~Katherine's pov~

We made it to Woodbury. She was right about the guards on the walls, there were a few we were looking at right now. "Hey- hey!" Rick whispered. We looked back to see Michonne running off. "Damn it." Rick said and looked back at us. "Alright we need to downsize." he said, we got our guns ready. "Ain't no way we're checking all them buildings, Not with them guards there." Daryl said. There was a snap behind us and we turned, pointing our guns at the noise only to see Michonne. She gestured to follow her so we did. We got in the town, "This is where you were held?" Rick asked as we entered the first building. "I was questioned." She corrected. "Any idea where else they could be?" Rick asked. "I thought you said there was a curfew." Daryl said looking out the window.

"The streets are packed during the day. Those are stragglers." She said. "We gotta move. Anyone comes in here we're in trouble." i said looking out the window. "They could be in his apartment." She said. "Yeah? What if they ain't?" Daryl asked. "Then we look somewhere else." She said looking at us. "You said you can help us." Rick said. "I'm doing what i can." She said. "Then where the hell are they." Oscar asked. "Hey," Rick said. We all walked over, away from her. "If this goes south. We're cutting her lose." Rick said. "You think she's leading us into a trap?" Oscar asked. "Right now it's the blind leading the blind. Let's split up." Daryl said. There was a knock on the door, Daryl grabbed my arm and pulled me, we hid behind the wall.

The door to the building opened. "I know you're in here. I saw you moving from outside." We heard a man's voice. "Alright now. You're not supposed to be in here and you know it." the voice said, it got closer. "Who's in here?!" He called out. Rick went after him, pinning him to the wall. "Shut up. Get on your knees." He said and pushed him down to his knees. I grabbed his arms and pinned them behind his back, zip-tying his wrists together. "Where are our people." Rick said. "I don't know." He said. "You are holding some of our people. Where the hell are they.?" Rick said holding the gun to his face. "I don't know!" The man said. "Open your mouth." Rick said and put a rag in his mouth. Daryl hit him with his crossbow and he went down.

We got Maggie and Glenn, we were laying low in a building. They knew we were here now and they were looking for us. Glenn was pretty hurt. "Ain't no way out back here." Daryl said, "Rick, how did you find us.?" Maggie asked. "How bad are you hurt.?" Rick asked Glenn. "I'll be alright." He said. I grabbed a sweater and handed it to Maggie, "Where's that woman.?" Maggie asked. "Hey," i said to Glenn, "I'm fine," he said looking at me. "She was right behind us." Rick said, I nodded a bit and put a hand on his shoulder. "Maybe she was spotted." Oscar said. "Want me to look for her?" Daryl asked. "No." i said looking at him. "We gotta get them out of here. She's on her own." He said. I stood back up and Maggie put the sweater on him. "Daryl this was Merle." Glenn said. We all stopped and looked at him. 

"Merle.?" I asked. "It was him. He did this." He said. "You saw him?" Rick asked. "Face to face." He said as Maggie helped him with the sweater slowly. "Threw a walker at me. He was gonna execute us." He said. I looked at Daryl but he was looking at Glenn. "S-so my brother's this governor?" he asked. "No, he's somebody else. Your brother's his lieutenant or something." Maggie said. "Does he know i'm still with you.?" He asked. "He does now, Rick I'm sorry. We told him where the prison was. We couldn't hold out." Glenn said. "Don't, no need to apologize." he said and went back to the window. I went over to him too. 

"What's gonna happen now.? What if he tries something.? Yo left him on a roof." i said going to Rick. "He's gonna wanna do something once he sees you." i said. "We'll be out before anyone sees us." He said looking at me. "They're gonna be looking for us." Maggie said. "We have to get back. Can you walk?" he asked to Glenn. I stayed on watch at the window. "We got a car a few miles out." Rick said. "I'm good." Glenn said. I went back to them too, Rick and Maggie helped him off the floor. "Hey, if Merle's around i need to see him." Daryl said looking at Rick. "Not now. We're in hostile territory." Rick said. "He's my brother! I ain't gonna try-" Rick cut him off. "Look at what he did! Look, we gotta get out of here now." Rick said.

Daryl had this look on his face that I've never seen. "Maybe i can talk to him. Maybe i can work somethin' out!" Daryl said trying trying to see Merle. I looked at them both, and put myself in his shoes. If i knew my brother was alive and this close.. I would try and stay too. I don't blame him. "No, no, no. You're not thinking straight. No matter what they say. They're hurt. Glenn can barely walk. How are we gonna make it out If we get caught in a herd of walkers or this governor catches up to us? I need you." Rick said trying to talk him out of it. Daryl still had that look on his face. 

"Are you with me.?" He asked. ".. Yeah." Daryl said. He looked at me. I looked at him too then away for a second, then back at him. "On 3. Stay tight. 1,2,3." Rick said and Daryl threw the smoke bombs. Once there was enough smoke we moved. 

I honestly need to slow down with these uploads 😬 I'm gonna go down to like a chapter a day haha. I've been uploading like 3 or 4 a day.
