Previously on UD...

"What? It's not that bad." I cracked a smile and shook my head at him before grabbing the paper out of his hands and flipping over to the back before trying to recreate the drawing he did of me. I wasn't a artist, but at least I was little better than Haru at it. After a few minutes of trying to recreate his drawing and make it better, I showed the paper to him. He nervously laughed, scratching the back of his head

"Oh, now I see." I nodded when the bell rang, signalling for Homeroom to officially start. Our teacher for Homeroom walked in and sat down at his desk, a stack of papers placed on his desk that I reckoned to be others homework. I sighed, looking at my almost finished homework before plowing through it, annoyed at myself that I got distracted by the cow sitting right next to me who was still admiring my recreated drawing of myself.

Akira's POV

It was lunch time and I was currently walking with Haru and Momiji to the school shop to get ourselves some food. Momiji was skipping happily beside me, a wide grin plastered on his face and humming to himself loudly

"What's got you in such a good mood?" Haru asked Momiji from the other side of me

"Because Tohru complimented me earlier this morning, it was very sweet of her!" Momiji informed Haru and I, giving me the idea that they were talking about the same Tohru who knew about the family curse

"Tohru? Tohru Honda?" I asked Momiji quietly and he nodded in response, slightly turning his head to look at me

"Yep! She is very nice and caring, you will like her lots!" I nodded right when we entered the school store, instantly splitting up to different aisles to search for food like animals. Wait a minute that is basically what we are... I picked up a already made small size MTO, turning it over to see what was in it

"Contains... Wheat, Tomatoes, Black Olives, Ham, Turkey, Lettuce, Mayo, Provolone Cheese..." I read off to myself before shrugging and walking away, the MTO still in my hand. Now for something to drink... I went over to the coolers, scanning the contents inside them. Without me noticing, a student ran straight into me, catching me off guard and fall onto the ground, my glasses knocking off but luckily not breaking. I blinked rapidly, straining my eyes to see what was happening around me only to fail miserably

"Oh I am so sorry! Here let me help you, oh my gosh I'm such an idiot!" I heard the student state, the voice belonging to a girl who sounded frantic and embarrassed for knocking me over. I searched around the floor, looking for my glasses only for the girl to place them in my line of sight, handing them to me. I sat on my knees and placed my glasses back on, blinking again to see clearly again. I looked over to see a teenage girl with long brown hair and big hazel colored eyes and light tan skin, blue clippings in her hair to keep it out of her face. Wearing the regular school uniform, she dusted her skirt off before standing up, lending me her hand to help me up. I grabbed my fallen MTO before taking her hand, her pulling me up from off of the floor. I dusted myself off

"So sorry again, I wasn't looking where I was going and-" I raised a hand up, silencing her before shaking my head

"It's fine, I wasn't paying attention either, nothing to worry about." The girl sighed in relief, me sighing inwardly in relief, glad that she was the one who knocked me over rather than a male, that would have been a disaster. Haru and Momiji rounded the corner, alerted by the sounds of our voices

"Are you guys okay?" Momiji asked us, walking over with Haru trailing behind him

"Oh Momiji! Yeah we are fine, I just wasn't looking where I was going." The girl nervously laughed, a embarrassed smile spreading across her features. I nodded in agreement, Haru staring at me with a light smile

"Tohru, this is Akira Ammara. Akira, Tohru Honda." Haru introduced me to the girl I now know the name of as Tohru. The girl who knows about the Sohma Family Curse

"It's so nice to meet you! Sorry again for knocking you over." She greeted me and again with another apology, bowing to me. I nodded and bowed back to her before standing up straight

"Likewise." I told her and she nodded, smiling widely at me. I glanced down at my watch to see we had 15 minutes left until lunch ended. I walked over to Haru before tapping on my watch, basically shoving my wrist into his face. He nodded, noticing the time

"We better hurry before lunch is over." Haru informed Momiji and Tohru who nodded in agreement. We got the rest of our lunch together before paying and leaving, walking back to our designated classrooms, mostly eating our lunch on the way there

"See, what did I tell you? She's nice." Haru told, lightly bumping shoulder. I nodded, smiling before nibbling on my small size MTO. Looks like I indeed had nothing to worry about, just my own anxiety raging within my mind and body. I felt someone bump into my accidentally, having me slightly trip over my own feet, luckily Haru grabbed my forearm to keep me from falling. I turned around to see who bumped into me to see a cat, a cat I haven't seen in many years. Kyo Sohma, Curse Year Of The Cat.
