Chapter 7: A Day with J2L
♡
Seol Anna ~ you
As I entered his sleek red Porshe, I plopped down on the passenger seat and clicked my seatbelt in place.
"Hi Anna~" Jimin greeted happily.
"Hi Jimin." I gave him a small smile. "How do you know where Hana lives?"
"Oh well, it's a natural thing to know where all of us gold born people live. And I don't live too far from here." he says, turning the car.
"Oh." I stated, surprised that such a knowledge exists.
As we leave the neighborhood, Jimin began to ask questions about my likes and dislikes, my birthday and etc.
Turns out that he's older than me by a few months, so he's currently persisting me to call him oppa.
"Anna~ Jebal. Call me your oppa!" He smiles as he drove.
"Shiro." I answered as his face fell, his eyes dropping in sadness.
"Jinja?" He asks, his voice a small whimper.
"Ne Jimin oppa." I said as he paused, and looked at me with shining eyes.
"You called me oppa!" he says as I glare at him.
"Keep your eyes on the road, we're gonna crash if you keep getting distracted." I scolded him as he smiled.
His eyes land on the streets in front of us, and as we reached the highway, I asked him where we were going.
"Somewhere nice." He replied as I furrowed my brows.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked as he smiled.
"You'll see." He said mysteriously as I saw that we were going to Gangnam.
"Gangnam?" I asked.
He nods, not taking his eyes off the road.
'Ok then...' I thought, feeling awkward.
—
10 minutes later, we arrive at a small neighborhood restaurant that had the smell of meat wafting into the busy streets.
My stomach growled, and Jimin was licking his lips as he opened the door for me.
"Two people ajummah." He says, putting out a peace sign as the hustling ajummah got us to our table.
"Ah! Jiminnie-ah! I haven't seen you in a while!" the ajummah said loudly with a smile. "Where are those friends of yours?"
"Ah, they're busy today ajummah. I'll be sure to bring them next time." he said politely with a smile as I saw her eyes brighten up.
"Ah... is this your girlfriend? She's so pretty! Better treat her well, Jiminnie!"
"A-Aniya..." I said as another set of customers came in and the ajummah rushed to greet them.
"Welcome! Oh it's Dong Woo and the family! Please sit wherever!"
"Ajummah, some banchans here please!" A man called the ajummah as she said, "Ne!" with a bright smile.
"It's really busy here, isn't it?" I asked as Jimin nodded.
"Of course! Ajummah has the best food in Gangnam, and she's such a loveable person that you can't help but come back." Jimin nodded.
"Do you guys come here often?" I asked as Jimin turned to me.
"Who?"
"You know, your friends... JL?" I asked as his mouth opened.
"Ohh you mean J2L? Ne." He says as passes me the menu.
"Get anything you want because I'm treating you today." He said happily and turned his head to watch the streaming plates of food travel from the kitchen to the tables.
"I recommend the samgyupsal and the tofu soup; they're to die for!" Jimin pointed at the menu as I nodded.
We ordered and by no time, our steaming bowls of tofu soup, array of banchans, and platters of glistening samgyupsal had arrived.
"Wah ~ It looks delicious ajummah! Kamsamida!" Jimin said, his eyes wide and lips curled up.
"Aigoo, of course it is!" the ajummah said with a chuckle. "Now eat up kids! Jiminie-ah, make sure you feed your girlfriend, she looks like she's going to devour the entire table!"
"Ne ajummah!" Jimin said, facing her with a smile before he turned to me and winked.
Jimin uses the tongs to gently place a piece of meat onto the grill, which sang a melody of sizzles upon contact.
"Sounds heavenly, right?" he says as I took my eyes off of the meat and onto him.
I nodded and Jimin began to cut up some of the meat as they turned a beautiful golden brown.
"Wait till you try this!" Jimin had picked up a steaming piece of meat with his chopsticks. He gave three generous blows, and placed the meat in front of my mouth.
"What?" I asked as he made a face.
"Come on! Palli! The meat's getting burnt!" He urged, pushing the chopstick closer.
I took a careful bite and descended to heaven.
Jimin himself ate the meat straight up from the grill and nearly choked. He said thay he was fine, for the glorious taste of meat swelled his tastebuds and tears from choking.
As for the rest of the meal, I realized that the apparent "play boy" wasn't so bad after all.

Hwang Krystal ~ The Female Tybalt
The girls and I were at Hana's place for a makeover because we were bored. I then planned to get a little lunch and then go to the spa with my friends after our little makeover party.
Seeing how Jiyeon still had thick brown lines on her cheeks and jaw from her first attempt to contour made Hana and I chortle and gawk at her masterpiece.
As Hana offered to give Jiyeon a new makeover (with proper contouring this time), I decided to head downstairs and grab some water.
I paused in front of Anna's room, and peeked inside. There wasn't anything much, aside from the vanity and the long mirror inside the room.
I looked around and saw that she had a balcony. Hey, maybe I should get one. No wait, standing in the morning and afternoon will make me tanner, and I have that Etude House photoshoot coming up, so I can't too. And plus, mom would kill me if I did. And Jessica. What would my sister say?
Anyways, as I opened the door to what was her closet, I found her rather plain looking wardrobe, or what was made of it so far.
I noted that of course Busan home-girl Anna wouldn't have much more... fashion friendly clothes. As I kept on looking, I found out that her plain clothes were actually either designer or from boutiques, which I didn't expect since Anna didn't look like a gold-born.
I found a piece that caught my eye, and it was the beautiful sheer pink silk gown from Alexander McQueen! Oh my god. I would love to have such a beautiful dress in my wardrobe! But how did Busanna (Busan + Anna yes, I'm so smart) get such a beauty like McQueen?!
Suddenly, I heard something downstairs, which led me to finally go get that water I needed. Remember, hydration is beauty. And without beauty, there is no boyfriend, a.k.a Kris. Who, sadly, isn't mine yet, but he will. I can't believe that he can't see that I, Hwang Krystal, is the perfect girl for him!
I heard shuffling noises outside and found myself going towards the front door. I heard the roar of a sports car and peeked out the window blinds.
Wait, what? Seol Anna? I thought Hana said that she wasn't here. What was she doing in the house, quiet as a mouse?
That red Porsche... it looks familiar. Where did I see it before... Wait Park Jimin?!!!
What is that hot (yet sadly a playboy) guy doing here? Why is Anna entering his car? OMO are they dating?!
Then... Kris is mine! Wait, Hwang Krystal, she might be friends with him, and I still need Kris to like me too...
"A date?" I said out loud, the fantasies of Kris and I beginning with Anna out of the picture.
I chuckled to myself and snapped a pic of the two. 'Won't they like this.' I thought with a smirk as I turned around and went to get that water, feeling confident.
"And... send!" I say, gleefully smiling.
I wonder how they'll react...

"Thank you for the meal. I ate well." I said to the ajummah, who smiled in response.
"Make sure you come back with Jiminnie and his friends! I hope you two will last long. P.s., although it may not seem like it, he's a huge sweetheart. Take care of him." the ajummah said as I nodded.
"Kamsamida ajummah. Annyeonghaseyo!" Jimin waved as we left the small restaurant.
The very full and happy guy paid, even though I insisted to as well for introducing me to a place that I'd come by again.
"Wah, that was a good meal."
"I agree–" I started.
"It sure was!" three other voices chorused, their bodies stretching behind us.
"Dongsaeng-ah, what do you think?" L.Joe asked, putting a hand around me.
"Yah! I'm the only one who can do that!" Jin said as he tossed L.Joe's arm off my shoulder.
"Aigoo. And our date was going so well." Jimin sighed as he pouted.
"It wasn't a date." L said and looked at me.
"It was a lunch date." Jimin said as I could see Jin glaring at him. "Isn't that right Anna?"
"Well...," I got my phone out, "According to Jimin it was. And I'm glad that I said yes because that was some of the best food I've eaten in Seoul so far."
"See? I told you." Jimin said in triumph. "We're a foodie couple."
"Couple? What couple?" Jin asked loudly in annoyance as I chuckled.
"Is the princess getting mad that her prince isn't there to save the day?" I teased as he broke out in a laughing-angry (langry) tone.
"Yah! You... Ah, I said I'm not a princess Anna!" Jin said with a laugh before he caught me (or my neck) in a lock and ruffled my hair.
"Yah! You're ruining my beautiful hair! Kim Seok Jin!" I said quite loudly as I tickled him, causing him to let go.
"Wah, those two sure don't know the meaning of anger, do they?" I heard L ask as L.Joe added, "I'm guessing they forgive each other."
"Aigoo, now my mood's ruined all because of this hyung." Jimin mumbled as Jin let go of me and said, "Well this hyung can punish you too! You, taking my best friend on a date without even telling me. L and L.Joe made me follow you two!"
"Here they go again." L.Joe said as L nodded.
"Anyways, we'll leave the couple here. Let's go for some ice cream." L said as I nodded eagerly.
"You're not full?" L.Joe asked as we started walking away from the arguing friends.
I shook my head and replied, "There's always room for dessert, no matter how much I ate."
"Hmm. Wise words." L said as I smiled.
"Of course, since it was said by a wise girl herself. I'm craving some chocolate ice cream."
"Yah! Where are you guys going?" Jimin asked as I turned my head.
He pushed Jin and came running while the angry princess stampeded her way towards the group.
"Park Jimin—" Jin started as he hid in front of L as they walked along.
We enter an ice cream store not far from here. Jimin, L, and L.Joe order first, and went to sit upstairs, a cone and sundae in hand.
I got a waffle cone with soft green tea ice cream while Princess Jin got a strawberry and chocolate sundae bowl filled with mochi, fruit, and a drizzle of Nutella.
"Wah, yours looks amazing!" I said as I grabbed one of the two spoons Jin took.
Jin lead me to a table and as he sat down, I wondered why we were heading upstairs where the rest of J2L was. Hmm, weird.
"Can I have some?" I asked as he nodded.
Then, as the spoon entered my mouth, the mixture of cream and fruit and hazelnut combined and my taste buds exploded in happiness.
"Of course, your kindness in sharing food is what also makes you my best friend." I remarked as Jin chuckled.
"Yah. You know how lucky you are Seol Anna? I only share my food with you, no one else."
"Mmm. I feel special ~" I smiled and handed him my cone. "And I could say vice versa." Jin took a lick of the green tea scoop and handed back my precious ice cream.
After a silent moment of enjoying our cold treat, Jin mumbled, "Are you still mad at me?"
"Mwo? I can't hear you." I said as he repeated the phrase.
"Aniyo. You're my best friend, so I can't stay mad at you forever. And besides, it's hard to get mad at that pretty face." I cooed as he chuckled.
"I'm too handsome, that's why." Jin replied as I nodded.
We listen to the bustling streets of lively Gangnam before a thought appeared in mind.
"Jin-ah." I said, catching his attention. "What's school like over here? Is it fun? Easy? Hard? Boring?"
"Well... It's all of them honestly. But I'm sure school won't be boring once you start attending. I hope we get the same classes."
"Ah, just like the old days, right?" I smiled. "That was fun."
"It was." Jin sighed and I turned to him. "Anyways, I can see that we have company..."
And just outside, standing right next to his sleek black Mercedes Benz was Chen, followed by Kai.
"Do they always follow you?" Jin asked, annoyed as I answered, "I honestly don't know. They seem to find me wherever I go."
The bell on the door jingles, and a bright light illuminated the two rich teens as they walked in, making the other customers gape in awe.
"That's Kim Jongin, isn't it? The heir to the major bakery chains?" I overheard a girl say to her friend.
"And that's Kim Jongdae of Golden Transportation, the prince of cars and planes!"
"They're so handsome in real life omona!"
"Omo! L.Joe and L and Jimin are here too? My life is complete! It's the entire J2L group!"
I turned my head to find the rest of the J2L members coming downstairs, a glare in all three pairs of eyes.
I then heard the scrape of chairs joining our table; the other members acting like barriers around me as Jimin started a rather cheerful and loud conversation about our lunch.
I could catch glimpses of Chen and Kai, who were ordering.
"Anna?" I heard Jimin ask.
"Ne?" I asked, caught off-guard.
"I asked you when you wanted to come over."
"Bwo? Come over where?" I asked, surprised.
"Over to Jin hyung's place. He's having a little party for your return."
"Yah! That was supposed to be a surprise!" Jin said angrily towards Jimin.
"You're not good at surprises anyways." L says as I let out a chuckle.
"You'd probably tell her by the time you finished your ice cream hyung." L.Joe added, "Which is about right now."
I saw how quickly my food loving friend had finished his ice cream along with the help of Jimin and L.Joe, who were stealing his cold treat by the spoonful.
"A party? For me?" I asked.
"To celebrate that you're back in my life." Jin said as the other three made annoyed "eyy" noises and hit Jin's back.
"So cheesy." L mumbled and made a face.
"What? She's my best friend!" Jin said as Jimin pouted again.
"I thought I was yours hyung!" Jimin cried as I laughed.
"Is the house being decorated right now?" I asked to throw Jin off guard.
"It's already been done." Jin says before looking wide-eyed at me.
"So this was all a distraction, right Jiminie?" I asked as he nodded.
"Jiminie?" L.Joe and Jin said at the same time.
"Why does she call you that?" Jin asked as he turned to his younger friend.
"She just does. Don't be such a jealous boyfriend hyung, jeez." Jimin said before Jin turned red and that I blinked quickly.
"And... he's speechless again." L says before shoving a spoon of my ice cream into Jin's open mouth.
"What will we do about you, hmm?" L tsked and shook his head as Jin regained his normalness.
"Anyways, shall we leave?" he asked as I saw Chen and Kai looking our way.
"Yeah, sure. Let's go." I say and stand up after finishing my last bite.
I gave a wave in the Kim's direction while they smiled back and stared at J2L as we left.
"So I'm expecting a lot for a party with J2L." I say as we stand outside of the shop.
"You won't be disappointed." Jimin says as the others nodded. "Especially if it's a party with us."
"Alright then, I trust you guys. Where's our ride?" I asked as Jin gave me a smile.
"Right here." He says as a sleek white limo stops right behind us, a driver gets out and opens the door with a bow.
"Wah~ This is so cool! A limo? Daebak!" I exclaimed, clapping with a large smile.
"Shall we get going?" Jin asked as I nodded and entered the limo first.
I could hear lots of voices murmuring in surprise with a limo approaching a lively neighborhood.
The rest of the members get in, and I'm still busy looking around the large car filled with a small tv, a cooler with drinks, and velvety and soft seats.
A party, for me? How exciting~!
