Third Person POV
PP was awakened by the sound of loud and angry voices in his driveway.
He bolted out of bed and ran out of his room and out his front door just in time to see Billkin give Tae an uppercut, making Tae almost lose his balance.
Tae was getting ready to swing back at Billkin but before he could land the blow, PP yelled, "Stop! I want both of you out of my property! Right now!"
"Tell him to get his car out of my way!" Tae yelled back angrily. "And for the record, he started the hostilities!"
PP turned to Billkin, saying coldly, "If you don't get your car out of the way, I will call the police on you."
Billkin climbed back into his car and reversed it out of PP's driveway. He did not drive back home though. He parked his car by the curbside beside PP's fence and waited for Tae to drive out of PP's driveway.
As soon as Tae had driven away, Billkin drove his car back into PP's driveway and rushed to PP's front door just as PP was going back inside.
"Wait! Please!" Billkin yelled, grabbing PP by the wrist. "We need to talk!"
PP stopped and looked at Billkin coldly.
"We have nothing to talk about," he said to Billkin. "Leave me alone."
"I want to apologize for the birthday party incident." Billkin said, not letting go of his hold on PP's wrist. "I stupidly allowed myself to get buzzed, knowing that you would be coming to the party. What you saw at the party was not to my liking but still I accept the responsibility for what happened. I promise it won't happen again. Please forgive me?"
"I forgive you, but I'm still upset so I want to be by myself right now," PP said, the coldness in his tone slowly melting away.
"Thank you, PP," Billkin said, his voice quivering a little with emotion. "Yes, I will not insist on staying, but promise me you will see me later on?"
"I'm not promising anything," PP said, eliciting a loud sigh from Billkin.
Then suddenly as if something just dawned on Billkin, Billkin's eyes grew wide before squinting at PP and saying, "You let your date spend the night with you, didn't you? Don't even try to deny it because I noticed his wrinkled pants and shirt."
PP stood and stared at Billkin, deliberating within himself on whether to say something or to just turn his back on him without giving him the satisfaction of a response.
After a brief tense moment, PP decided to speak up.
"I don't really have to give you any accounting of my activities," PP began, "but yes he did. He spent the night with me and he made passionate love to me and I will never forget the pleasure that he gave me for the rest of my life."
Without a word, Billkin let go of PP's wrist and went back into his car, and with a loud screech drove out of PP's driveway.
PP stared at the receding car wondering if he had gone too far by lying about Tae. They didn't even sleep together. Tae had used the sofa in the living room to sleep.
With a heavy heart, PP walked back inside his house and went straight to the bathroom to do his morning rituals.
By the time that he finished to shower and start his day, except for a mild headache from last night's alcohol, he was feeling better.
His stomach started grumbling for food so he went into his kitchen to see what he could put together for his first meal of the day.
To his pleasant surprise, he found a platter of sunny side ups and slices of toast covered with a saran wrap, with a sticky note attached on the side of the platter.
The note said, "I have made you some breakfast. I hope you will eat it when you wake up. Catch you later."
Tae had signed his name at the bottom. PP did not fail to notice that Tae had drawn a heart around his signature.
Oh the sweetheart, PP thought and then drew in his breath sharply after realizing what had just come unbidden to his mind.
