he said.

Time skips...

We got to the stadium and walked inside. Straight ahead we saw Zander so we walked towards him.

"There are my other two team members." he said and smiled.

"Yep. " me and Ukyo said in fusion when we heard a guy start to shout. I looked confused, Ukyo was standing there as if it was a usual thing and Zander started laughing.

"Zander are you ready!? " someone shouted and right in my ear.

"Hey stop shouting. You shouted right in my ear. " I said and looked at the kid.

"Sorry. " he said and looked at me.

"Wait a minute who are you? " he asked.

"Oh right (y/n)  you've heard of Valt, right? " Zander said.

"Valt Aoi his bey is Valtriac his favorite move is rush launch and didn't he also make a new move during the tournament and what did he call it wasn't it ultra flash rush launch. " I said and looked at Zander and back at Valt to she his really happy and smiling a lot. He grabbed my hand and started shaking it really fast.

"Yep that's me it's so nice to meet you." He said still shaking my hand and Ukyo looked mad.

"Hey cut it out already her hand might be sore already and who will she battle. " Ukyo said and got between me and Valt.

"Oh right sorry. Anyways what's your name? " Valt asked.

"My name is... " I was cut off by Zander.

"This is (y/n) (l/n). " he said and Valt grabbed my hand and started shaking it really fast again.

"It is so nice to meet you come meet my team. " he said still holding onto my hand and I looked at Zander to see him laughing and I saw Ukyo coming after me.

"Hey guys look I meet a new friend her name is (y/n) (l/n). She's on Zanders team we are going to have some competition. "  he said and started to squeeze my hand.

"Hey! " I shouted and Ukyo took my hand away from Valt's.

"What? " he looked at me and Ukyo confused.

"You were hurting her hand. " Ukyo said.

"Oh sorry, do you need an ice pack or something? " he said and I was holding onto my hand.

"No thank you. But it's as if your trying to to break my launching arm or something. " I said and moved my shoulder when I did it started to hurt. I stopped and my eyes widened in pain.

"Are you okay? " Ukyo asked.

"Yea. " I said and quickly went to the restroom. I put my hand on my shoulder and it started to sting.

"My first time in a tournament and this happens. " I mumbled and walked out like everything was okay. I walked around trying to fund an ice pack.

"(Y/n). "Ukyo said but I kept walking. I knew if he found out that I was hurt he wouldn't let me compete.

He caught up yo me and put his hand on the shoulder that was hurting. I but my lip and my eyes widen in pain. I quickly shaked it off and looked at him.

"Yea. " I said really calm.

"Come on Zander is waiting for us. " he said and started walking and I walked behind him.

I looked around for Zander and didn't see him. I looked at Ukyo and saw that  he was going a different direction. We soon got to the audience seats. We sat down and I saw that I was sitting next to Shu. I've heard a lot about him. And next to him was Valt.

"Hey (y/n) good to see you again. " Valt said and smiled.

"Hi it's nice to meet you I'm Shu. " Shu said and took out his hand so I can shake it.

"It's nice to meet you too I'm (y/n). " I said and shaked his hand when I shaked it hurt more. I bit my lip because of the pain and closed my eyes shut.

"Are you okay? " he asked and I opened my eyes but I was still biting my lip I nodded my head.

"Yea. I'll be right back. " I said and walked to the restroom. I wanted to scream in pain. I walked out and went back to my seat. I looked around and didn't see my mom. Typical.

But I was still upset. The point of getting away from my dad was to be together. But we have been more apart. I felt my phone vibrate and saw that it was my mom.

"Aren't you going to answer? " Shu asked.

"No. " I said and and out my phone away.

"Why not? " Ukyo asked.

"Don't worry about it. " I said and kept watching when Valt quickly got up and ran to the back bumping into my shoulder. My eyes widen and I bit my lip harder in pain.

We all looked at where Valt needed to come out. And he wasn't there he needed one last call and then he was there. He looked stunned and he walked to the other team captains like a robot. Then it was time for the athletes pledge. And it was one of the best I guess. I've never heard one. Anyways I just wanted to get out if here already if we aren't battling today. Everybody left and I quickly walked to the doctors. The doctor called me in and I took off my shirt but it was a good thing I have a tank top under.

"Alright what's been going on? " he asked.

"Well my shoulder has been hurting and I don't know why. " I said.

"Alright I'll need to take some x-rays and tomorrow I should have the results. But if you beyblade you probably should stop and let your arm heal. " he said.

"What I can't stop blading I'm in the national tournament my team needs me. " I said.

"Sorry they will need to find someone else you need to rest. " he said and I put my shirt back on. I walked out and really sad.

My first tournament and I'm going to have to miss it. I'm not going to I need to be in it. I must be strong I need to be there for my team and for my bey.
