~Katherine's Pov~

We ended up making a plan and we were going through with it. We knew Gareth and his people were in the church right now so we were moving in. I shot the two guys standing at the door where Carl, Judith and Gabriel were at. "Put your guns on the floor." Rick said. "Rick we'll fire right into that office so you lower your gun-" Rick cut him off by shooting off the two fingers Gareth was using to point at the door. He screamed and dropped his gun, holding his hand. We started walking up to the people. "Put your guns on the floor and kneel." Rick said pointing his gun at one of the guys, they looked at us as we came out of the shadows. "Do what he says." Gareth said in pain, They all put their guns down and got on their knees. "Martin there's no choice here." Gareth said. "Yeah there is." Martin said. Abraham went closer to him. "You wanna bet.?" he asked looking at Martin. 

He put his gun down then got on his knees. We walked up to them all, "No point in begging right?" Gareth asked. "No." Rick said. "Still, you could've killed us when you came in. There had to be a reason for that." Gareth said looking up at Rick. It was silent for a second, "We use to help people. We saved people." Gareth said holding his hand, trying to stop the bleeding. "Things changed. They came in and-" He said bending down, groaning at the pain. "After that, i know that you've been out there but i can see it. You don't know what it is to be hungry. You don't have to do this we can walk away." Gareth said. I scoffed a bit looking at him. We both know he wasn't walking away from this. "And we will never cross paths again. I promise you." Gareth said looking up at Rick. "But you'll cross someone's path." Rick said and pointed his gun at Gareth for a second. 

He put it back down. "You'd do this to anyone, right.?" Rick asked and put his hand on his machete. "I already made you a promise." He said and pulled it out. "No!" Gareth yelled, Rick swung his machete, hitting Gareth over and over and over. Blood kept on splattering all over his face and jacket. Tara, Glenn, Maggie and I lowered our guns watching Michonne and Abraham beat people to death with their guns and Rick just killing Gareth with is Machete, Sasha was stabbing Martin over and over and over. I backed up a bit hitting Glenn's arm slightly, in shock. He put a hand on my arm watching too. 

Eventually everyone stopped and the place grew silent. "It could've been us." Rick said looking at us. Gabriel stepped out and i went over quickly to check on Carl and Judith. Carl lowered his gun realizing it was me and not one of those people, "Don't come out. Stay in here okay?" I asked. I didn't want him to see Rick all bloody like that.. He gave me a nod, I returned it and i closed the door. I kept my hand on the door knob. Rick walked over to me, I put a hand on his chest "Don't," i said stopping him from checking on Carl. "They're okay.. Clean yourself up first alright..?" I asked looking at him, i took my hand off his chest and he walked away to go check on the others. 

~The next day~

Bob passed this morning, we buried him here at the church. "This is our route to DC. We'll stick to it as long as we're able, If not you got our destination. Once Eugene gets to the big brains left up there things are gonna bounce back. This group should be there for it. You should be there for it." Abraham said. "They will be." Maggie said. "We will." Michonne said, "We will." Rick said. "Last chance." Rosita said looking at me, I smiled a bit and shook my head a bit, "I can't go.." i said softly. She nodded a bit and came to me, holding her arm out towards me. I went to her too and we hugged. "Nos vemos pronto." We'll see each other soon. I said. She nodded, "Yeah," she said and we pulled away.

I went up to Glenn and sighed looking at him, He pulled me into him and i hugged him back. "Sorry for being a dick.. Don't know if i said it." He said. "Hm," i said smiling a bit. He rubbed my back a bit. "Love you," i said softly. "Love you too." He said softly and we pulled away, I looked at Maggie and smiled at her. She did the same and hugged me, i hugged her back. "He'll come back." She said. "He better.." i said softly and we pulled away. "See you soon." She said. They all got on the bus and took off. 

~Next day~

Daryl came back last night a kid, his name is Noah. They said the same people who took Beth now have Carol. Right now we were getting the place secured, all the windows and the exits. "Hey." I looked over to see Daryl walking up to me. "Hey," i said. "I'll- go help Noah," Carl said and put the last nail on the board. He walked away from us, Daryl leaned against the wall looking at me, I finished nailing in the last nail too. "I had to leave." He said. I nodded a bit, "Yeah i know." I said softly and looked over to him. He was already looking at me, "Then why're you mad.?" He asked. "Because i thought you ran off again. We just found each other and you left, so my mind was just-" I said shaking my head, "I was overthinking." I said. "I wouldn't have left if i didn't have a good reason, you know that right.?" He asked. I nodded, "Yeah." I said giving him a small nod. 

He returned the nod, "You think i wasn't comin' back.?" He asked. "I didn't know what to think, thought you were mad because of how i talked to you earlier that day. Thought i scared you off or something." I said. "You couldn't scare me even if you tried." He said looking at me. I clicked my tongue, "Shut up you know what i meant." I said smiling a bit, he gave me a little smirk. "I won't leave again, not unless i have to. And if i do leave, know i'm comin' back to you." He said. "Aww see? Sweet Daryl comes out from time to time," I said and took a step closer to him. He kept looking at me. "Shut up.." He mumbled and looked away. I leaned in to peck his lips. He looked at me with this look on his face, This was new to him i get it. It was new to me too but i liked teasing him and making him mad. It wasn't a weird feeling for me but it obviously was for him. I raised an eyebrow. "Oooh better get use to it care bear." I whispered and kissed him again. He kissed me back and we pulled away. I patted his chest a bit and walked back to the rest at the front of the church.
