Hello I'm Raven until about two years ago I hated Scarlet but now I wish she wasn't gone. She has been dead for a month now I miss her greatly,but the thing is no one knows how she died,by who,or why.

I walk out into the dark grave yard finding my way over to scarlet's grave. Once there I sat down beside her limestone head stone and began to cry,a box knife in my back pocket. Thoughts running through my head, finaly I say to her even though I know she can't hear me, "oh scarlet why did you have to leave me why can't I just have the guts to end this and join you!" Then I pull out the box cutter and lay the sharp cold blade to the inside of my pale white wrist,tears streaming down my face. I sigh then slowly cut my wrist slightly, as blood trickled down my wrist I heard something coming from the woods,SNAP! I stop what I was doing and snap my head around, but no one was there," must have been a rabbit or deer" I thought. I then turned back to my wrist but I couldn't go though with it.

I returned home,but a band-aid over the cut and went up stairs to my room. My parents weren't home yet,so I went into my parents' room and raided dad's alcohol stash. I grabbed a bottle of whiskey and a glass,then I poured my self a drink. When I finished I poured my self an other,drank it,then put away the bottle and glass before leaving.

The next day at school,during 1st block a kid named Ashton asked what the band-aid was for I just told I cut when I was pealing potatoes, which was a lie. When the teacher walked into the room he clapped to get our attention then a cute guy with messy blond hair and a lip ring walked into the room wearing a white t-shirt,black ripped jeans,and black converse,he was SOOO HOT!
"Hello class I would like to introduce a new student to this school's fine student body, well what part of it is in this class. Anyway this is Luke he will be in this class with you guys for the rest of the quarter,so be nice" said Mr.Williams,our teacher.
There was only one empty seat in the entire room and that seat just happened to right next to mine so that's where Luke sat.
Then Mr. Williams began blabbering on about slope or something.
"Hi" I said to Luke in a shy voice but I don't know why.
"Hi" he said back then Asked ," I'm Luke and you are?"
"Raven," I told him and he smiled.
"It's nice to meet you raven" is all he said.
Time went so quickly that before I knew it... before we knew it the bell rang.

The next two blocks past and then came lunch. I sat in my normal spot the same spot I sat 2 months ago with scarlet,but with her gone it was just me...alone.
I sat quietly and ate until Luke came over and sat down next to me,in scarlet's spot "um...that seat is taken," he moved over to the other side of me,"is this one?" He asks with an adorable smile.
"No" is all I say.
"So who is sitting there?" He asks
I turn away from him and stare down at my tray," Scarlet," I pause," she is I mean was ... um... my best friend until last month when she disappeared and the cops found her two days later..." I couldn't finish my sentence and began to cry.
He finished it for me,"dead?" I nod," I'm so sorry" he apologized.
"It's ...it's okay." I told him.
His hand slid onto my thigh in a comforting way not perverted. Then the bell rang.

When 7th block was over I walked out side towards my house, then Luke in his chevy pickup truck pulled up next to me," need a ride?" He asked I nodded.
