Third Person POV
"What are you doing here, Dad?" Billkin asked as his father approached him and PP.
"I'm the one who should be asking you that," Billkin's father replied.
Billkin turned to PP.
"Should I tell him?" Billkin asked.
"Tell him what?" PP was wide eyed with panic.
Before Billkin could reply Billkin's father asked PP, "Are you PP, the son of Mr. Amnuaydechkorn?"
PP hesitated to answer.
"Why do you know him?" PP countered.
"He and I are about to merge our businesses and he has asked me to be the one to approach you about a sensitive matter," Billkin's father replied.
"Please excuse me for a second," PP asked of Billkin's father.
PP took his phone out of his pocket to call his father.
While he was doing that, Billkin turned to his father.
"Dad, what is this all about?" Billkin was starting to get anxious.
Billkin's dad gave Billkin a thoughtful look as if pondering on whether to tell Billkin or not what his unexpected visit to PP was all about.
After a brief moment of silence, Billkin's dad said, "His father and I have decided that after our merger is completed, we want to ensure that it stays permanent by having both heirs marry and thus keep the business within the family."
"I can't believe that you would think of something like this in this day and age," Billkin said, shaking his head.
"You better believe that his father and I are dead serious about it," Billkin's father warned him.
In a few minutes PP returned saying, "My father refuses to tell me what your visit is all about but confirmed that he has asked you to come and see me."
"Don't agree to it," Billkin warned PP.
"I need to know first what I should not agree on," PP said, giving Billkin a quizzical look.
"They want us to get married in order to keep the merged business within our families." Billkin supplied the information.
"And why are you against our marriage?" PP asked, giving Billkin an offended look.
"Because it will be a marriage of convenience, not a marriage of love," Billkin argued.
"So you're saying that you don't love me," PP's offended look turned into a hostile one.
"It's you who has never once told me that you love me," it was Billkin's turn to look offended.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Billkin's father looked wide eyed at both young men as he listened in on their conversation. "Are you... are you by any chance ..."
"Should we tell him now?" Billkin asked PP.
PP turned to Billkin's father.
"We are in a relationship but it's too early for us to be talking about marriage," PP said.
"Yes, it's too early," Billkin agreed. "Too early because he has not even once said that he loves me even after he had agreed to be my boyfriend."
"Don't expect me to say it in front of your father," PP protested.
"Then say it to me inside the house," Billkin said grabbing PP by the wrist and pulling him towards the front door and then after opening it he swept PP into his arms and carried him inside bridal style, making sure to kick the door shut before proceeding to the bedroom.
Billkin's father stood watching them with widened eyes before pulling his phone from his pocket and making a quick call to Mr. Amnuaydechkorn.
"It's all systems go," was all he said on his phone before walking to his car with a wide grin on his face.
