Y/N was staring off into space on the couch, as Meggy was asleep, cuddling into him. Still remembering when he first met her.

-1 Year Ago-

This memory was when Meggy was an inkling still, before Y/N confessed, and before the others, such as Tari, Saiko and Beta showed up.

Today, Mario was enjoying his spaghetti in peace, SMG4 was trying to work on a meme..but he couldn't concentrate and snapped at him.

SMG4: MARIO! I CAN'T CONCENTRATE WITH YOU EATING LIKE A HORSE!

Mario: WELL YOU SHOULD TAKE YOUR MEMES AND SHOVE EM UP YOUR PASTAHOLE!

SMG4: IM GONNA GIVE YOU SIXTEEN ACROSS THE ASS!

Mario: OH ITS ON ASSHOLE!

They began to brawl and fight, Y/N came downstairs to get a snack until he was met with Mario being flung into him.

Y/N: Ow...

Mario: Hmm? My asshole speaks?!

Y/N launches Mario off of him.

Y/N: Get off me!

Mario: Oh, Hello Y/N!

Y/N: Hey Mario, why are you two fighting?

SMG4: I cannot concentrate with fat ass over here always eating!

Mario: Hey!

Y/N just rubs his temples and sighed.

Y/N: You know what? You two figure it out, I'm going to Inkopolis.

Y/N then heads down into the basement, seeing Toad tied up.

Toad: I've been in here for three weeks! And there's rats! And their nibbling my toenails!

Y/N felt bad and freed Toad.

Toad: Thank you, I know I can always count on you.

Y/N: Anytime Toad, it's tough being the little guy, right?

Toad: You have no idea..

You both share a laugh, he says bye to you and leaves, you head into the warp pipe to see Meggy, you always have this warm feeling when you're around her, it's hard to explain.

Once you got into Inkopolis, you jump out of the pipe and land flat on your face.

Crusty Sean: Hey Y/N.

Y/N: Hey Sean...that hurt.

Y/N gets up and dusted himself off.

Crusty Sean: You took a nasty fall, I'll have to put a mattress there next time.

Y/N: That would be practical.

Crusty Sean: Yeah, thought so, say, have you seen my glasses?

Y/N: No, sorry.

Crusty Sean: Aw man..

Y/N: When did you lose them?

Crusty Sean: About a few hours ago, I still can't find them anywhere.

Y/N: I'm sure you'll find them eventually.

Crusty Sean: I hope so.

Y/N: Hey, have you seen Meggy?

Crusty Sean: Is she the one with purple eyes, red beanie and the orange tentacles?

Y/N: Yep, that's her.

Crusty Sean: Oh, she went into an arena to train, some other guy followed her there too.

Y/N: Wait, what other guy?..

Crusty Sean: Light blue tentacles, blue striped beanie, hero blaster and grey eyes.

Y/N: That's Mark..

Crusty Sean: Oh shit!

Y/N: Where was Meggy heading?! Which arena?!

Crusty Sean: The one she usually trains at!

Y/N: Okay, thanks!

You run off into that direction.

Crusty Sean: Good luck!

You make your way downtown into the square and see the arena, you run all the way there and see no sign of either of them, you see another inking with blue eyes and white tentacle hair practicing with a sparkly blue ink cannon, you asked her if she's seen Meggy.

Y/N: Hey, miss, have you seen an orange inkling here?

?: Huh? Oh, yeah, she went down the hall to the right.

Y/N: Right, thanks!

?: No problem.

You run over to the arena's halls and turn right, you turn spot Meggy, fighting off Mark.

Mark: Give up sweet cheeks!

Meggy: We are through! How many times do I have to tell you that?!

Mark: As long as I'm around, we are together!

Y/N: Back off of her asshole!

Mark turns around and saw you.

Mark: You..

Meggy: Y/N!

She was happy to see you.

Mark: This is none of your business Y/N, get lost.

Y/N: You know, I kinda wanna make it my business.

You then hold your hand out.

Mark: The hell?

Meggy: Y/N? What are you doing?

Y/N winks at Meggy, she knew you had a plan coming.

Y/N: Shake my hand, if you do so, she's all yours and I'll quit bothering you.

Mark: Uh..what's the catch?..

Y/N: No catch.

Mark seemed suspicious at first, but he lowered his blaster and shook your hand, that is until an extreme shock hits him and flung him towards Meggy, Meggy grabbed her brush and whacked him out of the park.

Meggy: Home run!

Y/N: He was stupid enough to fall for the oldest trick in the book.

She runs up to you and gives you a big hug.

Meggy: Thanks for backing me up there Y/N, I really appreciate it.

Y/N: Anything for a good friend.

Meggy continued to hug you, she said under her breath.

Meggy: Sometimes I wish we were more..

Y/N: What?

Meggy: Oh nothing! just me thinking to myself..

She rubbed her the back of her neck.

Y/N: Alright, wanna get some noodles?

Meggy: Sure, I'm starved!

The two head to her apartment and get yourselves some noodles cooking.

Meggy: While that's cooking, what would you like to watch?

Y/N: Anything's fine for me.

Meggy: Alright, Squidformers it is.

She turns on the show, the bowls were done, so you get them carefully and got the chopsticks to eat them with.

Y/N: Here you go.

You place the bowl on the table in front if the couch.

Meggy: Thank you!

Y/N: No worries.

As you two were watching, a character died in that show.

Meggy: Damn, I hate it when they kill of Squidjumper..he's such a cool looking robot.

Y/N: Yet they say he's just a reskin of Bubblereef..

Meggy: Which is not true at all, sure they have similarities, but that doesn't mean they're the same character, they both have different personalities.

Y/N: Exactly.

As soon as you two got done eating, it was getting late and you decided to head back.

Y/N: Bye Meggy, I'll see you tomorrow.

Meggy: Night Y/N, promise we'll train tomorrow?

Y/N: I cross my heart.

Meggy: Yay! Alright, sounds like a plan then, have a good night!

Y/N: Thanks, you too!

You leave, Meggy sighed and heads up in her room and gets into her PJs, she then goes to her bed and slowly drifted to sleep.

Y/N comes back to Peach's castle to see SMG4 passed out on the computer, and Mario sleeping in a bowl of spaghetti.

Y/N: Seems normal.

You go to your room and plop down on the bed and pass out.

-Modern Day-

Y/N: I remember that day.

Percy: What day?

Y/N: Huh? Oh, sorry Perc, just thinking to myself.

Percy: Oh, gotcha, I'll leave you to it then.

He walks away and goes outside to practice his spear throwing. You look down and see Meggy is still sound asleep, you kiss her forehead.

Y/N: Love you with every ounce of blood in my body.

You drift to sleep with her. She smiled and hugs you in her sleep.

(How wholesome...I think I just leaked a tear..)
