Chapter 21.

PART 2

It had been a year, and Tylorie was now finally somewhat content. She had entirely quit the spy business, anything of that sort brought back memories of Dallen, and they were just too painful.

She had quit the country as well, far away to where even if she went by her actual name, her enemies wouldn't think to look there.

The little village she had moved to was rather remote, being placed in the foothills of the prettiest mountain Tylorie had ever seen.

The mountain had bee vaguely familiar to her, as if she had seen it before in a dream. But she just took that as a sign that this was the town that was meant for her.

She had gotten herself a job at the almost nonexistent library they had, which had been unused, rundown and dusty before she had arrived. Since her arrival she had cleaned it up and started adding to it's collections of books. Then the town's people had started to actually use it as it was meant to be.

It was after a long day at work, she being the only librarian but still having the library open the same amount of days and hours as any other public library, that she was shocked to see a man that she was almost certain was Dallen strolling down the sidewalk.

Following the man's figure with her eyes, she didn't watch where she was going and nearly ran into a stop sign, which quickly took her attention off of the familiar looking man. And for the rest of her walk home she only payed her attention to where she was going.

Her house was a cute little one, with a well taken care of yard. There was one bedroom, a bathroom, a very nice kitchen with a wonderful dining space to go with it, an office where she would play on her computer of go over the newly arrived books for the library, and a living room with couches, of course.

But no matter how perfect she had made her life, Dallen wasn't far from her mind. She tried her best to forget about him, but that night it was the only thing she could think of.

She couldn't help but wish that the man she had seen was Dallen, however slim the chance.
