Two years after Asami and Akki came to the orphanage.

"Come Asami! Uncle Saito is here and he's taking us shopping." The white-haired girl pulled her 'friend' behind her who, even after two years, acted cool and distant towards Akki and the other children. "Ane-San will you bring us sweets?" Asked a blue-haired girl with a little boy clinging to her. "Of course Hana and you Kazuko look after the others yes?" Akki smiled at the two children and gave them a quick hug before running over to Saito and giving him a delighted hug.

"We still need sweets for the other children Uncle Saito." Akki, Saito and Asami had almost finished shopping when Akki remembered that they had to bring sweets. "Of course, just not too many yes? Me and Asami will wait at the checkout."

After they had finished shopping they drove back to the orphanage but were dropped off about 200 metres away by Saito. "You guys go ahead to the orphanage, I have something to do and I'll be there in about half an hour. You bring the others their sweets and I'll bring the vegetables and the other stuff later." After the two girls got out, Mr Saito drove off.

Akki's view:

"Come on Asami let's hurry up the others are already waiting for us." I shouted with vigour and pulled Asami behind me. The door to the orphanage was open and I didn't think much of it since the door is often open because Nanami, Masahiro, Himari, Natsuki and Kazuko can't play outside in the garden otherwise. When I and Asami entered and I put down the bag of sweets, I suddenly smelled a strong iron smell. To make sure I wasn't imagining it, I asked Asami if she smelled it too: "Ami? Do you smell that too?" "What should I smell, is this another one of your stupid jokes Akki? If so then..." Suddenly I heard a noise from the dining room that was even more audible because of the abnormal silence, I quickly covered Asami's mouth with my hand and pulled her into an alcove as I suspected that this noise was not caused by our siblings. "Shhht be quiet Ami. We're going to walk slowly towards the dining room and see what's going on yes?" Slowly we crept towards the dining room and when we were close enough to see inside I dared a look and what I saw shocked me extremely, Mama and all our siblings were lying on the floor in puddles of blood, which also explained the smell of iron, and next to the bodies stood a woman covered in blood. I quickly ducked my head so that the woman who murdered the others wouldn't see us but unfortunately I was too slow and the woman used her Quirk and shot some kind of ice shard towards me, cutting my cheek. Asami suddenly put her hand on my cheek and the pain was gone. Being distracted by her action i didn't hear tue woman coming and when i saw a movement in the corner of my eye, all I could do was push Asami away and give myself up to the bombardment of ice shards. "AKKI!" Asami shouted and I smiled at her in pain as most of the shards hit me.

After standing up, I grabbed Asami, who had tears streaming down her face, and ran as fast as I could to the door. Arriving at the still open door, I kissed her briefly on the forehead, wiped away her tears and pushed her out. "Go, live on for us." With these words I closed the door and locked it so that she could no longer enter.
