A gentle wind brushes across your face and you feel a chill run down your spine. This place looked....... familiar somehow. It was almost like a forgotten memory.

*Flashback*

"Hurry up! I want to show you something!"

"Wait for me!"

You run to catch up with a blurry figure. They pulled you by your hand and another blurry figure was holding their other hand.

*Flashback Ends*

You look down at your clothes that still had blood stained on it. You lift it up a little to see a cut across the side of your stomach. It wasn't deep, but it was still bleeding. Maybe there was water around here where you can wash the blood off. You walk down the path clutching onto your side. Flowey popped up from the ground.

"Flowey!"

"Y/n! I'm so glad I could find you."

"???"

"Be careful around here. There are monsters here who might want to kill you for your soul. Especially the skeleton brothers. I would try to avoid them if I were you. I'll try and find you later. I can't be here for too long."

Flowey goes back into the ground and disappears. I guess I'm on my own. You would have to go on your own from here on out. I hug both of my arms from the cold and start walking down the path. I can see my breath through the air each time I breathed out. I was halfway down the path until I saw a bridge. It looks like I can cross it. I step over a branch and continue down the path. I just took a few steps and I hear a Crack. I stop in my tracks and slowly turn around. The branch I had just stepped over was broken in half. I hold my arms closer to myself and my breathing became shaky.

I hope that wasn't the killer. What if he finds his way down here somehow?! Well, he'd have to get through Toriel first. You pick up your pace when you walk down the path. You look back and see a figure for just a few seconds before it disappeared back into the forest. I walk a little faster and was closer to the bridge now. Before I could take a step, a voice behind me made me freeze where I was.

"Don't you know how to greet a new pal? Turn around and shake my hand."

I clutch onto my chest to try and calm down a little before I slowly turn around. I see a dark figure a few inches taller than I was. It held out a hand for me to shake. I hesitated, but slowly reached out to shake it's hand. I felt them grab my hand tightly and felt a shock. I pulled away and clutch onto my hands. Was that a joy buzzer? The figure come out from the shadows and a skeleton now stood in front of you. A monster?! You thought that they didn't exist anymore after the war and I thought my teacher was crazy.

"Heh, the 'ole joy buzzer prank. It never gets old."

"Who are you?"

"The names Sans. Sans the skeleton."

Sans? That name sounds familiar too, but where have you heard it?

"I'm Y/n. I-It's very nice to meet you."

Skeletons can't move can they? Well, they are monsters but still. How are they actually doing that? You forgot that you were staring at him for awhile.

"Hey kid." He snaps a finger in your face.

"My eyes are up here."

You snap out of your thoughts before looking up at him. You cover your face to hide your embarrassment. He chuckles and puts both of his hand in his pocket.

"Anyways, let's cross the bridge. My brother, Papyrus, made the bars too wide to stop anyone. Papyrus made these bars? Why did he space the bars out wide?

Once you both make it across the bridge, he tells you to hide behind a boulder. You were confused and decided to ask him.

"Why do you want me to hide?"

He smirks.

"Well y'see...... my brother is a human hunting fanatic so if you want to get captured by him I won't stop you."

Without a word you hide behind the boulder and wait. You hear footsteps getting closer and louder.

"SANS! WHY AREN'T YOU AT YOUR POST?! MUST I DO EVERYTHING MYSELF?!"

"Hey boss, wanna see this boulder? It's really interesting."

Silence was all you heard until you see the boulder beside you get explode into many pieces. If you were hiding behind that boulder, you would've been dead by now.

"GET BACK TO YOUR F*CKING POST AND DO SOMETHING USEFUL FOR ONCE!!!"

You hear him leave and peek out from your hiding spot. Sans looks towards you with one eye closed.

"Well, I'm going to catch up to him first. You should see him too. He's actually never seen a human before."

Does he want me to get killed?! Before you could answer, he already left. You get out from behind the boulder. The cut on the side of your stomach started bleeding again. You're going to have to find some bandages sooner or later. You walk down the path and see a sign as you pass by it. It read:

Welcome to Snowdin

The sign was worn out and it looked like it was clawed. Maybe Flowey was right. You might get killed in this new world.
