It's always nice to have a teacher whose personal life you know about. It makes them even more human than we think. However, there's a fine line between telling a bit about yourself and using the classtime to gossip about Shenelle from down the street and how it's so annoying that her cat climbs out of the house to scratch at your backdoor every night. That's what the Story-Teller teacher does. They mistake teach time for story-session and have no problem talking for minutes about the daily inconveniences in their life, or about the new shenanigans of their pet, or how much better their own kids are in comparison to the whole class. And even when they do teach, they'll assign a practice assignment and spend the next allotted amount of time talking to someone who's next to their desk. This may not sound so bad, but once you get to test time and you find you don't know anything because your teacher blabs about speeding tickets rather than Punnet Squares, you'll know why this is bad.
