When I wake up in the morning, my mom left a note saying she went into town and would be back before nightfall.

I start on my chores just like every other day thinking of that stranger. Then something dawns on me.

My mom isn't here. She has no way of knowing where i've been. I could go back to the cantina and find out more about that strange man.

I put up my stuff and head to my speeder. I grab my cloak off the back of my speeder and put it on not wanting my mom to recognize me just in case we hapoen to run into each other in town.

I speed off towards town feeling the rush of freedom even if its just for the few hours i get it.

I reach town and park my speeder at my secret spot in a alley way so that no one can find it. I dont need a replay of what happened last time(my speeder got stolen).

Slowly i peak out the alley way watching for my mom, i dont want to be caught in town when she doesnt know.

I sneak around town, finally making it to the cantina. Its normally pretty quite in the morning, but when i walk inside there are different species everywhere. I havent seen the cantina this busy in years.

I struggle to make my way to the bar, but when i do Joiklr is running around serving drinks to every being at the bar.

After about half an hour Joiklr finally has a short break from the mayhem.

"Hey Joiklr, you mind if we talk for a minute." i yell to him over the noise.

He looks up at me and smiles. He nods his head and waves his hand to summon me over to an open table in the corner of the cantina.

"Hey, Aston whats on your mind."

"I was wondering why the cantina is so busy."

"Just a little event going on."

"What kind of an event?"

Joiklr looks at me nervously and leans in saying,"A battle of the bounty hunters."

I look at him in awe, then i look around the cantina and for the first time notice all the well known bounty hunters that are easily blending in the sketchy crowd at the cantina today.

"Wow, i didnt know that there was ever a battle." i say looking back at Joiklr.

"Well they only take place every 20 years, so you wouldnt have been alive when the last one took place."

Then Joiklr looks at me and smiles" What do you really want to ask Aston."

I look at him nervously saying" What happened to that man that came in here yesterday?"

"He left."

"Where to?"

"Dont know."

I look around and say "Tell me please Joiklr."

"It might cause some trouble, just promise you wont go looking for him Aston."

"I promise."

"Ok then, he went into the canyons, seemed to be settling in there."

I look back at him and say"Where is he from?"

"Nobody knows, but theres rumors."

"About what?"

"That he fought in the war."

After he said that he got up to serve more customers that were coming in.

I watch the bounty hunters for a while and then decide to head back home before mom gets there first.

I head back outside, get my speeder and then head home.

I get home before my mom and finish up my chores. I go inside and start cooking dinner, making it seem like i was never gone.

Then as i'm finishing up dinner my mom comes in looking tired and slighty shaking.

"Mom whats wrong?" i ask.

"Aston, its your father." she says.
