Next morning Neil rubbing his eyes stretched his arm over avni to side table. He got hold of phone which was continuously ringing past last 10 minutes. Neil kept the phone near his ears and spoke on sleepy voice.

Neil : hello!

Soon as Neil heard other side voice his sleep flew away and jerkingly sat up making avni startled too. Avni opens eyes and saw Neil's worried face. She sat up and looks at him.

Avni : husband why do you look worried?

Neil composing himself looks at avni.

Neil : love we need to rush to police station.

Avni's eyes widen hearing Neil.

Avni: Neil what are you saying? Police station! How could you forget we are going on family vacation today Neil?

Neil cups Avni's face.

Neil : love I haven't forgotten anything but it's emergency in police station. We have to leave immediately. I'm going to fresh up in guest room. You also get freshened up. Okay!

Avni worriedly nodded her head and climbs down the bed. She rushed to washroom taking her clothes. Whereas Neil ruffling his hair and keeping their phone on charging left the room to guest room with his stuff.

Neil freshening himself comes back to the room and saw avni getting ready. He simply walks to her and pulls the side drawer. He took his watch, handkerchief, his police cap.

He wore the watch and stares at avni who filled her hairline with vermillion. A small appeared on his face. Neil wearing his watch shoved handkerchief in his pocket before calling Avni's name out.

Neil : love are you ready?

Avni lifts her head up and looks at Neil.

Avni : just give me few minutes. I am almost done.

Neil nodded his head and making his way to bed side picks his phone up and checked if there was any message or not.

Neil checked the message and kept his phone in his pocket. He looks up and saw avni collecting her things up.

Avni comes to Neil with her police cap and stick. Neil cupping her face dropped small kiss on her forehead.

Neil : let's go!

Avni nodded her head. Neil also took his cap and stick. They walked out of their room while thinking what could be emergency in the police department.

As they walked down the stairs they could hear other family members voices. They looked at each before taking the last steps. Bebe was the first  one to notice them. She was confused why AvNeil was in police uniform when they supposed to go on vacation.

Bebe : Tillu.. avni..

Bebe's voice too everyone's attention who had same expression as Bebe.

Neil : Bebe..I mean.. we won't be able to join you guys. Actually there is some emergency in the department.

Swetha : tillu it's okay! Duty comes first. We will cancel the vacation. I'll inform others too.

Swetha took her phone to call others but Neil snatched the phone.

Neil : no mom, you can't cancel the vacation. You guys go and enjoy. Please for us.

Prakash : but Neil how can we enjoy you both are not coming with us?

Avni : papa ji please.. you won't cancel the plan. You all deserve break from work. Please for us.

Prakash looks at Bebe who blinks her eyes.

Bebe : next time you both will join us.. I won't hear any excuses of yours.

Neil bobbed his head with smile. He then looks at his sisters whose mood lightly off. Neil walking to them held their hands.

Neil : sorry! I won't join but promise you both will enjoy yourself.. and do miss me there.

Meher and Ananya hugs Neil.

Meher : we will miss you Bhai!

Neil patted her head then looks at avni who was smiling at them.

Neil: we should leave!

Avni nodded her head and bidding bye to their family left for police station.

In no time they reached to police station. They coming out of the car went inside when they heard all the constables and officers clapping for them. Everyone congratulated them for new beginning. AvNeil thanking them moves to commissioner sir cabin where he was waiting for them along with Dd and suhneria.

They enters inside the cabin and saw Dd, suhneria and commissioner sir.

Neil : good morning sir!

Commissioner sir looks at them gestures them to take seat. Avneil sat down.

Neil : sir what's the emergency?

Commissioner sir passed the file to Neil who went through the file and looks at commissioner sir.

Neil : sir.. this..

Commissioner sir : yes... in every department this kind of cases are being reported. I didn't had any other option rather calling you both for the mission.. Neil this case I want you and avni to handle. You both will handle the case. I want every details about the person who is behind all the girls.

Neil : sir we are ready for this mission.. can I get pervious record of this case?

Commissioner sir : sure! Give me few minutes.

Neil nodded his head and commissioner sir brought few more files and passed to AvNeil. They discussing the case went to Neil's cabin.

Neil sitting on his chair looks at dd.

Neil : dd I want last case filed against this person.

Dd : sir I can get you that by afternoon.

Neil : good! And suhneria I want you find about this person location.

Suhneria nodding her head left the room leaving Neil and avni. Even dd excusing himself went out of the room.

Neil looks at avni who was engrossed in the file. He confusingly stares her till their eyes met.

Neil broke the eye lock.

Neil : do you know how are going to tackle this case?

Avni : I don't know Neil.. but I feel connected to this case.. it feels so familiar to me..

Neil held her hand in his.

Neil : love are you hiding something?

Avni : Neil I'm not hiding anything but this name.. I don't know why does it sound so familiar. I have heard this name somewhere.

Neil : love, you might be overthinking..don't think too much about this.. our concentration should be finding this person who is behind human trafficking.

Avni : maybe you're right Neil.. can I see the file?

She pointed the file which Neil was reading. Neil nodding his head passed the file to avni who taking the file went through the file.. as she went through the file her expression change. Neil noticed every action of Avni.

Neil was about say word but before that avni closing the file got up and walked out of the cabin leaving Neil confuse.

Neil was about to follow avni but the remembered something.. he took his phone out and called dd.

Neil : hello dd! Where are you?

Dd : Neil sir I'm just on way to your cabin!

Neil : okay! Come quickly!

Neil hanging the call thought why did avni went out of his cabin. At the same time dd comes and brought the file.

Dd : Neil sir.. this was last case reported.

Neil took the file and starts reading. He close the file and looks at dd.

Neil : it can't be coincidence all the girls are missing from college.. dd there must be rework behind this. I want you to find about these girls whose parents have cases filed.

Dd : okay sir!

Neil took the file again and read it when something crossed over his head. He looks at dd.

Neil : dd where is the file where 24 years accident took place?

Dd : sir how is this connected? 24 years ago accident case is closed.

Neil : I need that file right now on my desk.

Dd : okay sir! I'll get the file..

Dd left the cabin whereas Neil keeping his finger on his chin thought.

Neil : how can it be possible? How?

Neil snaps his head at the person who entered in the cabin. Neil looks at the person.

Neil : Avni!

Avni : Neil I need to tell you something..

Neil gestures her to process ahead. Avni taking deep breath told Neil something which shocked him to core..

Neil composing himself looks at avni.

Neil: avni this can't happen.. I think you're mistaken somewhere.. I don't think it is same person.

Avni : Neil how can you be so sure? I have feeling it is same person..

Neil: avni there is no connection them.. two people can have same surname.

Dd comes at the same and gives the file to Neil.. Neil went to through file whereas dd and avni looks at Neil. Neil few minutes later close the file and looks at them.

Neil : avni I need to leave immediately.. I'll see you in the evening.

Neil taking his phone and the file which dd gave him left the cabin. Avni looks at dd.

Avni : what was the file about?

Dd : avni Bhabhi the file was about accident which happened 24 years ago..

Avni : 24 years ago?

Dd nodded his head.

Avni : dd I need you help..

Avni explained her plan to dd who agreed to help avni. Avni then went to her cabin..

Avni sitting on the chair went to through the file again.. her mind kept thinking about one thing which wasn't making any sense to her. She read the file three times but didn't solve the problem..

Avni : how can I tell Neil the person who I am thinking is behind the case is her only? How can I prove Neil what I'm thinking is not wrong? I should tell them to commissioner sir..

Avni closing the file walks to commissioner sir and found Neil there.. she nervously smiles and walks inside.

Avni : sir!

Both men's looks at avni.

Commissioner: come in avni!

Avni : sir I know who is behind this case?

Commissioner sir : who?

Avni : ..........................

Commissioner sir : avni do know what you are saying? How can person who died years back runs human trafficking? Avni it is not possible. You have mistaken..

Avni : but sir..

Commissioner sir : no avni.. it is not possible. Dead person can never be alive. I suggest you to do more investigations about the case.

Avni : but sir.. I'm not lying.. it can be the person..

Commissioner sir : Mrs khanna you should get back to the case.

Avni nodded her head went to back to her cabin glancing at Neil.

Neil : sir! I want college name where the girls has been kidnapped.

Commissioner sir nodding his head gave most of the college name to Neil.. Neil noted the college name and took his leave.

He was walking to his cabin when she heard Avni  shouting. He walks to her cabin and saw her throwing things on the floor.. Neil rushed to her and held her hand..

Neil : love what are you doing?

Avni stares at Neil angrily before hitting his chest..

Avni : leave me officer..

Neil : love! Why are you behaving like this?

Avni closing her eyes tried controlling her anger. She opens her eyes and looks at Neil.

Avni : Neil I'm no lying.. please trust me..

Neil : love.. calm down.. I trust you but what are you saying is not enough.. we need evidence to prove you're right. We have to investigate all matter then come to conclusionZ I'm not saying you can't be right but we need to evidence to prove sir..

Avni : you think I'm not wrong.

Neil : no you are not..  come sit here..

Neil made her seat and kneeled himself down holding her hands in his.

Neil : love what you are thinking can be possible but we need to be sure. No one will believe you without any evidence. Trust me we will tackle this case very soon. It may will look
Difficult but it's not impossible too. We will work together and find the person who is behind this human trafficking. Trust me.

Avni : I trust you Neil.. but how will I prove I am right?

Neil : keep faith in yourself.. everything will be fine. Now relax and did you never met this person who are referring to?

Avni shook her head.

Avni : no I never met the person but heard a lot from others.

Neil : hmm.it's okay. Don't stress. We have whole team looking for evidence..

Avni nodded her head. After sometime Neil walks to his cabin and called dd.

Neil : dd I want you to keep your eyes on avni.. I'm pretty sure she will do something. I don't want any trouble around her. Did you get that?

Dd : yes sir!

Neil : and yes contact parents whose daughter is missing.. I need to ask them some questions.

Dd nodding his head left the room. Neil sat on his chair and took pen. He starts writing something when he heard knock on the cabin.

He allows the person to come in. Neil saw few  girls parents.  Neil asked them to take seat and enquired them about their daughters.

Neil assuring them gestures dd to take the out. As they left Neil noted one thing which was constantly bugging him...

In evening Neil was outdoor doing investigations when his phone rang. He took his phone out and saw swetha calling him. He declined the call.

Neil : dd hold my phone.. if mom calls again then pick it up and tell I'm busy.

Dd took the phone and nodded his head.

Neil again starts enquiring people around while dd told swetha about Neil being busy as she called Neil once again.
