Y/N's POV

I walked towards my 'home' which was just a cardboard box. I crawled inside and put up a sign that said 'Adopt me, I'm free!'. Did anyone adopt me? no... :( I sighed and threw the sign at a tree. I grumbled a bit and laid down. It was evening time, and everyone was everywhere. Either getting home from work, getting to work, or going out to eat with their family. I remembered the time when I had a family. But now...All I have is this stupid box and that stupid sign which, by the way broke from the impact of the tree...it broke like the impact of my family... I started crying. No one bothered to ask if I was okay. Such nice people...!

~Time skip to le night~

I could NOT sleep. The cars and people talking kept me up. "Great..." I said quietly. I jumped out of my box, my tail swooshing behind me, and started to walk. I usually walked off my worries and sadness. I kept walking and took a left, then a right, then a left. Soon, I got tired and walked back to my box. I decided to ignore the noise and sleep.

~Time skip to morning~

I smelled...fish....tuna to be exact. The glorious smell awakened me from my slumber and there, beside my box, was a plate of tuna. I saw some kids my age staring at me. One kid had dark navy blue hair, blonde, raven, white, and another blonde colored hair. I stood there, staring at them.

"I-Is this for me?" I asked. the ravenette nodded. I smiled and ate the tuna happily. It's been days since I last ate. When I was done eating, I hugged the ravenette first, then the rest. They all smiled at me. 

"Thank you! Wait... I w-was wondering...Would one of you people like to adopt me?" I asked. The blue navy one spoke, "Sorry, Cat girl, but I do know someone who would like to adopt you!".  I perked my ears forward, then back. 

"Who?" I asked. The white haired one spoke now, "Ukyo Ibuki. He is usually at Xander's dojo, by the way, I'm Shu, this is Valt, Rantaro, Wakiya, and Daigo. And you are~?" Shu asked. 

"I-I'm...Y/N......" I spoke so quietly they did not hear me.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"I'm...Y/N...!" I said a bit louder. They finally heard me. 

"Nice to meet ya!" They all said. I slightly smiled and nodded as in saying, 'same'.

'Did I just make friends?' I thought. If I did...geez...! I smiled more.
