Chapter 9.
"You have to do it, there's no way out of it." The boss declared.
Dallen nodded his head, closing himself off from his feelings.

"What's you name?" he demanded one more time.
She was tied to a chair with rope, her body bruised to blue.
It ached if she moved at all, but she didn't care, her determination to stay alive held her tongue from giving away the information he so desperately wanted.
"Like I would ever tell you, you pig!" she cried, her voice hoarse from screaming out in agony.
He hated to see her like this, hated to cause her pain, hated that the boss found out about her pending identity. But there was no other way.
Not only was his life at stake, thousands were. Anyone and everyone affiliated with The Organization.
Clinching his teeth, he turned off his emotions once again. "Tell me!" he screamed, her face getting smacked.
"Why don't you kill me!" her hoarse voice sounded, "It would't matter then." she followed a little quieter.
He looked in her eyes, knowing that even if the boss told him to, killing her would not be possible.
Her emotions were not able to decide between anger, or sorrow. Tears streaked down her cheeks, but anger smoldered in her eyes.
How could she have been foolish enough to start liking him?! How could she possibly have cared, even a little bit, for this monster! Why did her heart have to feel like it was breaking, just as the rest of her body felt from the wounds smote upon it?
