Chiron led us to the cabins. 

"These cabins were all built to shelter demigods. Each has a symbol corresponding with a god or goddess. The demigod child of that god or goddess lives in that cabin. I will usher you to the Hermes cabin for now, the one with the caduceus. Enjoy your sodas."

The centaur pushed us towards the cabins.

We wandered towards the one with a twining serpent over a staff. There were kids hanging out over at it.

Alex knocked on the door. I took a gander at the surrounding cabins.

A kid chatting with his friend snorted and laughed at us.

"Newbies?" he asked.

"Uh...yeah. I'm Alex, and this is Lil." Alex said. The kid was our age. 

"Lil? Like, Lil Wayne?" the other kid asked. I rolled my eyes.

"Pfft, shut up Drake. Anyway, you can just go on in." Kid Uno told me. Drake punched his shoulder.

Alex threw me a glance and pushed open the door.

It was like a raging frat party. There were kids everywhere, stuff everywhere. We gingerly stepped inside and pushed ourselves into a corner.

We didn't talk. We just...pondered. 

Some kid blew a whistle and the talking came to a halt.

"Alright Hermes, listen up!" Someone called from the front of the cabin.

"We got a capture the flag today! We gotta shape up, NOW!" A girl's voice yelled.

"Hey! That's Butch girl-I mean, Cassandra!" I whispered to Alex. She put her finger to her lips.

Everyone shouted, "Yes Cassandra!"

Cassandra blew her whistle again.
