~Katherine's pov~

"I knew these guys. They were good men." Axel said, "Let's go." Rick said. We walked a bit. "So you just gonna leave us in here? Man this is sick." Oscar said looking at Rick. "we're locking down this cell block. From now on this part of the prison is yours. Take it or leave it. That was the deal." Rick said looking at Oscar and Axel. We got them to a cell block and cleared it for them, Rick walked out of the cell block. "You think this is sick.? You don't wanna know what's outside." Daryl said. "Consider yourselves the lucky ones." Rick said and made his way to the rest. "Sorry about your friends man." Daryl said and walked out too. I stopped leaning against the wall. "A word of advice, take those bodies outside and burn 'em." T-dog said and started walking away too.

"Cmon please," Axel said looking at me, I sighed a bit and licked my lips. "Look," i said taking a step forward to them. "This," i said pointing at the cell block, "This is better than outside. I need you two to understand that." I said shaking my head. "I get it, they were your friends and i'm sorry, i really am, But you have a roof over your head. You don't need to worry about food or water. You should be grateful you have this. A lot of people don't get to see this." i said and looked at them. They stayed silent, "Back there you said you had kids.. I'm sorry about that too.." I said, he kept looking at me. I gave them both small nod and walked out, starting to head back to the rest. I heard footsteps in front of me but they weren't from a walker though. I saw Daryl turn the corner coming towards me. I raised an eyebrow smiling slightly. "Ooh, did you worry about me?" i asked as he stopped walking.

"You weren't behind me." he said shining his light at me. I caught up to him. "So you were." I said. He didn't speak. I smiled at him, He looked over to me and i giggled a bit. He shook his head and looked forward i saw a small smile on his face. "Aww, it's okay you don't have to admit it. I know." i said as we walked.

~A day later~

We started cleaning up the prison yesterday, right now we were moving the cars. "Okay, let's get the other cars in. We'll park 'em in the west entry of the yard." Rick said. "Good. Our vehicles camped out there looked like a giant "Vacancy" sign." Daryl said. "After that we need to load up these corpses and burn 'em." Rick said. "Gonna be a long day." T-Dog said. "Where's Glenn and Maggie? We could use some help." Carol said. "Up in the guard tower." Daryl said. "Guard tower? they were just up there last night." Rick said looking at us. We walked over to him. I stood next to Rick, "Glenn! Maggie!" Daryl called out.

Glenn opened the door fixing his pants, no shirt on. I gasped a bit. "Oooh." i said softly looking up at him. "H-hey! What's up guys.?" he called out. We laughed a bit. "You coming.?" Daryl asked. "What.?" He asked. "Yes scandalous sex." I said moving my shoulders a bit and sticking my tongue out a bit, licking my top lip a bit. They laughed again and so did I. "You coming.?" Daryl repeated, Maggie stepped out with her shirt down slightly revealing her shoulders. "Cmon, we could use a hand." Daryl said. "Yeah- we'll be right down!" Glenn called out. I looked at Daryl and raised an eyebrow. He scoffed smiling at me. "Stop." He said and walked away. "I'm kidding!- I'm kidding." I laughed. Rick and Carol laughed looking at me, "It was a joke," i giggled. I looked at Daryl and he looked back at me shaking his head smiling.

"Or is it?" i asked. "Don't talk to me." He said looking away, still smiling. (This is a family show!..... Or is it?) I laughed a bit more and raised my arms. "I made him smile, It's a good day Grimes. I feel accomplished." i said patting Rick's back. "Yeah well i don't, we still need to get this done." he said. I giggled a bit looking at Daryl, "Hey Rick." T-Dog said. We looked back and stopped smiling as we saw Axel and Oscar, they weren't' supposed to be here. "Come with me." Rick said as he walked. We followed him and went over to them.

"That's close enough." Rick said as we reached them. "We had an agreement." He said. "Please mister, We know that." Axel said. Maggie and Glenn stepped out of the guard tower. "We made a deal, but you gotta understand. We can't live in that place another minute. You follow me? All the bodies- people we knew. Blood, brains everywhere. There's ghosts." He said. "Why don't you move the bodies out.?" Daryl asked. "You should be burning them." T-Dog said. "We tried. We did." Axel said. "The fence is down on the far side of the prison. Every time we drag a body out, those things just line up. Dropping the body and just running back inside. "Look, we had nothing to do with Thomas and Andrew." Axel said coming closer to us.

"Nothing. You trying to prove a point? You proved it bro. We'll do whatever it takes to be part of your group. Just please- please. Don't make us live in that place." he said. "Our deal is not negotiable. You either live in your cell block or you leave." Rick said not even taking a second to think about it. "I told you this was a waste of time. They ain't no different than the pricks who shot up our boys." he said. I tightened my ponytail a bit and crossed my arms over my stomach. "You know how many friends' corpses we had to drag out this week.? Just threw 'em out like-" Oscar cut himself off. "These were good guys. Good guys who had our backs against the really bad dudes in the joint like Thomas and Andrew." he said. Carol and I looked at each other then back at them. "We've all made mistakes to get in here chief. And i'm not gonna pretend to be a saint. But believe me.. we've paid our due." he said.

We'll see what Rick decides to do. He's the one who runs things, "Enough that we would rather hit that road than to go back into that shithole." he said. Rick looked back at us, Daryl shook his head and i shrugged shaking my head a bit too.
