August 17th

Today is first day of school for Archer and
Sparrow! This school year they are going into third grade, meaning they will be in the upper part of elementary school. Archer and Sparrow won't be in the "little kid" area anymore.

So right now, the twins, Hazel, Tyler and Korey are all enjoying breakfast together!

"Thanks for making brekkie, Uncle Korey!" Archer and Sparrow both say happily to Korey.

Hazel babbles as a thanks, understanding what brekkie was. Though her big brothers didn't use Aussie slang much, she knew enough to not be confused.

It takes Korey a minute to process what the boys said, then he nods, figuring it out.

"Oh, no problem! I thought you'd all like eggs,
fruit and toast for your first day of school breakfast." Korey answers.

"Guys, you know it confuses him when you speak in Australian words." Tyler tells his kids with a giggle.

"Oh, sorry, Uncle Korey!" Archer apologizes to Korey.

"Sorry, Uncle Korey!" Sparrow says to Archer with a giggle.

"That's okay! It's good to know." Korey accepts the boys apology with a big grin.

Korey knows that the boys know Aussie slang from their dad, Troye.

After they both finish eating their breakfast, the boys happily run upstairs to go get dressed and ready for their first day of third grade!

Last night the boys picked out their first day outfits! The boys will be wearing the same polo shirt, just in different colors.

The boys sometimes like to match their outfits and today is one of those days! The boys also chose some dark jeans to go with their polos.

Tyler cleans up from breakfast while he holds Hazel in his other arm. Korey chuckles at him and smiles at his two favorite people.

"You know you don't have to do everything, Ty,
you do so much!" Korey tells his partner.

Tyler nods and hands the little girl to her father, and he laughs too.

"Sorry! Guess I got used to that, force of habit." Tyler says, then packs up the boys' lunches while they're still getting dressed and ready.

Korey gets Hazel dressed into clean clothes, since she got ketchup on her shirt.

Archer and Sparrow pack their backpacks up and talk about how class will be.

"I heard Mrs. Ricciuti is an awesome teacher and is really fun!" Archer says as he puts his backpack on while Sparrow fixes his hair.

"That's what I heard too! All of our teachers so far have been really fun and cool! I wonder who's going to be in our class?" Sparrow asks Archer.

"I don't know but I know we will see everybody at lunch and recess!" Archer says with a smile and Sparrow smiles too.

Meanwhile downstairs, Korey is keeping Hazel occupied while Tyler finishes making the boys lunches.

"Da da!" Hazel says, pointing at Crouton's full toy basket.

"I see it baby! Do you see all of Crouton's toys?" Korey asks Hazel and Hazel smiles and claps her hands.

"Mama didn't do your hair! Uh oh! Let me fix it." Korey says as he bends down to Hazel's level and fixes Hazel's little braid.

Hazel has a ton of dark hair just like Korey, however she still has crystal blue eyes like Tyler.

"Troye is on his way over!" Tyler says to Korey as he walks over to Korey and Hazel.

Every school year, Troye comes over to help send the boys off to school. This year, the boys will be taking the school bus. The boys can't wait to ride the school bus and Tyler is pretty happy too because he doesn't have to rush out of the house.

"Unc Toy! Unc Toy!" Hazel says as she dances happily.

"Yeah! Uncle Troye! Are you excited to see him?" Tyler says to Hazel and Hazel smiles at Tyler and Korey.

Hazel nods, picking up two playing blocks and banging them together rhythmically.

"You are a little musical girl just like your brothers! Aren't you?" Korey asks his daughter.

"Ya!" The little girl agrees loudly.

"Mom, we're ready to go!" The twins both say as they run downstairs.

"Good! Can we take some pictures before Dad
comes?" Tyler asks the boys.

Sparrow looks hesitantly at Tyler.

"I don't really want pictures taken of me currently." Sparrow says, having an insecure moment.

"You look very handsome today and so do you Archer!" Tyler says to Sparrow and archer.

"Thank you, Mom!" Archer says as he spins around and dances a little, causing Hazel to dance too.

"Thanks, Mom." Sparrow says with a small smile. 

"Can we maybe make a deal?" Tyler asks Sparrow

"What kind of deal?" Sparrow asks Tyler curiously.

"The deal is I take three pictures of you. One of just you, one with your first day of school board and one with Archer. And then I won't post them because I know you don't want your picture taken. The first day of third grade only happens once so I want them for the memories." Tyler says to Sparrow.

Sparrow considers Tyler's words, then nods in agreement.

"Okay, mom. Thanks." Sparrow tells him happily.

"You're welcome! It's important to respect people." Tyler says back.

"Mom, can I have my single photo with the school board posted? Just that one?" Archer questions.

Archer mostly didn't mind pictures being taken or posted.

"If that's what you want, Archer. Okay!, let's get started." Tyler agrees and says.

Hazel looks up at Tyler again, looking excited.

"Mama, me too!" Hazel asks for her picture to be taken.

Hazel loved doing anything her big brothers
did.

"Of course, baby! But you won't be going to
school with Archie and Sparrow. You hang out
with me and Daddy." Tyler tells Hazel, which
causes her to start fussing and whimpering, on
the verge of tears.

"Uh oh! Don't cry! Don't cry!" Korey says as he picks up Hazel and holds her close, calming her down instantly.

Korey doesn't seem to realize it yet but Hazel is very much a Daddy's girl. Korey spoils her rotten, which Tyler completely understands. Tyler spoiled the crazy likes crazy when they were Hazel's age.

"It's okay, princess. You are going to have a fun day with Mama and Uncle Troye!" Korey says happily.

"And Da da!" Hazel says as she holds onto Korey,

"And me that's right." Korey says as Tyler smiles at the duo together.

"Okay! Let's take some pictures!" Tyler says as Archer and Sparrow each pose for their first day of school pictures.

The boys both smile, and hold out their school boards, as Tyler takes their pictures. After, they do individual photos, and Tyler shows Archer his picture that he requested be posted.

"Yeah, I like how it looks! You can post that one of me." Archer tells Tyler.

"Okay, great. And the rest I won't post." Tyler
explains.

Hazel wriggles out from Korey's arms, remembering she wanted to take pictures too. The toddler slides down and runs over to pose with her brothers.

"Hazel, you can stand next to me! Archeroo, she wants a photo with us." Sparrow tells his sister and then brother.

"Oops, I forgot! Sorry, I'm coming!" Archer says and does some more poses with his siblings.

"Smile!" Korey coos, especially to Hazel.

"Cheese!" Archer and Sparrow say.

"Eeee!" Hazel imitates them and smiles.

"So cute!" Tyler says as he takes a few pictures.

"Hazel smiles just like you do." Korey says as he giggles.

"You think so?" Tyler asks Korey and Korey nods.

Archer and Sparrow both hug Hazel, causing Hazel to smile ear to ear.

Just then, the door bell rings, causing Crouton to bark loudly.

"It must be Troye." Korey says as Archer and Sparrow both get excited to see their dad!

Hazel, Archer and Sparrow all hurry over to the door, the girl following because them being excited to see Troye makes her excited.

"Unc Toy! Unc Toy! Toy!" Hazel chants, earning a laugh from her family.

Tyler lets Troye in and greets him, and Crouton wags his tail.

"Hey, everyone! How's it going?" Troye asks.

"Great! We just took first day of school pictures!" Archer tells his dad.

"Good! And hello, Hazel! I swear, you're on a
growth spurt!" Troye says and bends down to the toddler's level.

"I think she has! She's been taking longer naps." Korey says with a chuckle.

"Dad! Archer and I got polos to wear today! They aren't the same color because we didn't want to match!" Sparrow says as Troye giggles.

"I like them! They make you two look so much  older!" Troye says to Sparrow and Archer.

"That's what I said!" Tyler says with a grin.

"Woof!" Crouton barks happily.

"And hello Crouton! I didn't forget about you." Troye says, petting Crouton's head.

"You should have brought Nash!" Archer says as he flaps his arms in excitement.

"I should have! But he hates the sound of school buses remember?" Troye says to the boys.

"Oh that's right! Nash hates school buses while Crouton wants to join us!" Sparrow says to Troye.

"Yep! Opposite personalities, those dogs." Troye aughs.

"Doggy say woof! Woof, woof!" Hazel says,
imitating Crouton.

"That's right, Hazey!" Korey says and smiles
"Archer and I taught her animal noises." Sparrow says proudly.

"That's great!" Troye replies.

Tyler puts a leash on Crouton and gives it to
Troye, who happily takes it. Tyler also lifts up Hazel and holds her on his hip,

"Say bye-bye to Archer, Sparrow and Uncle
Troye." Tyler says gently.

Hazel looks happy at first, saying bye bye and
waving, but then realises her brothers are
actually going to school. Then she frowns.

"It's okay, honey, they'll come back later." Tyler
comforts. Hazel wasn't used to the boys leaving during the day, since it had been summer break.

"Let's all walk to the bus stop together! Would you like to do that, Hazey?" Korey says, not wanting Hazel to cry.

"Ya!" Hazel says, clapping her hands with excitement.

"Let's do that! I don't think you ever saw a school bus before!" Tyler says as he and Korey follow Troye, Archer and Sparrow.

Troye, Crouton, Sparrow, Archer, Tyler, Hazel, and Korey all walk over to the corner of the neighborhood where the school bus will arrive. There are a few other children and their parents standing around, waiting for the school bus to arrive.

Archer looks shy around the other kids, but he
smiles anyway and puts on his mask. His brother also puts a mask on, to be safe.

Since Hazel was too young to wear a mask, at
least for long periods of time, the boys always did for school and going out places.

Hazel looks around eagerly, confused about all
the people nearby.

"Everyone's waiting for the bus, Hazel. They all
will get on and go to school!" Korey tries to
explain, as the girl hugs Tyler tightly.

"Ooh." the toddler coos in interest.

Ten minutes later, the school bus rolls up, and Hazel claps, unsure what reaction to have.

"Look, Hazey! There's the school bus!" Tyler says to Hazel and Hazel smiles.

"Bye, Mom! Bye, Dad! Bye, Hazey! Bye, Korey!" Archer and Sparrow both say in unison to Tyler, Troye, Hazel and Korey as they quickly hug each of them.

Archer and Sparrow also give Hazel some kisses, something Hazel absolutely loves.

"Bye! Be safe at school!" Troye says and smiles.

Hazel giggles and waves goodbye, and turns to face Korey.

"Dada, 'parrow an' arhee go bye-bye!" Hazel says, a little confused but not upset.

"They did! But they'll come back later." Korey explains with a smile.

"Let's take Crouton for a walk before heading back home!" Tyler says to Hazel and Hazel gets excited because she loves walk.

"Maybe we can go get something to eat out too. Hazel already ate but I'm sure she'll want something if we get something." Korey says with a grin.

"Or steal our food!" Tyler says with a chuckle, setting down Hazel to walk around some.

Korey holds Crouton's leash and Tyler's hand while Troye keeps up with Hazel. Eventually, Hazel holds Troye's hand as they walk.

"Sooooo." Tyler says wanting to start a conversation with Troye about his personal life.

"So what?" Troye says already what Tyler is probably going to ask.

"Tell us about you and Connor! You have been super quiet about it." Tyler says playfully to his ex.

Despite being former lovers and now co-parents, Tyler and Troye have a very good relationship. They can talk about just about anything but Troye has always been quiet about his love life.

Almost a year after Tyler and Troye broke up, Troye and fellow YouTuber Connor Franta began to date. They dated for two years before breaking up. Troye dated a few other people after Connor, but it wasn't the same. Meanwhile, Connor hasn't dated anyone and has been busy working on his business endeavors and becoming a father, adopting a sibling trio from foster care.

"Well, we have been talking again." Troye says as he looks down at Hazel seeing if she wants to be picked up and she does.

Troye grunts as he picks her up and Hazel hugs him tightly.

"What kind of talking?" Korey asks, wanting more info.

"Right, don't leave us hanging at 8am!" Tyler says with his loud chuckle he has.

Tyler already knows about the Troye and Connor date because Connor and Tyler are close friends, despite Troye being in the mix.

"Just talking about good times and our lives lately with kids... and how much we've missed each other. So the other night we went on a date. It was fun, nothing crazy. But we kissed before leaving each other." Troye says to Tyler and Korey.

"Oh lord I knew it! I told ya, Korey!" Tyler says playfully to Korey.

"Tyler acts like he is a match maker!" Korey says as he cleans up Crouton's poop.

"No, I just knew when people liked each other. I've always been like that." Tyler says with some playful sass.

"But yet you two couldn't figure it out until almost two years ago?" Troye asks with some sass.

"Oh shush!" Tyler says to Troye and Hazel giggles.

"Soooo, what now?" Korey asks Troye.

"Well, is it weird that I want to be with him again? Because I do." Troye asks Korey and Tyler.

"Of course not! You two really loved each other and I was sad for the both of you. It was different with us, we knew we wouldn't work out and we are much better as friends. I mean look at us, I'm hanging out with my two baby daddies and no arguing!" Tyler says as he, Korey and Troye laughs.

"I would just take it slow with Connor if you guys decided to date again. Especially since you both have kids and that they aren't babies, they know what's going on. I mean Archer and Sparrow were confused after you and Jacob broke up." Korey says to Troye.

"Well, I never told the boys we were dating just friends but I know it was still confusing for them." Troye says as Hazel plays with his earrings.

Troye gently pried Hazel's hands away from his earrings, letting her play with his hand instead.

"Yeah, I think you could make it work! Maybe try to hang out some more and see how you feel. If you had fun, I'm sure Connor enjoyed it." Tyler chimes in.

The group walk around some more as the
continue talking, and Troye smiles as he playfully tickles Hazel.

"You're right. Thanks for the advice, guys." Troye says to his friends.

"You're welcome!" Korey says with a smile.

"You're welcome, you know Korey and I are here for you." Tyler says with a grin.

"Mama, I wan' water." Hazel says to Tyler as she looks at him.

Korey opens up the diaper bag that's on his back, just like a backpack and hands it to Tyler.

"Here you go, princess." Tyler says happily to Hazel.

"Tank tank." Hazel says as she sips on her water.

"You are very welcome!" Tyler says with a grin at Hazel.

"I wonder how Connor is right now." Troye says softly as Hazel hugs him again.

"Aww, you miss him." Korey says, causing Troye to blush.

"I do. I always did. I'm glad we finally became friends after not talking for a few years." Troye says to Korey and Korey smiles.

"I'm sure he's busy with the kids going to school. He told me his parents were gonna be in town to be there. And you'll get him back, trust me." Tyler says with a wink, causing Korey to chuckle.

Eventually, they get back to Tyler's house, and
decide to wait before getting food, Korey
suggests taking the boys - and Hazel - out for a treat afterwards.

"That sounds good, I'm sure the boys will love
that." Tyler agrees, and Troye nods as he sets the little girl down.

Hazel babbles and throws some toys for Crouton to fetch, and to her delight, the dog does just that.

"Woof! Woof!" Hazel imitates when Crouton
barks.

Tyler, Korey and Troye chuckle and smile at Hazel.

Tyler, Korey, Hazel and Troye all hang out for a few hours until the school bus arrives!

Later, the four of them say goodbye to Crouton and walk to the bus stop pick up and drop off area, where Archer and Sparrow jump off and run to their family.

"Hello!" Troye says happily as Sparrow hugs him.

"Hi, Dad! Hi, Mom, Uncle Korey and Hazel!" The twins say at the same time, Archer sanitizing his hands before lifting up his little sister.

"Arder!" Hazel says to her big brother.

"You're heavy, Hazel! Did you grow while we were at school?" Archer jokes.

"Ya!" Hazel says, not understanding the joke, which earns a laugh from Sparrow and Archer.

"Hi, Hazey!" Sparrow says as he kisses her
chubby cheek while Archer holds her.

"Hi, Hazey!" Archer says as he tickles Hazel's tummy.

"How was third grade?" Troye asks Archer and Sparrow.

"Fun! Our teacher is awesome!" Sparrow says happily.

"Yeah! We are going to have a class pet! We will have a vote in a few weeks on what the pet will be!" Archer says with a cheeky grin.

"That's really cool!" Troye nods, smiling.

"Yes! I hope it's a hamster or guinea pig." Sparrow agrees.

"It would be cool if we got a bunny!" Archer giggles.

Tyler and Korey smile at the kids as they start walking back, Hazel holding Sparrow's hand as she walks too, both parents asking more about how school went.

Before they get home, Tyler stops and so does
everyone else.

"How about we go get a treat since it went so well? What do you guys want?" Tyler asks.

"McDonald's!" Archer and Sparrow both say with cheeky smiles.

"Appy meal!" Hazel yells in excitement.

"Okay, then! We'll go get McDonald's!" Tyler says in agreement, smiling at his kids all being excited.

Hazel claps her hands eagerly.

Tyler, Korey, Troye, Archer, Sparrow and Hazel all go in the house and freshen up before heading to McDonald's to celebrate the first day of school! :)
