JANUARY 27TH

Jeongguk view

With a deep sigh, Jeongguk entered his office just after returning from itaewon.

The first thing that caught his eye was the single rose, kept in a clear vase, sat on his desk. He frowned, picking up the flower to see it was fake and he wondered who had put it in his office.

He sat down and as he did so the door opened. Taehyung walked in with a big smile, immediately running up to Jeongguk.

"you're back." Taehyung smiled, voice a little shy as he fiddled with his fingers.

Jeongguk smiled, pulling the boy onto his lap. "mhm." he hummed, taking in Taehyungs scent. "where did you find that rose?" Jeongguk asked.

"how did you know i bought it?" taehyung asked surprised.

Jeongguk raised a brow. "who else would by me a flower?" he tickled taehyungs side making the boy squirm and giggle.

"okay." taehyung giggled, getting Jeongguk to stop his tickling. "i wanted to buy it for you." he admitted shyly.

"thank you." Jeongguk whispered, ducking his head to place a kiss to taehyungs nape.

"y-you're welcome." taehyung stuttered as Jeongguk continued kissing his neck, lips gradually moving up his jaw.

Jeongguk cupped taehyungs cheek, then slowly leaned in, kissing the boy softly.

"what are your plans for the rest of the day?" Jeongguk asked.

"uhm, me and seokjin are trying out a new recipe for dinner!" taehyung exclaimed, broadly smiling in excitement.

Jeongguk chuckled. "good. have you eaten lunch?"

"yup. i made noodles." taehyung replied, fiddling with the rose as he took it out of the vase to admire.

"hey gguk?" taehyung spoke after a peaceful moment of silence.

"yes, baby?" jeongguk asked, hand rubbing taehyungs thigh.

"do you think i should get a job?"

"do you want one?" jeongguk asked.

"w-well only because im always at home." taehyung pouted.

"so you're bored." jeongguk nodded his head, understanding.

"you know, i'd love to be a nursery teacher gguk. i love kids." taehyung smiled.

"then whats stopping you?" jeongguk frowned.

"the committment." taehyung sighed. "i dont think im ready for it. thats why i chose to work in a firm."

"maybe you could find a hobby. and money wise, you wont have to worry at all. you have me." jeongguk smiled. 

"well i have been learning how to cook. seokjin hyung is teaching me."

"then you should focus on that, petal." jeongguk kissed the boys cheek.

Taehyung smiled, nodding his head. "thank you gguk. i l-love you." he said, still timid when it comes to saying the three words.

"i love you, tae." jeongguk smiled.

"hm." taehyung suddenly giggled out of nowhere. "this reminds me of that disney movie." he said, referring to the rose he was holding.

Jeongguk frowned. "which one?"

"beauty and the beast."

"oh." jeongguk raised his brows.

"gguk, you remind me of the beast." taehyung giggled.

"the beast?" jeongguk scoffed.

Taehyung nodded. "and i-im b-belle." he stated shyly, imagining him and jeongguk as the said characters in the movie, causing him to blush.

Jeongguk smiled, admiring taehyungs state with heart eyes.

Taehyung put the rose back, before looking at jeongguk again. "you have to work dont you?" he sighed in sadness, deflated at the fact that jeongguk was busy for the next few hours.

Jeongguk nodded but still held taehyung tighter. "want you to stay." he murmured, mouth against taehyungs neck causing his words to come out muffled.

"cant i stay for a little?" taehyung huffed.

"are you forgetting that you need to help seokjin?" jeongguk chuckled.

Taehyung whined, wanting to be with jeongguk.

"dont worry, baby. we have the whole evening together. its okay."  jeongguk muttered, caressing the boys thighs.

Taehyung nodded his head, pouting. "okay." he mumbled.

Jeongguk kissed him deeply, taehyung letting out a soft moan at the sudden action. "good boy." jeongguk muttered when they pulled away.

Taehyung held his tummy, feeling the butterflies and his cheeks turned a dark red.

Jeongguk smiled when taehyung slowly got up and pattered out of the room solemnly.

He took one last glance at the rose, shaking his head with a soft chuckle.

Taehyung view

Turns out Taehyung enjoyed cooking more than he thought.

Right now he was with seokjin, learning how to make an italian dish of pasta.

And he couldnt help but munch on the peppers that were supposed to be for the food.

"hyung try the sauce!" Taehyung exclaimed, holding out the spoon for seokjin.

"wow tae." seokjins eyes went wide on trying it, giving the younger boy a thumbs up. "you'll be an expert in no time."

Taehyung chuckled. "because you're teaching me."

"mhm. maybe you should help me everyday. do you want to?" seokjin asked.

Taehyung gasped, quickly turning around from the stove. He looked at seokjin in surprise. "really? you'll let me?" he gasped.

"of course. i love having you help me in the kitchen. you wont get bored either." seokjin smiled.

Taehyung squealed. "thank you so much hyung."

"dont worry about it." seokjin chuckled.

It was nine pm and taehyung was in jeongguks room, on his bed, currently watching a movie with his teddy cuddled to his chest.

It had been playing for an hour now and taehyung was starting to feel sleepy but he wanted to stay awake until jeongguk came back home.

Then the door to the room opened and taehyung smiled lazily, lidded eyes flickering up to see jeongguk entering the room.

"ggukie." taehyung mumbled.

"hey, petal." jeongguk smiled lightly, leaning over the laptop to place a kiss to taehyungs lips.

Jeongguk went into the bathroom and cleaned up, then walked over to the bed and slipped inside the blanket, instantly wrapping his arms around taehyung.

"what's my baby watching?" jeongguk asked, leaning his chin on taehyungs shoulder so he could also watch the movie.

"beauty and the beast." taehyung giggled lightly.

"oh? i wonder what made you choose that." jeongguk teased.

"how was your mission ggu?" taehyung asked.

"succesful." jeongguk replied. "your pasta was nice. i tried some."

"i think im going to help seokjin hyung more often." taehyung smiled.

"yeah? thats good, baby." jeongguk kissed taehyungs exposed shoulder.

"look, the best part is coming!" taehyung gasped quietly, excited for the part where the beast transforms.

Jeongguk silently cooed at taehyungs cuteness but made a mental note to choose the movies from now on because disney just did not entertain him anymore.

But then again, if it was with taehyung he didnt care.
