[REQUEST] Constantly Freaking Out (Savanaclaw)

This was requested by TheConvertedOne! Sorry for the nearly 3 month wait.

A/N: I didn't understand this request originally, but I think it's with a reader that has severe anxiety (which can be caused by untreated ADHD). Therefore, I went with that.

A/N 2: Apologies for the wait y'all, senior year along with the various other creative projects going on in my life I did Not have the time to work on my fics as much as I did in the summer. Winter break's soon tho, so if I don't completely hyperfocus on my research paper and/or other creative projects (some will be posted on Wattpad) I'll try to finish all my requests. Also I finished writing this in GDocs at exactly 12:00 PM give or take a few seconds on Tuesday which I find funny.

Content/Trigger Warnings: Anxiety attacks, panic attacks, Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria.

Leona Kingscholar

While this is something Leona wouldn't particularly care for, he'll realise how much it's affecting you when he hears the students of Savanaclaw talking about it. While he would investigate himself, he probably caused you a panic attack or a mental breakdown when you accidentally stepped on his tail.

He knows he can't do much, especially since he doesn't know much about how to comfort others. The best thing he can really do is mention it to Crowley, since he doesn't want to risk scaring you when you're already on the verge of a panic attack everyday.

Ruggie Bucchi

Due to living in the slums, Ruggie understands how you'd be constantly anxious. Trying to live life while constantly living with fear of being jumped is something he had to live with throughout his whole life, and even somewhat into NRC.

However, he notices that the constant anxiety interferes with even eating in the cafeteria. That's when he knew something was wrong. He decides to ask around, specifically asking classmates of yours in his dorm. He found out that this also applied to the classroom, as they say you frequently struggled to focus. He knew he had to do something, but how? He knew you didn't trust him due to the events at the school's Magift tournament, but he was concerned mostly as your senior and the fact that your anxiety is interfering with your studies gives him justification to ask you what's wrong.

The best way for him, at least in his mind, was to ask when you were in a slightly calmer state. When he saw you in the library, he decided that was a good opportunity to pop the question. He asked to sit next to you, then asked straight-on, "I've noticed you seem very anxious, do you need anything?"

He listened to you vent about being unsure about how you'd be able to survive in this world, the possibility of failing and ending up in the streets with nowhere to go, and that since you're in a different world with no way back you had no access to your medications. Ruggie let you vent to him, listening to your troubles and what was causing your anxiety. While he wanted to just let you vent more, he knew that something needed to be done. Specifically, that it needed to be mentioned to the headmaster.

"The Headmaster's your guardian, right? I think you should mention this to him to make sure you can access medications that'll help you. If you want me to, I'll come with you." Luckily, this didn't cause a panic attack. In fact, Ruggie mentioning it made something click in your brain. After talking to the headmaster, Ruggie reminded you that if you feel stressed, that he'll try his best to comfort you to the best of his ability.

Jack Howl

Given how he's in the same year as you, he likely knows more about your anxiety and how it's shown. Due to his general scary vibe and how tall he is though, he's hesitant about coming to you directly. He's more likely to ask Deuce to check on you than asking you himself.

Given how he's an older brother, Jack likely knows a few ways to help comfort people. If he ever plans on trying to comfort you directly, he's likely to have Deuce there as well. Jack's aware that you might not trust him at first, he's fine with that. Regardless, he wants to be someone you can go to if you need a shoulder to cry on or just need someone to hold you gently for a little while, even if it takes a bit to get to that point.

When you do reach that point in friendship, he's not going to ask you for any favors, let alone force you to explain what's causing your anxiety. Jack knows that the best way to have you tell him about your anxiety is if you're comfortable with him enough to tell him. Like the others, he'll bring it up to Crowley, but also some of your teachers since you're likely closer to them.

If anything, Jack wants to help you. If what's causing your anxiety is related to something like grades, trying to get things done but struggling to figure out where to start, or just the fact that you want someone in this world that you can vent to without any bias, he'll do his best to do that. If it's related to something like a lack of medication, a bigger issue like an undiagnosed disability/health issue, or trying to find your place in Twisted Wonderland, Jack might need to ask Crowley for assistance. Regardless, he'll help in any way he can.

(Btw I now have a writing blog on Tumblr, it's skelswritingcorner. I posted two of my Autistic!MC headcanons on there along with some Genshin Impact fics)
