i noticed egg-man digging in the dirt. "hey Chris, theres Eggman... and thats probably where the emerald is, c'mon" i said going over and looking over his shoulder i counted down the seconds and then grabbed it.

"you found the Chaos emerald Y/n!" Chris smiled. we both looked at it as i held it, it sparkled in the sun light. my necklace turned to the same color as the emerald but more... neon. i shoved it into Chris's hands and my necklace went back to normal."chris you hold it, i'm not sure how well its reacting with mine.

"ok." he said and i smiled. someone(eggman) tapped Chris on the head and made the emerald go up and eggman caught it. "HEY! Thats ours!" eggman walked away then looked at us

"sorry. not any more." he said and i huffed "besides my dear children, you hardly know what to do with the thing." he got in his egg thing and me and chris jumped on the wing of it... or at least tried

"WE FOUND IT FIRST ROUNDY!" i said my necklace turning red.

"Buzz off, kids."

"BUT ITS OURS!"

"let go of me you pipsqueaks!"

"GIVE US THE EMERALD!"  he pushed Chris off of him but i was holding on to the wing  and eggman flew away. "Chris!" i wispier shouted as i kept hidden my necklace turning purple i looked over and saw him hanging on the weird like spike thing that was on the bottom. i couldn't do anything, "h-hang on, i'll save you!" i said  but he climbed up the other way. i looked at where i was and i used some of my strength to get up on to it he turned the veical when he saw me chris had an easier time getting on then i was.  i  crawled on top of the wing. "EGGMAN THE EMERALD!" i said but her turned the vehicle verdict so that me and chris were almost sent toppling off if we didnt grab his mustash. i saw the chance to grab the emerald and i did as Chris and Eggman Argued. i let go of his mustash when he forced me and CHris off. "C-chris, i hadnt thought this far." i said hugging him as we fell i closed my eyes and felt arms catch us. i opened my eyes and looked at Sonic.

we ot home and i looked at the Emerald. "so thats an Emerald..." i wispered.

"YEP! and theres 7 of them so we have one of seven and Eggie has Zero." Rana said with a smile her tail flicking happily.

"now that we have one,  we only six more" Creme said.

"i'm not certain if we should keep it here, after all, it might have an effect on my equipment" Grandpa said

"no problem, if something goes wrong i'll fix it for you." Tails said

"alright the, its a deal."

"ok grandpa." tails said.

"...his name is chuck, its grandpa to us." i said with a smile smile. i looked at sonic and Chris "sorry Chris, Sorry about today sonic."

"what are you sorry for.?" Chris and Sonic asked.

"i put you in danger! sure it was a bit of a thrill but we almost lost both you and the emerald." i said

"well you got it back, didn't you?" sonic said

"and i'm perfectly safe." Chris said with a smile

"and thats all that matters Y/n."

"thanks... for everything..." i smiled widely
