It was 5:30 in the morning. Shivaay and Anika were snuggling into each other. Anika was almost lying over Shivaay. They were having a peaceful sleep in each other's embrace.

Anika's slumber was broken by the sound of alarm. She switched off the alarm and looks at Shivaay who was getting irritated by the sound and dipped his face more into Anika's crook of the neck. Anika closed her eyes on feeling his hot breath on her neck.

Anika opens her eyes and looks at Shivaay's face with a serene smile. She gently caressed his face with her fingers. A small smile appeared on his face and he opens his eyes and looks at her.

Anika immediately took her fingers back and closed her eyes and pretends to sleep. Shivaay smiles at her innocence.

S-You know it's bad manners to stare at someone who is sleeping.

Anika instantly opens her eyes and frowns at Shivaay.

A- I was not staring at you.

S- Oh really! Then I think I had a beautiful dream.

A red hue covered Anika's cheeks after listening to Shivaay.

She was about to step down from the bed when Shivaay pulled her back and she landed on his chest and her hair covered their face.

Shivaay gently removed her hair from his face and tucked them behind her ear while Anika lowered her eyes.

Shivaay gently kissed her forehead and Anika closed her eyes.

S- Good Morning, Gaon ki Gori.

Anika chuckles at him and pecked his cheek.

A- Good morning, Shehri babu.

Both chuckles and looks at each other and had an eyelock.

Their eyelock was broken by a loud knock on the door.

Su- Anika beta, wake up.

Anika and Shivaay looks at each other horrified.

Anika immediately sat up on the bed and Shivaay sat beside her.

A- Shivaay, it's mumma. What if she sees us together? Oh God! What will she think of me?

She looks at Shivaay who was trying to calm her down.

A- Shivaay, how can you be so calm? Mumma is standing outside the room, and you are so chill. Do something.

S- Anika, calm down. I am going.

A- But how?

He went and stood in front of the window.

S- I am going to my room. Just Calm down and then open the door.

Anika immediately went near him and hugged him.

A- be careful.

Shivaay nods his head and climbs down the window and reached his room.

Anika straightens her clothes and opens the door.

Su- Anika, why were you not opening the door? I am knocking from so long.

A- I am sorry, mumma. Actually I was in deep sleep so I didn't heard the knock.

Sunaina nods her head and enters the room.

A- What happened, mumma? You are here in the morning itself.

Su- Oh yes! Your wedding functions are starting from today. Today is Ganesh pooja so I came to give you your clothes.

Anika nods her head.

Su- I am keeping this on your bed. You go and freshen up.

Sunaina was about to move towards her bed when Anika spots Shivaay's T-shirt on the floor near the bed and her eyes widens. She shouts at the top of her voice.

A- MUMMA.

Sunaina looks at Anika with a horrified face.

Su- What happened?

Anika immediately came and stood in front of her.

A- Mumma, why are you troubling yourself? Give it to me. I'll get ready.

She took the dress from Sunaina's hands and fake smiled at her.

Su- But Let me help you to get ready.

A- No Mumma. I'll get ready. Please go downstairs. Papa must be waiting for his breakfast.

Su- Okay. Get ready soon. Ok?

Anika nods her head. Sunaina leaves the room and Anika hurriedly closes the door.

She picked up Shivaay's t-shirt from the floor and smiles.

A- One day, this Shivaay will definitely kill me.

She folds the T-shirt and hides it in her cupboard. She went to freshen up.

Here Sunaina was going downstairs when she spotted Shivaay coming out of his room. Shivaay looks at her and smiles.

S- Good morning, aunty.

Su- Good morning, beta. Did you slept well at night?

S- Yes aunty. I slept very peacefully yesterday.

Sunaina smiles at him.

Su- Beta, do you need anything?

S- Yes aunty, actually I have a habit to drink coffee in the morning.

Su- Oh! I am sorry beta. We don't have coffee powder in the house because nobody drinks it but don't worry, I'll ask Advay to bring coffee powder today itself. So if you don't mind, I can make tea for you.

S- It's ok, aunty. I'll drink tea today and I'm sure that it will be as delicious as your food.

Sunaina smiles widely and pats his cheek.

Su- Ok. I'll send your tea.

She was about to leave when she remembered something and turns to look at Shivaay.

Su- Beta, actually today is Ganesh Pooja in the house so can you please wear something traditional?

S- Of course aunty but Ganesh Pooja, any special occasion?

Su- Yes. Actually Anika's marriage rituals are starting from today and Ganesh Pooja is a part of ritual.

Shivaay frowns but nods his head in yes. Shivaay went inside his room to get ready.

Anika got ready and went outside her room.

ANIKA'S OUTFIT

She was about to go downstairs when she noticed a girl of around 12 years old going to Shivaay's room with a cup of tea. Anika went towards her.

A- Where are you going?

G- Sunaina chachi has sent this tea for Shivaay bhaiyya.

A- Ok. Give this to me. I'll give it to him.

The girl nods and handover the cup to Anika and leaves.

Anika enters Shivaay's room with the cup of tea. As soon a she enters, she saw Shivaay standing in front of the mirror only in a towel. She immediately turns around and closed her eyes.

A- Shivaay first wear something. Thank god it's me. What if it was somebody else?

S- So she must have enjoyed the view.

Shivaay chuckles and Anika throws a pillow at him.

A- Shut up and wear something.

Shivaay wore his clothes.

SHIVAAY'S OUTFIT

S- Now you can turn around.

Anika turns around and looks at Shivaay.

A- Wow Indian n all.

S- Of course. After all I am getting ready for your wedding rituals.

After hearing him, a moist layer of tears formed in her eyes. She kept the cup on the table and was about to go when Shivaay held her hand from behind.

He pulls her towards him and she banged to his chest. She has her eyes lowered.

S- Are you crying, Anika?

Anika shook her head in no while looking down.

Shivaay held her chin and made her look at him.

S- I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you.

A- you didn't hurt me but this whole idea of marriage hurts me.

Shivaay hugged her and Anika also hugged him.

S- I have promised you Anika that I will not let this marriage happen. Do you trust me?

Anika breaks the hug and looks at him.

A- More than myself.

S- Then just chill and look what happens. I won't let you marry that 8 foot ka vanmanush like I didn't let happen your engagement.

Anika looks at him shockingly.

A- What?

Shivaay smiles and took out the engagement ring from his pocket.

A- Are you serious?

S- Definitely.

Anika hugs him in excitement.

A- Oh My God! You are the best.

Shivaay chuckles and hugs her back.

After sometime, Shivaay broke the hug and looks at Anika.

S- Wow! You are looking very beautiful.

Anika blushes and looks down.

A- You also clean up well.

S- Thank you. Ok now let's go downstairs.

Anika nods her head and they went downstairs.
