Linked slightly to 'The Book Nerd', The Book Snob is exactly what they sound like. Snobbish about books.

'Oh I only read the classics.'

'I've never read YA Fiction, it's such trash.'

That is the kind of that comes out their mouths, and they don't seem to grasp the fact that people have different book tastes to them. They love to go on about how they read Moby-Dick at eleven, or what obscure classical novel they're reading at the moment.

This person's comments result in everyone around them rolling their eyes, and a lot of people wanting to hit them on the head with a book. Preferably a thick one like Moby-Dick.
