After waiting outside her room for almost 3 hours he heard the door opening....looking at her red puffy eyes Rajveer could tell she was crying all time. Without answering anything Naina went and sat on her bed waiting for Rajveer to come...following her he sat beside her waiting to dyart the convo when he heard her say, "I heard you and Jahnvi aunty talk....how can you do this Rajveer...I considered you my best frnds...how can you love me"

"Why can't I love you naina...?"

"I am not someone you deserve...you should get the best...and I am not that...I dont even stand anywhere near you...giving me the designation of your frnds...shelter in your house...funding my education....giving me a loving family...you guys have already done a lot Rajveer....I can't ever pay you back for what you all have done...without knowing anything about me Jahnvi aunty got me home...I don't deserve you Rajveer...you shouldn't love me" she said tremblingly filled with tears.

"Why do you beleive all this Naina...you have never spoken about your past...please tell me something atleast...I am sure its not that big of a problem as you consider it" he said pacifying.

Standing from her place irritatedly she said "I can't marry you Rajveer...I cant"
Seeing Naina going out of her control Rajveer decided to keep this topic on hold untill she herself is ready to share...he knows something about her past is haunting her which she still fears to share "It's okay Naina...I won't ever force you for anything you aren't agreeing to do...i'll wait for you Naina"

"You shouldn't wait for me...please forget me and find someone suitable for you to settle Rajveer...I can never deserve a normal life, but you....you deserve the best...and you should get the best..." she said tiringly sitting on the bed again.

"No one can tell what to do or what not to do Naina...it's my life and i know what to do...love isn't something to just hop onto another...you have the right to reject my proposal but it's my choice to wait for you...even if it asks for all my life...." he said with finality.

"But...." she was about to argue when Rajveer stopped her "No arguements"

They stayed like that for sometime when he asked her frightingly "we are still friends right...??"

"How can you ever think I can live without you...but mind you its just frndship..." she said pointing her finger at him

"Fine" he replied raising his hands giving up.

"Now come...mom is waiting for you since then...she even called up dad and he is also returning soon" he informed while taking her towards the dining area.

Sighing at the memory which still seems fresh to him he laid down and went into deep sleep.

Next few days they had tirelessly worked for the song and now when the tune was ready they had worked on finalizing the song.

One day Rajveer was returning from his jog when he heard Naina singing...amused to see her awake this early he followed her voice and reached the studio where he found her singing their song ehich they were preparing....hypnotized by her voice he kept on standing at the door listening to her....

She stopped when she heard clapping sound. Turning around she found Rajveer entering the room.

"Mindblowing....this tune you took up...thats really nice...take it again..."

She followed his instructions gladly.

"Awesome...we are doing this edit in the song....btw what are you doing this early....?"

"Umm...mmm...yesterday....while practicing i had seen you a bit annoyed about my inability on picking up the line correctly...I know you would never scold me or anything of that sort...that's why I woke up early today and started practicing in a hope not to dissapoint you...." she reasoned out

"It's nothing like this naina...it is your first time professionally...and trust me it didn't matter to me...i know my Naina and i knew you would eventually do it...and see...you did it even better...don't ever underestimate yourself" he said motivating her while taking a seat beside her

And again they both had spent their whole day in the studio....Next day he came to naina with his tab. Passing one of his earphone to her he said, "Naina...this is the song we have prepared...listen to it as a critic and point out the mistakes...."

"Okay"

And they had sat there evaluating themselves sharing the same earphone...then after many sleepless nights they had finally prepared their song and decided to release it on Valentines Day.

As soon as the song was out....everyone went mad over it....along with praises for Rajveer there were innumerable appreciatery comments for Naina as well....with her first ever song she had made place in people's heart with her voice. She had become popular on the internet....many fanpages were set up shipping her and Rajveer with the hashtag "#Raina" the singing couple. She had also become a renowned person in her collage for her skills apart from studies.

"Rajveer....day after is my freshers ball....and my batchmates want us to perform....and" she came to his room barging in without even caring to knock. Keeping his case files aside he stood up from his place and came to her...leaning on the door beside her he completed the sentence she left in between "and you are here ordering me for the same"

"Yess" she nodded proudly.

"Fine madam....what other option do i have"

"Good....bye now...I have a tea and chess evening planned with Tej uncle" she said fleeing out of his room going towards the games area.

Smiling at her antics and her bond with his family he recalled how his father teases him with their 'tea and chess evenings' declaring about him being Naina's beastie but soon later to be disappointed by Naina when she answers saying "No one can replace my Rajveer, Tej uncle...he is my best frnd....you come after". Shaking his head Rajveer went back to his case files preparing arguments to be presented in the court on coming Monday.
