Your pov.

I got to Zanders Dojo earlier than usual. I opened the door and saw Ukyo.

"(Y/n)." He said ran to me and hugged me.

"I missed you. " he said and kissed me our lips came together and separated the kiss.

"It's only been one night. " I said and giggled.

"Yea but without you by my side I feel empty. " he said and pulled me closer to him.

"What are you doing here early? " I asked him.

"I always am here early. The real question is why are you here so early you usually aren't. " he said.

"I don't know I felt like Zander needed to tell us something important today so I came over here. " I said.

"Tell us something important?  Oh you mean he's going to tell us who he picked for the National tournament. " he said.

"Really I hope both of us get to go the national tournament. I've never been to one because of..." I cut myself off.

"Because of what? " he asked.

"Never mind I just hope me and Phantom Orion get to be a part if it. It will be out first tournament. " I said.

"Well I agree with you we both better be in the team then. " he said and I took out my bey.

"Let's hope that we finally get a chance partner. " I said and he started to shine. We heard the door open and let go of each other.

"Oh Ukyo, (y/n) just the people I wanted to see. " Zander said.

"What is it Zander? " me and Ukyo both said in fusion.

"Well I want both of you to be a part of my team on the national tournament. " he said.

"You heard that partner we finally have a chance we get to be part of the national tournament! " I jumped up and down full of joy.

"Congrats (y/n) I knew he will let you be a part of the team for the national tournament. " Ukyo said.

"You are a part if it too. See I told you, you will able to go. " I said and smiled.

"Well what are you two waiting for get going start practicing. " Zander said.

"You know what I would but I want to show you guys something I've been working on. Now that I can go to the National tournament I can show you guys there. " I said.

"Alright if you say so. " Zander said.

"I have to go home bye. " I said and ran back to my house.

Time skips...

I got hone and I jumped up and down full of joy. I couldn't believe that I am in the national tournament. The twins came down and looked at me confused.

"What's going on? " they asked.

"Yes! " I shouted and ran to my room.

"Alright phantom orion let's practice we have to show everyone we are strong. So they won't doubt for a second. Have them be on the edge of their toes and win. Let's show Zander that he won't regret his decision. " I said and my bey shined.

I got the the stadium in my room and practiced there. Every time I practiced I felt that we got stronger every time. I knew we will be ready for the national tournament. I grabbed my bey and got ready to launch when I noticed that my launcher was in a different angel. I launched it and he went straight towards the middle. But he increased speed. Instead of staying in the middle he went around the stadium increasing more speed. That's when he went back to the middle and stayed there. He started to lose speed and stopped. I picked him up and looked at him.

"What was that? What happened? How? " I asked.

"Okay I've been practicing for about 5 hours I think I should rest. " I put my bey down and laid on my bed.

I closed my eyes and feel asleep. I couldn't wait for the national tournament. It was my time to show everybody that I am strong enough, that I am ready.
