Paranoia

You felt your heart pump rapidly in your ears as nothing but pitch black darkness surrounded you. It was like you were in an endless room, isolated from humanity, isolated from sunlight and the outside world. You gasped lightly as shadows wisped around your wrists while quiet whispers filled the air, their words unrecognizable. You tugged your arm away with a sound of disgust, the shadow broke away like a cloud of smoke. Not before another one came to wrap around your wrist. You gave a sound of slight fear as you felt their grips tighten painfully.

Your eyes looked ahead to see a slight blood red glow emit from the shadows ahead. You held your breath in fear as a figure stepped out of the shadows, a laugh coming from it. Relief over took you as you saw Cry walked out from them, a faint smile reaching your lips.

"Ryan!" You exclaimed before he noticed you, a smile coming to his face as he ran up to you trapped by the shadows. You gave him a confused expression when you saw him wearing a Sup Guy mask that covered basically all of this face except his mouth, trying to remember when he got that.

"(Y/N), are you okay?" He asks you with a concerned tone, observing the shadows wrapped around your arms and wrists. You winced slightly as the shadow seemed to have the grip of a strong person, almost breaking your wrists.

"N-Not really," You mumbled while your eyes widened when dozen of other shadows seemed to wisp around you, slowly dragging you back into the darkness the came from. "Ryan!" You called out while you struggled to raise your arm out to him, the shadows painfully trying to pull your arm back.

Cry reached his hand out to yours and tightly clasped his around it, giving a shout of surprise as the shadows started to wisp up his arm. You gasped and held onto his hand tighter, trying to fight against the darkness. That's when the shadows covered Cry's arm, your eyes slightly tearing up while he kept his grip on your hand, not giving up.

"Ryan, stay with me! Don't let it get to you!" You shouted to him while the whispers turned louder and louder, filling your head with horrible thoughts. Your eyes widened when Cry looked up from the ground, his mask now splattered with some red liquid, you refused to believe with blood. The thin line that was the mouth of his mask was now a scribbled and horrifying smile. Ryan gave an inhuman laugh, a loud and terrifying one. The whispers and shouts stopped suddenly, leaving the place silent and eerie.

"How can I let it get to me," He seemed to his simply walk up to you without a struggle, the shadows actually seeming to aid him in his walk. "When it's already inside me?" The slight glow of the blade he held in his hand made your frame shake slightly in fear, the last things you heard was his loud an horrifying laugh.

You woke up with a rapid heart beat, your breathing heavy as your eyes stared up at the ceiling in your room. You felt something roll down your cheek. Tears?

Wiping your eyes you gave a loud sigh and quickly got off your bed, leaving your room and into the hallway. You felt yourself hurry up as you passed by some mirrors set up in the hallway, not wanting to see what things you would see at midnight. Something was in the mirror, in the corner of your eye you could see something. You didn't plan on knowing what it was though...

"Ryan?" You asked as you entered his room. You doubted he was even awake at this time, but decided to ask him anyways. You heard him groan and the shuffling of the sheets before the light next to his bed was turned on and lit up the room.

"(Y/N)?" Cry asked groggily as he rubbed his eyes. He yawned before looking towards you at the foot of his bed. "What's wrong?"

You felt like scolding yourself at how childish and dumb this sounded and probably was, but just crossed your arms and averted your eyes from him.

"I-I don't really want to explain, but can I lay with you?" You asked and your eyes looked towards him to gauge his reaction. Surprise came to you when he laughed lightly.

"Sure," He replied. You walked over to the side of the bed he wasn't occupying, lifting the covers and getting under them. When you got comfortable the light turned off with a click and you swore you saw something at the foot of the bed, watching you with it's menacing eyes. You whimpered slightly and squeezed your eyes shut to try and shun it out of your thoughts.

That's when Ryan's arm came to bring you closer to him. This was something that happened some nights whenever you had a horrifying dream. You were diagnosed with slight paranoia and Cry knew that. He knew that having someone comfort you helped a little with the paranoia too. You felt all your worries melt away when he told you goodnight and you told him goodnight as well, a faint smile on your lips.

A/N: (Melody, you need to quit writing stories you can't update until three months later.) BUT IT'S SO HARD. I actually have a plot for this story and feel like you guys might like some more Cry. Anyways, I'll most likely update this more often because it was actually really fun to write. So yeah. Enjoy!
