Toby climbs into my room and sits on the bed as Keiko looks at my video games. "Garrett asked me about you." He says, "W-wait what?!" I almost scream, "He wanted to know about you when you aren't depressed.."
"O-oh... Well You and Keiko usually come over to my house and yea..." I say quietly and mess with the gloves that ends at the middle of my fingers as Toby messes with his headphones. Then, his phone goes off, "It's Garrett... He wants to come over... To your house right now..." He says and I feel like I'm gonna faint because he wants to come over. TO MY HOUSE. "F-fine he can come over but wait outside for him and knock on the window, ok?" I tell him, he nods, then opens the window and sits on a tree branch. "Keiko... Garrett.. Wants.. To... Come... OVER... TO.... MY... HOUSE!!!!" I screech in joy
as I shake Keiko, she starts to laugh and my moms runs in my room, "Cat!! Whats wrong?!" She says then realizes I'm screeching in joy. "Oh. My. God!! You haven't been that happy since you were 10!!" She says beaming. I started to be depressed when I was 11, I'm 17 now. Toby knocks on the window and I tell my mom she can go now, I fix my gloves and put my hair over one eye. Then... I give him the thumbs up and he opens the window helping Garrett inside. I get super pale and sit in my rolling chair trying to stay calm. "Well Garrett, this is Cat..." Toby says and points to me, I'm in my depressed mood now and I just wave to him shyly without smiling. "H-hi.." I say quietly as Garrett reaches his hand out to shake mine. I shyly shake his hand trying not to blush, "So... Your Cat huh..." He says kindly. Holy. Crap. HIS VOICE IS SO DEEP!!!
"Y-yea... I'm Cat..." I say quietly and start shaking

"Your known as the 'Weird Girl That Never Smiles'?" he says leaning closer to me and I lean back nodding. "HA! I KNEW IT!!!" He says and bursts out laughing, I sit there dumbfounded.... He thinks I'm weird too....

Why would he do this....

I can't trust anyone but my friends...

I walk to school with Toby and Keiko.. "Garrett seems nice but he's a jerk, Cat, don't beat yourself because of that.." Toby says and fixes his headphone. "I'll try not too...." I mumble, "Hey don't sweat it Cat! Toby and I are here to defend you from that jerk!" Keiko says and elbows me playfully, I start to smile a little but I stop smiling when we enter the school, everyone starts laughing at me... Great...

I get pushed by someone and everyone gasps and I hear people screaming at.... Garrett.....
