To this Val stayed quiet, letting out a sigh as he grabbed a book from the shelf
(A man of few spoken words to those who barely know him, Dr. Swineheart heavily relies on his mind. He's the blunt type to not beat around the bush, and instead use a lawn mower. To random people on the streets, and most of his patients he can seem like the serious type, and boring type. Val is a workaholic when it comes to doing what he loves best, but this doesn't mean the man has no heart. No, in fact he can be quite the perky guy around people, Val is just very hesitant to trust others, which leaves him closing himself in. With his family he is a caring, overprotective fella, but only if you're close enough for him to care. A secret masochistic, who loves to help others, though Val wouldn't waste a time in doing whats right. He's loyal until the end, and has a hard time expressing himself to others due to being autistic. This, being one of the reasons more often then not he tends to be quiet, and just speak only when needed. One word Val doesn't understand, relax. He's often stressed from work, or being strict and serious to those people who need to be reeled in)

(Val's parents whereabouts are unknown, as for his wife, she lives in Japan. Lastly, his daughters, Mei who isn't adopted, but Lilly who is)

"This is where I draw the line, that's too personal to get in to"
(Val grew up in Germany to a coven of witches and warlocks. It was there he spent most of his early years in the woods learning, and discovering himself. Each warlock is granted a special ability, and while not being able to do fancy wand magic, he found his talent elsewhere in alchemy. It had been around Val's teen years that a fight broke out among his coven, and it was this that led his parents to fleeing and going to the human lands. While it was hard for him to adjust, Val quickly found himself blending into the background, often not getting noticed by other students. After graduating school he quickly went into the medical field, and it was here Val spent most of his years learning everything he could about being a doctor. It was easy enough though, he had time on his side. On the side while he attended collage, the male would spend time with making and selling potions to other supernaturals. This is what gave him money to pursuit all of the degrees he wanted. Around this time a tragedy had struck in Japan, and this led Val to packing up his things to go helping people who needed medical attention. While working there Val soon later met his future wife, Sona, who was a yoga instruction. The two hit it on quite well, and Val even ended up finding out that Sona was a mermaid. After countless decades of school, he became quire confident in the knowledge of the medical field, and it was with this that he, and now wife, Sona immigrated to America. Val wasn't one to want fame, and so often he would work for the smaller hospitals to help people who truly needed it. By this time Sona had gotten pregnant, and the two were very indecisive on whether to keep the child or not. In the end they ended up divorcing, and Val is the one who kept the child. Another few years down the line Mei and him had moved to a house that turned out to of been haunted. Once again, the male ended up adopting the orphaned child, Lilly, and now the three often travel the world for hopes in somehow making humanity just a bit better)

(While not being able to cast spells or things like that as a warlock, Val possesses the ability to create all kinds of different potions)

(While Val can create potions, he needs the ingredients to do so, and can't make it out of thin air. His alchemy skills become useless if the person who he's trying to cast it on is wearing bronze)

Always seeming down though, Lilly looks to have a hard time staying happy for too long. She's also quite clingy, but curious when it comes to the things around her)
