"uh.. i dont know" Chris said.

"Y/n?" Danny asked. i looked away and shook my head. 

"Children may i have your attention" the principal asked and i looked up to him. the principal walked in with a man. the man had dirty blonde hair purple glasses. he wore a blue jacket blue vest underneath and a white shirt. he had gray pants. "i'd like to make a brief announcement to you all. your teacher, Miss Westerly, will be taking a leave of absence. therefore she will not be with you for the remainder of the semester."i looked at my brother and he looked back at me i was extremely nervous. "please say hello to Mr.Stewart, who will be your Substitute." a new teacher? i thought

"hello children" Mr. Stewart said.

"hello Mr Stewart" the class said. the bell rung and i grabbed my stuff. me and Chris left at the same time as i put my hood up as i looked through my back pack. 

"Christopher and Y/n Thorndyke?" i jumped hearing his voice. both me and Chris looked at him as i scooted closer to Chris. "the principal told me your names, and ,well,i was wondering if you two were the same Christopher and y/n Thorndyke whose father is the CEO of the starship software company, Nelson Thorndyke and whose mother is  the Famous Film Actress, Lindsey Fair?"

"yeah thats us." Chris said

"well i must say its a privilege to meet the Children of such distinguished parents"

"thanks that nice of you to say."

Good meeting you Christoper, you too Y/n." he said holding out his hand

"good to meet you too." Chris said shaking his hand.

"y-yeah, i-i'm exited for what you have in store..." i said shaking his hand as well

"by the way this might sound strange but do you have a favorite animal?" Mr. Stewart asked

"y-yeah." i said shrugging slightly. "its F/a"

"well um... Hedgehogs i guess" Chris said. "is that weird?"

"no, not at all." Mr. Stewart said.

"hey Chris! Y/n!" Danny said from the class room. "sorry lets go!" he said as me and Chris went with him. we went to the Cafetrea to eat. "what was Mr. Stewart asking you two in the hall?"

"he asked us what our favorite animals were." Chris said.

"huh, that weird." Danny said before drinking his drink. i looked towards the Tv that was in the cafeteria... a news report on the chaos emerald... maybe saw it wrong so i just continued eating.

when we went back to class Mr.Stewart was making a problem i couldn't really understand, i looked out the window and saw tails in the Tornado. "Cris did ypu see that?!" i wispered

"see what?" Frances asked.

"Exuse us for a moment!" Chris said as i followed him. "we'll be right back!"

i grabbed my Scooter/modped and chris was using his roller skates.  i tied a small bit of rope to my Scooter and handed it to him so he didn't use as much energy. "we have to find that Emerald, i think it was at a Construction site" i said some of my hair getting close to my eyes. once we got there i made it into a board and put it on my back. "lets hurry."
