She wasn't one to conceal her feelings once they had been made known to her.

It was for that reason that the very next day she made up her mind to tell Dallen.

She was setting herself up for heartache, but her heart would be heavy whether she told him or not. At least in telling him there was a chance for him to return the feelings, though she knew the chance was very slim.
