~Campbell's point of view~

Things with Bells only got better from there! Almost every day she came around the station, and she smiled! And she even talked once in a while! I couldn't be sure since I had my headphones on but when we were doing my show I thought I saw her singing along with one of the songs, she liked David Bowie so I slipped Fergus a tenner I had been saving to get a few of his records to add to the collection. She flipped! Well...by flipped I mean smile really big and hug it..and then me...it was nice....even when we weren't in the station we hung out, she didn't really like talking to other people so if she really needed or wanted something she would just ask me, I didn't mind at all though! She still got kina jumpy if I touched her without warning but I didn't take offense, she couldn't help it! I guess that's why it was even more surprising when she knocked on my door in the middle of the night. It took me a bit to wake up and after turning on my light and opened the door, I was met by a heart breaking sight. She was trembling, hard, and her eyes and nose were a little red. "W-what's wrong love?" I whisper with a groggy voice due to the hour. She didn't say anything at first before looking at the ground. This was the first time I noticed the warn down, old looking teddy bear in her arms that she hugged like a kid, '....c...can I stay here?' She said shakily and I blink before nodding fast and moving as she shuffled in and sat on the bed gently. It didn't take long for me to connect the dots...nightmare..I sat by her and frowned, "do...do you want to talk about it?" I whisper quietly, one of the few times I was, I had been trying not to yell as much anyway around her. She shakes her head and to my shock lifted my arm and set it around her hiding in my side. I frown and push my hair back holding her tight. "It's ok bells...whatever it was...you're ok" I said quietly as she seemed to calm slightly nodding and I help her lay down, leaving the small desk lamp on as I held her to my chest frowning a little. She held the bear tight and laid her head on the crook of my arm as she took deep shaky breaths. 'Th...thank you c-Campbell' I hear and smile slightly nodding. I stayed up until I heard her breath even before curling my other arm around her tight to protect her from the world, allowing myself to drift off with my lamp still on.
