We were running from the goblins when I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my nose as the smell of orcs filled my nostrils. I gagged and gave out a roar of agony, stopping everyone in their tracks.

Bilbo: what was that?
Thrones; that's, burglar was a dragon roar.
Balin: what's a dragon doing here? He shouted, earning my attention. I was not in my dragon form; I was in my wolf form. I gave up a snarl, signaling the wargs to back off.

Azog: There's she-man. Take her, and kill the others. The orc leader said as his companions rushed forwards on wargs. I stood my ground, knocking everyone down and killing them afterward that tried to take my friends.
Legolas: watch out y/n! I heard Legolas's voice screaming, but it was too late. Another warg jumped up and bit me around my neck, I felt a little dizzy, but I shook the warg off and ripped its throat off, and dropped its head next to its body. I panted, hearing my friends being lifted by the eagles. Gandalf must've summoned them earlier. Suddenly, I hear an Eagle scream right over me and then felt some claws gently lifting me. All I could listen to was Azog scream in anger. Then all went dark.

Suddenly, I felt something cold getting poured down on my face. I jerked my body up; I noticed that I was a human again.
I felt a hand on my chin, lifting it to meet the person's eyes.
Legolas: you're okay, y/n? He asked in a soft voice.
You: yes, but I've been better. So I said as I pulled myself up.
Thrones: now that you're up, let's get going.
Legolas: don't you have a heart? She needs to rest, forsake!
Thorin: if she rests now, we won't make it until tomorrow's nightfall. The orcs will be upon us.
You: I'm okay. Let us go now. You hissed and went towards the cliff's edge, but before you could jump, someone pulled you in, making you hit his chest.
You: hey! What was that for?! You barked, looking up at the person's face. It was Legolas.
Legolas: I won't let you kill yourself. Your eyes widened at his words, then you chuckled and shook your head.
You: oh, my dear Legolas! I didn't want to kill myself; I would jump off the edge because I was going to transform into a dragon. It'll go faster if I fly us there. I said calmly, trying to calm Legolas's fear. I took my hand on his chest, rubbing slightly over his muscular chest. He was indeed surprised at my actions because I noticed his body stiffen when my hand touched his body. Finally, I decided to back up, walking back to the cliff edge, smiling before jumping.

On my way down, I felt my body change. I saw my skin change from human skin to scales and my nails forming into claws. I felt wings forming on my back, sliding open, saving me from getting crushed against the bottom ground. I fly up, letting a roar escape from my lips.

-Legolas's POV-

We were getting ready to leave as we suddenly heard a roar soaring from the ground beneath us, followed by a giant dragon landing on the cliff. Her scales were purple and had a slight golden stripe down her head, meeting her mouth. Her lips curled up to a warm smile as she met our eyes. Then, she walked toward us, getting a path of flowers in her footsteps as she walked.
Pippin: what in the world is she? Pippin asks, curious. As for myself, I'm just glad to see y/n is still alive. I ran to her, taking my arms around her scaly but soft neck.

-your pov-

As I stopped by Legolas, he lifted his arms around my neck, hugging me hard.
Legolas: I thought I lost you. He said, inhaling my scent, ticking me in the process.
You: okay, enough. And why would you think you would ever lose me? I'm always here for you, okay. So I said, moving my body back a little, enough to have a pace between you two.
Legolas: I know you would never leave me, but- a robust and airy smell cut his words. I lifted my head, sniffing. When I recognized the scent, my eyes lit up.
You: okay, okay. I got it. But right now, you guys are going to go and hide.
