Sanskar is buttoning his shirt when Ragini comes there. She removed his hands and started buttoning it. Sanskar smiles but frowns immediately seeing her dull face.

Sanskar: What happened to my Jaan?

Ragini: (looks at him) Nothing!

She says and again looks down to button his shirt. He holds her hand and stops her from buttoning his shirt. She looks at him.

Sanskar: Tell me what's bothering you?

Ragini: I don't know I am feeling uneasy. I want you not to go to office. Please will you stay back for me?

She asked making a cute face. He cups her face.

Sanskar: (concerned) You are feeling pain? Shall we go to hospital?

Ragini shook her head.

Sanskar: You want me to stay back?

Ragini nods.

Sanskar: Ok I will inform Laksh. He will look after the office for today.

Ragini smiles happily and nods yes. Sanskar kisses her forehead and goes to inform to Laksh. Ragini sits on the bed. Sanskar comes back after informing Laksh. He sits beside Ragini and she moves into his embrace.

Ragini: Shall we go out for sometime?

Sanskar: You want to?

Ragini nods. Sanskar nods ok and they move outside the house. Sanskar was about to move towards the car but Ragini holds his hand and points towards their garden. He nods and they both move towards their garden. She holds his hand and keeps moving all around the garden. Once she felt tired they go inside.

Ragini: I am sleepy!

She pouts. He smiles and helps her to lay down. She lays down and holds his hand. She slowly sleeps holding his hand while he keeps caressing her hair.

Ansh: I am going to hold her first papa.

Ansh says excitedly.

Sanskar: No not at all. I am only going to hold her first.

Ansh pouts.

Ansh: (puppy face) Please na please please please!

Sanskar laughs looking at his cute face. He pulls his cheek.

Sanskar: Done you will only hold her first. Happy?

Ansh grins happily and hugs Sanskar tightly.

Ansh: I Love You Papa!

Sanskar: I Love You too baby!

Ragini: Excuse me! I have a doubt!

Sanskar: Ok ask!

Ragini: What if we get a prince instead of princess?

Ansh: I will be in Papa's team and he will be in your team.

Ragini: If Princess comes?

Ragini asks frowning.

Ansh: (giggling) Both princess and me will be in Papa's team.

Ragini opens her mouth wide. Sanskar laughs looking at her.

Ragini: I Hate You!

Ansh: But I Love You Mumma!

Ragini twists her lips. SanAnsh wink at eachother and both of them kiss her cheeks from either sides. Ragini finally smiles.

Sanskar: Enough of playing baby. Go to sleep now.

Ansh nods and runs to his room wishing them good night.

Ragini: Everything ready?

Sanskar: Yes!

Ragini smiles.

Sanskar: Now you also sleep I will wake you when it is time.

Ragini nods and lays on the bed. She closes her eyes while Sanskar keeps caressing her hair. Ragini suddenly started feeling uneasy.

Ragini: Sanskar!

She says as sweat forms on her forehead. He immediately looks at her.

Ragini: I think we should go now.

Sanskar: Calm down! Take deep breathes ok!

Ragini nods. Sanskar takes the car keys and immediately lifts Ragini in his arms. He starts moving towards the car. Laksh who was walking outside in the garden looks at them. He immediately rushes towards them.

Laksh: Bhai I will drive, you sit along with bhabhi.

Sanskar: (makes Ragini sit in the passenger seat) No Lucky you come along with others. Ansh must be sleeping. Don't wake him. You bring him in your arms. Carefull! Don't drive rash.

Laksh: Ok bhai. Take care.

Sanskar gets into the car and starts driving.

Ragini: So calm! I didn't expect this!

She says giggling a little holding her stomach.

Sanskar: When the one who is going through lots of pain is calm and giggling you expect her husband to panic?

Ragini smiles. She presses her lips in between her teeth controlling herself not to scream and panic Sanskar. Sanskar on the other side looks at her struggle and pain gets teary eyed. He gulps and tries to drive as quickly and safely as possible. Soon they reach the hospital and Sanskar lifts Ragini in his arms. Soon they take Ragini to OT.

Sanskar stands there looking at the OT. His face depicts worry clearly. A nurse comes outside.

Nurse: Sir ma'am wants you inside along with her. Doctor gave permission. So please get changed.

Sanskar nods and immediately rushes to change. After five minutes he enters inside OT taking deep breathe. He sees Ragini struggling and screaming in pain. He closes his eyes tight not able to see her but takes deep breathe once again and moves towards her. Ragini looks at him and holds his hand.

Sanskar: Jaan I am here only. Be brave!

Ragini smiles painfully and keeps struggling. Sanskar is looking everything worried.

Outside all the family came there and are waiting for the news. Ansh is still sleeping in Laksh's arms.

After few hours Sanskar who is just staring Ragini's painful face heard a cry followed by Ragini's huge scream. He immediately looks that side to see a baby in doctor's arms. His eyes turn teary looking the little bundle of joy in doctor's arms.

Doctor: It's a girl!

Sanskar smiles happily and looks at Ragini who smiles weekly and falls unconscious. He bends to Ragini and kisses her forehead. He wipes his tears.

Doctor: Mr. Maheshwari please wait outside, we will clean the baby and get her out.

Sanskar nods and he goes outside. He changes himself and moves towards family. All look at him excited.

Sanskar: (smiles) Baby Girl!

All rejoice. Sanskar moves towards Laksh. He takes Ansh from him.

Sanskar: Baby wake up!

Ansh: (in sleepy) Two minutes papa.

Sanskar: Ok! Later don't complain that I didn't wake you and you missed the surprise.

Ansh: (wakes immediately with wide eyes) Surprise!

All chuckle at him. Sanskar nods yes.

Ansh: (with excited eyes) What's that papa?

Then he looks around.

Ansh: (confused) Hospital? And Mumma where is she?

Sanskar: Mumma is inside OT. Baby princess came out. That is the surprise I am telling about.

Ansh hugs Sanskar happily.

Sanskar: I think you forgot something else too.

Ansh: (excited) Birthday. It's my birthday!

Sanskar chuckles.

Sanskar: Yes it's your birthday and from now you are sharing your birthday with princess.

Ansh: Yayyyy! Then we both can cut two cakes. Both will wear same type of new dresses. And...

Sanskar: Control control! We will plan later.

Ansh pouts.

Sanskar: (kissing his cheek) Happy birthday baby!

Ansh: Thank you papa!

Sanskar: Ready?

Ansh: For?

Sanskar: You wanted to take Princess first in your arms right?

Ansh nods yes vigorously. A nurse comes outside. Sanskar makes Ansh stand on the bench and he himself stands back of him. He makes Ansh's hands forward and keeps his hands below Ansh's hands. He then signs the nurse to give the baby. Nurse carefully puts baby in Ansh's hands and Sanskar's hands which are below Ansh's. Now the baby is in the arms of her "TWO SUPER HEROS, HER FATHER AND BROTHER"

(The above paragraph is my favourite from season 1. That is why I wanted to use it even in this season. Sorry for repetition.)

Ansh: (with shine in his eyes) Papa she is so cute! Just like Mumma.

Sanskar who is just looking at his Princess lovingly nods yes.

Ansh: Papa now you hold her. I am scared she may fell down!

Ansh says lookkng scared. Sanskar smiles. The nurse takes the baby and Sanskar moves front and holds the baby in his hands looking at her lovingly. He bends a little kissing her forehead lovingly.

Ansh: Me too papa!

Sanskar smiles. He moves baby towards Ansh. He bends and kisses the baby's forehead lovingly.

Ansh: Bhayyu Loves you princess!

Sanskar: And Princess Loves you Bhayyu!

Ansh grins.

Laksh: Now can we get her please?

Laksh asks pouting at both son and father. Sanskar winks at Ansh.

Sanskar: No!

Laksh: (whinnes) Bhai please!

Sanskar chuckles. He forwards his hand and was about to give to Laksh but Sujatha comes in middle and takes the baby making Laksh whinne more. All chuckle at him. Everytime he think he will get baby next somebody or the other cheat him and take her away. At last when everybody is done they give him baby. He twists his lips and takes the baby.

Laksh: See princess only Chachu is innocent. All are cheaters here except Mumma, Chachu. And yes bhayyu too is very innocent. You become big soon we will show all of them hell.

Ansh giggles while all shake their head in disbelief. He kisses her forehead lovingly. His eyes turn teary but composes immediately as he doesn't want anybody notice the disappointment of not becoming father. Sanskar notices him. He rubs his back while Laksh smiles.

A nurse comes.

Nurse: Sir ma'am is shifted to the normal ward. You can go inside. And yes please no too many people just one or two are allowed.

Sanskar nods. They all move inside.

Sujatha: (kisses Ragini's forehead) Sanskar just call me when she gets conscious.

Sanskar: Ok ma!

Laksh: Champ let's go. We will come in the morning!

Ansh: (hugging Sanskar) Papa please I want to stay here with you. Please.

Sanskar: But baby...

Ansh: It's my birthday na please please!

Sanskar sighs. He signs Laksh to go. Laksh nods ok and all go from there. Ansh stands near the cradle and keeps looking at the baby with smile. He keeps observing how the baby is moving and looking around.

Ansh: Papa why is princess not looking at me?

Sanskar smiles.

Sanskar: She is just born baby. It will take time for her to understand everything.

Ansh nods. He keeps his hand on her cute little hand and the baby holds his finger.

Ansh: (happily) Papa she held my finger see see!

Sanskar smiles and keeps looking at both of them lovingly.

Sanskar: Baby enough of playing come lets sleep. You need to go to school in the morning.

Ansh: No school! I will stay with princess.

Sanskar: But you wanted to go till yesterday as it's your birthday.

Ansh: No I will spend my time with princess. It's her first day na.

Sanskar: Ok but lets sleep. I am sleepy.

Ansh pouts. He moves towards the other bed and sits there. Sanskar smiles and lays on the bed. He pulls Ansh towards him and makes him lay on his chest. He caresses his hair and slowly pats his head.

Sanskar: Close your eyes baby!

Ansh closes his eyes. Sanskar pats his head slowly.

Ansh: (opens his eyes) Papa!

Sanskar: Hmm...

Ansh: Let's bring big chocolate for princess in the morning. I will feed her.

Sanskar: (smiles) Baby princess shouldn't and can't eat anything now. She can only have milk. You can give her when she gets able to eat ok?

Ansh nods ok.

Sanskar: Now no more talking. Come on sleep.

Ansh closes his eyes and finally goes to sleep.

Ragini slowly opens her eyes only to find Sanskar sitting with the baby beside her and Ansh playing with the baby. She smiles lightly. Ansh looks at her.

Ansh: (happily) Good morning Mumma!

Sanskar looks at her.

Ragini: (smiles) Good morning Chotu!

Ansh: Mumma princess is so cute just like you.

Ragini smiles happily. Sanskar makes the baby lay beside Ragini so that she can see the baby. Ragini caresses her face.

Sanskar: I will just inform doctor and come. Baby take care of Mumma and Princess.

He says looking at Ansh. Ansh nods vigorously. Sanskar smiles and looks at Ragini. She assures him through eyes and he goes to inform doctor. Doctor comes and checks her and little baby.

Doctor: Everything is fine. No need to worry!

Ragini: Thank you doctor.

Doctor leaves. Ragini signs Ansh to come near her. He moves.

Ragini: Happy birthday Chotu!

Ansh: (kisses Ragini's cheek bending to her) Thank you Mumma!

Ragini: You liked your gift?

She asks looking at Baby. Ansh nods yes vigorously.

Ragini: We planned a surprise last night but couldn't surprise you. Sorry Chotu!

Ansh: But this is the best surprise and gift Mumma. I love you!

RagSan smile at his words. Sanskar kisses his forehead taking him in his arms. Ragini kisses the baby's hand.
