These are the students that don't really act like students. And I don't mean that they're above "freshman" or students who don't bring pencils to school. I'm talking about students that are much more mature than others their own age. They are very responsible, do their work on time, don't really leave much room for goofing around, and every aspect of school is taken seriously. If they're in high school, they may even work or be leader of the sports team. (Depending on the type of student they are). Someone with these qualities is often referred to as an Adult, someone who is oftentimes more engaged in their school work or actual work than they are in fooling around. This may be by their own choice or not, but that's how most people seem them as: very mature and responsible. Not to be confused with the Teacher's Pet of course......
