A/N: Just like the other versions, there will be spoilers for the main story. Like the Savanaclaw version, there will be topics that were previously unmentioned in the previous versions. The topics will be masking and accommodating (TW for bullying and PTSD). Also, by the time I’ve written this I finished the Octavinelle arc around a week or two prior so my memory’s slightly blurry.

Azul Ashengrotto

He probably did some research beforehand, or heard through the tweels (who heard through other students). If anything, he will still be as courteous as ever. He’s mostly going to send out the tweels to gather information to relay to him, document it, then assess the best way to talk to her to get a possible contract. As one of the dorm leaders, he’s also likely to find out she’s autistic through Riddle or Leona.

Regardless of how he finds out, one of the first things on his mind is to learn more about autism (if he can find any information beyond the people who interact with her) or about her specifically. After he gathers enough information, he’s going to consider accommodating her the best he can. Actually, he might get a little too greedy about this. After the final exams (the anemone boogaloo with Ace, Deuce and Grim), he’s probably not just using the shared braincell trio as workers; he’s going to use them to figure out more about her. In fact, he might even add in his contracts with the three that they have to give Azul information about MC.

He’s going to be extremely thorough with his research, it’s almost baffling. However, one thing he will be stumped on is how she is, quote unquote, “Not acting like herself.” If he looks further into this (which he likely will), he’ll notice she’s acting similarly to the people she’s closest to, mainly Deuce. He’s probably going to send out Jade to use Shock the Heart to figure out the truth.

After he relays that MC is going through burnout, Azul might try to help her relax (and get a possible contract out of it). This could be seen as him simping for MC, though (I don’t call him OctoSimp without reason y’all). Don’t worry, he’s still trying to get a contract.

Actually, the counteroffer of MC will be something he didn’t expect. Her argument being that she’s the only girl at Night Raven College...she wagered the coochie. That's gonna be a shocker to everyone. Azul being slack jawed, Jack looking at MC in complete horror, Jade face palming and Floyd asking what a coochie is. Just a total disaster of a contract. She doesn’t back down at all so he tries to negotiate by replacing the offer with the dorm she’s staying at. Sneaky dastard.

When he overblots, MC without fear strikes again (cough cough TENTACLES). She’s probably going to compliment his tentacles and try to use anger calming techniques. Stuff like taking a deep breath in through the nose and out the mouth. Doesn’t work? Squish his face into her boobs. She has to be pried off forcefully so the dudes can fight him.

Post-overblot, when Azul tells MC about being bullied in the past, he will be surprised when she talks about the experiences of her brother being bullied as well and the permanent trauma it caused. He quickly silences her when she tries to apologise for it, telling MC that he appreciates her sympathy.

After that, he tries to help accommodate her whenever he can. He’ll try to make a safe space for her whether it be in her own dorm, Monstro Lounge, or even somewhere on the main campus.

Jade Leech

Given how he’s in the same class as Riddle, he likely coaxed some information about MC from him. Stuff like her stims, special interests, or general behavior. He is a gentleman after all, he wouldn’t want to make her uncomfortable.

When Azul sends him out to figure out why she’s quote unquote not acting like herself, he’s going to try to gently coax the information out of her. Jade doesn’t really want to hurt her if he can help it. Even if he were to use Shock the Heart, the fact that MC avoids eye contact means it will be a struggle to use his unique magic on her. If he knows her special interest, he might try to use that to help figure it out.

For example, if her special interest is something along the lines of writing or drawing, he might ask if she’s been writing or drawing lately. If she replies that she hasn’t been due to a lack of motivation to do so, he’ll ask her why that is. Eventually, she’s going to tell Jade that she’s been going through burnout due to the exam season, so it’ll take a bit for her to bounce back to normal.

Jade’s going to relay this to Azul, that was why he was asking in the first place. However, he might prompt her to info dump just because he has the time. He likely enjoys seeing her smile while she babbles on about something like what mused her that day or random facts about animals.

When she goes to the Coral Sea with Ace, Deuce, Grim and Jack; he and Floyd notice how interested she is about everything. Things that they likely don’t think about or wonder about once in a while, he and Floyd notice that it fascinates her. Even their merman selves fascinate her to no end, noticing how she mutters about how she’s never seen merfolk outside of art and stories. They might consider bringing her back when she’s not there on contract to show her around their homeland (well… home sea).

After the Overblot fight is said and done, Jade will likely help Azul when it comes to accommodating her. However, it will be different from how Azul does it. Unlike him, who will try to make a safe space, Jade will provide sensory tools for her. Things like hearing protection and squishy toys, just say the word.

Floyd Leech (uhhhhhhhhhh fuck it)

The only thing preventing him from getting information from Riddle is the fact that he avoids Floyd like the plague, so he has to rely on Jade to get information out of Riddle. However, he will find his little koebi-chan interesting, and wants to learn more.

“Nene Koebi-chan~ Tell me more about (MC’s special interest).” Floyd would probably say this when trying to get MC to info dump. It’s actually quite effective if her babbling says anything. Just like his twin, he enjoys prompting her to info dump whenever he has the time.

Just like Jade, he will be surprised about how interested MC is about the Coral Sea when she visits, and when she’s extremely fascinated about his and Jade’s merman forms. He’s likely the one who brings up taking her back themselves due to her interest.

When it comes to sensory stuff, he’s likely not the kind of person to bring her sensory tools. He’s more likely to squeeze her if he notices if she’s stressed. He’ll do it in a heartbeat if she asks him to squish her. It all depends on if he notices first and decides to ask her or she goes up to him and asks to be squished.

However, he might get jealous if he sees someone else squishing her instead of himself (Jack for example). He might try to start a little scuffle before MC tells them that they can both squish her at the same time, or that if they fight she’s going to find someone else to squish her.
