Scarlett's POV
Me and Leo sat in the lab while we waited for Adam, Bree, and Chase to finish their training session

"Adam, that was the rebel leader. The whole purpose of today's mission simulation was to interrogate him" Davenport explained

"I did, and his answer was, 'aaaaah'!" Adam replied, I sighed, I knew that, your suppose to interrogate him, he doesn't talk, you make him talk and he sings like a bird

"Hey, next time could you maybe throw in a cute, blue-eyed rebel?" Bree asked, Davenport looked at her "What? I'm just sayin'. It's not gonna kill you to add a little somethin'-somethin' for the ladies" Ah, that sounds like Bree

"Step aside, amateurs. Go ahead, Big D. Set it to 'Awesome' " Leo said, standing on the platform

"Leo, these goggles are not a toy" Davenport said, taking the goggles off him

"Come on! My birthday's coming up-- globally known as 'Dia De Leo' " Leo said

"No. I designed the mission simulator to fine-tune their bionics, not to go on 3-D joyrides. Besides, you're not trained for it" Davenport told him

"Well, how about as a birthday gift you give me a bionic ability?" I laughed so loud, he really thinks that's gonna happen

"Oh, that's hilarious" I said, wiping away a fake tear

"Or I could gift-wrap reality and you could play with that for a while" Davenport said and walked away

"So Leo's having a birthday. What are you, like, nine?" Chase questioned, I chuckled

"Fourteen" he replied, they laughed

"No seriously" Chase said

"No, he's really fourteen" I replied

"When's your birthday Scarlett?" Bree asked, I didn't have to look up from my phone

"A few months ago" I replied

"So how are you gonna celebrate?" Bree asked

"We're all going to celebrate. Every year my mom throws me a big surprise party" Leo said

"Really?" Adam asked

"Last year she backed a cake the size of me" he bragged

"It's true, great cake" I replied, walking over to Leo

"I'm not gonna brag but I was delicious" Leo bragged

"Yeah, you just did the opposite of not bragging" I replied, he rolled his eyes

Me and Bree were talking and then Tasha came into the lab

"Guess what? I just found out that I won an award for my undercover reporting on expired produce: 'Something in the crisper can kill you'" Tasha said, I patted Bree's shoulder and went over to them

"Congratulations! That's so great!" Donald said

"Oh, thank you. But the awards banquet is the same night as Leo's birthday. I'm sorry, honey. I'm gonna miss it. If I don't show up, I'm afraid that they're gonna give my award to that over dramatic screen hog Linda Montieres" Tasha said sadly

"It's okay, mom. Go have fun. You deserve it" Leo said to Tasha, then we walked over to the three

"Hey" Leo said as Bree grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer

"I thought she was gonna throw you a party. I was promised a party!" Bree exclaimed

"Every year she comes up with this lame excuse to make me think she's not throwing me a party. Award? Please. Have you seen her reporting?" Leo said

"Leo, are you sure you're not mad? We've never been apart on your birthday" Tasha said sadly

"Oh, please! He'll have plenty of birthdays, but who knows if you'll ever win anything again" Adam said, oh boy does he have an off switch?

"Mom, go get your award" he then coughed and said "Chocolate frosting!" Really?

"I promise we will celebrate the following night" Tasha said

"Hey, why haven't we ever had a birthday party?" Bree asked

"Donald!" Tasha said, turning to face him "You never celebrated they're birthdays?"

"Of course I celebrated their birthdays. Remember when we-- when we went to the-- yeah, I never celebrated their birthdays" Davenport said trying to cover it up but failed tremendously

"Did you also eat all the cookies before Santa came down the chimney?" Davenport asked

"What's Santa?" Bree asked, I had my mouth widened

"Shame on you!" I exclaimed, pointing my finger at him

"Oh, come on!" Tasha exclaimed

"And why would you give him cookies?" He asked as Tasha and he left the lab

"Well, it's been fun. But I have to go finish your birthday present and I swear if I see you in my room before I let you in, I'll kill you mister" I threatened, he held his hands up in surrender

I left the lab and headed to my room, I had been working on his gifts for months, I think he'll really like them

I went into my spray paint room and grabbed a few different colors of spray paint

I plugged in my headphones, turned on some music, and quickly got to work

Dancing round while I got to work was fun, the painting of Leo as a superhero was gonna blow his mind!

It took a while, but it looked perfect! Mixtures of colors and details really made it look amazing! I'd been working on these paintings for weeks! I just had to add the final touches and it was perfect!

Perfect! I took them to the sketch room to dry, while I worked on a song I wanted to make for Leo

He's the greatest best friend and I want him to know that, I had been planning this song for months, and it's just perfect

All I have to do now is record it in my music room, which you'll see now

When you walk in at first it's filled with so much musical instruments

Then you see the sliding mirror doors? Well behind those is my recording studio

One side has my guitars, drums, and other things and the other side had all my keyboards and piano's (The guitar you see in the top photo is where the guitars and drums etc. go, then the other side is where the keyboards and stuff go)

In the middle of my guitar, drum, and etc. room is where I sing

Then you go back into the first room and see the second door on the opposite side of the room? It's my video making/ CD room

Pretty cool right? I think so, I sat down in one of the chairs and adjusted the CD

Best thing about this room is that it's completely sound proof, so I get peace and quiet all to myself

I finish the CD, head back into my art room and wrap up his paintings, placed them in a bag along with the CD and stuffed it with tissue paper and a card taped to the bag, then I head downstairs and see it's completely trashed!

Wait, it looks like a party, they threw a surprise party for Leo, how sweet

Before I could say anything Tasha and Davenport walked through the door

"What in the name of newly grounded is going on here?" Davenport asked

"For the record, I was not part of whatever this was" I mentioned, proving myself by all the spray paint colors on my clothes

"We threw an awesome surprise birthday party for Leo" Bree said

"Oh! That is so sweet, you guys" Tasha said

"Right. Hiding behind the Leo shield. Well played" Davenport said

"Speaking of which, where is Leo?" Tasha asked

"Yeah" Me and Davenport said at the same time

"He's right here' Eddy spoke and showed Leo on the screen, oh poor Leo

"Where I've been for the past three hours!!!" He exclaimed, clearly mad

"Yep, just waiting for the signal" Eddy said, oh great, they threw a party without Leo, he's probably so heart broken

"Eddie, let Leo upstairs now" Chase said

"All rightie, there's my signal" Eddy said, I sighed

"Let me get this straight. You guys had a surprise birthday party for Leo. . . without Leo" Davenport said

"Again, for the record, not part of this" I repeated

Davenport snickered "That's--that's actually kind of fu-- it's not funny it's not funny" Davenport said, after Tasha gave him a look

"Okay, well, uh, Leo's gonna be up here in just a few seconds. Why don't we act like the party's still going on, okay? Try it" Chase said, this is not gonna end well

"Surprise!" Everyone yelled as a heartbroken and hurt Leo came upstairs , Chase and Adam blew noise makers and Bree threw a streamer in the air

"I thought my first birthday with you guys was gonna be awesome. And you know it probably was, but I wouldn't know because I wasn't invited!" Leo exclaimed, clearly upset

Leo then stormed off in the opposite direction, I then looked at everyone and ran after him

He ran off to his bedroom, I knocked on his door and he said "Go away!"

"It's me, Scarlett, Leo can we please talk?" No answer "I wasn't at the party, or involved with it, please open up"

"Fine, come in" He said, I opened the door and he sat on his bed, really upset

"I have your birthday present, it took me months to finish but I think you'll like it" I said, sitting in his bed handing him the huge bag "But be careful, it's fragile"

He quickly ripped through the bag and pulled out the two paintings first, he looked so happy with those

"You made these?! Awesome!" He exclaimed, he really liked the batman one

"That's not all, there is still one more thing in there, at the point" I said, pointing to the bottom of the bag

He dug to the bottom of the bag and got confused at the CD

"It's a CD, I wrote you a song and with a day like today, you might really like it" I said, he smiled

"Thanks Scarlett, I'll make sure to listen to it" he said, placing it on his nightstand

"But there's a card, I think you should read it. I bought it, didn't make it" I joked, he kinda laughed

He opened the card and read it out loud "Happy birthday Leo, these gifts can not express the happiness and friendship you've given me over the years, but it's close. You're the greatest best friend/brother a girl can ask for. Thanks for always being there, I hope I did the same, have a great birthday! Love, Scarlett" he looked super happy

"In hindsight maybe it wasn't the greatest birthday, sorry for that" I said softly

"No it really wasn't, but this is the greatest gift, thank you Scarlett" he pulled me into a hug and I hugged back

"Happy birthday bro" I said letting go "Sorry about today"

"Thanks Scar, I'll see you in the morning" he said, I nodded and left his room, I feel terrible for him

I got into my room, showered, and put on some sweats and a shirt and went to bed, hopefully he's happier in the morning

NEXT DAY

(Outfit 1 with straight hair)

I sat next to Leo eating a apple while he had cereal

"Honey, I know your birthday was a bit of a bust, but I think I know what will make it better" Tasha said, trying to cheer him up "Donald, Scarlett, give him your gifts" Donal spit out his drink

"Scarlett already gave me hers, it was amazing" He said, he sounded down

"Thanks Leo, I tired" I said

"Yeah, Big D. Maybe your awesome-tastical gift can cheer me up after being totally forgotten!" Leo said, showing anger towards Adam, Bree, and Chase

"What, that gift? You don't want that gift. You know what? Just give me the number that'll keep the tears back. What do you say?" He said grabbing money out of his back pocket

"Mr. Davenport, just give him your gift" Chase said

"You know, I would, but I forgot where it was" Davenport said

"Oh, no, it's right here. It's in the closet behind a bunch of stuff" Adam said

"Thanks, Adam. Good eye" Davenport said, I bet he broke his gift

Adam pulled out a box with 'Hexacopter' on it and Leo ran over to it with it weird laugh, I stood behind the seat next to Bree

Once he opened the box he stopped laughing, it was broken, I was right

"Well, great, Leo. You broke it" Davenport said, I rolled my eyes

Then my phone went off, Mighty Med alert? Oh great, just great

"I gotta go, emergency cheer practice, I'll be back as soon as I can bye!" I said rushing out the door, I quickly ran to the school, no ones gonna be there

The nurse was there and saw me, she nodded and opened the door, I went through and saw Tecton waiting by the meeting room

"Good, your here. We need to have a emergency meeting, now" he ordered, I nodded and followed him into the meeting room

I sat at the end of the table and my entire team was there, this must be bad

"What's going on?" I asked

"The machine Nightro built has been working, but no ones even anyone working on it, take a look" he pulled up a video on the wall behind me, it played the machine working, how is that possible?

"How can we stop it?" I asked, searching my team for answers

"We go and check it out, take some of us with you, I'll go" Tecton said

"Me too!" Spark said

"Good, let's get a move on then. We have somewhere to be" I smirked, this is gonna be fun

We all landed on the building where the machine was, it was working but how?

I went closer but got knocked back, I fell to the ground, Spark helped me up

"Thanks, what was that?" I questioned, whatever it was, it was powerful

"No idea, but let's find out" she said, I nodded

We both focused our energy together and made a bubble, we pushed it towards the device and saw it was covered with a force field

"Yep, just as I thought, a force field" I said, I can get rid of this

I teleported myself into the field, I then shot my electricity up towards the middle of the force field and it broke in pieces

"Always works" I smirked, Tecton and Spark came over as we tried to figure out what was wrong with it, then I heard a noise behind us

I made an electric staff that glowed purple as I faced the noise, Claire and TJ

"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Three superheroes trying to destroy our fathers device" Claire said, god she's annoying

"What does this thing do, talk. Or we have other ways of making you talk" Spark said

"I think we won't talk, our friends will do it for us" Claire said, she snapped her fingers and tons of shadow clones appeared around us, surrounding us in a circle

"Give is our dad, and no one will get hurt" TJ bargained

"Sure, once you give us information, then will give him to you" Spark said, I gave her a signal by pointing my hand to the ground behind my back, telling her to contact the others

"Then I guess will be doing this the hard way, it's my favorite way" Claire smirked, the shadow clones moved in formation

"Claire, TJ, you don't want to do this. You don't have to be like your dad" I said, shocking shadow clones with the staff as Tecton tried to punch them, but your can't punch darkness, Spark had to help him out but using electricity on his punches

"I don't think you understand Phantom, we-" just as he was about to finish, something hit him and he went flying

"TJ!" Clarke yelled as she jumped after him, the shadow clones disappeared with them

Then Kaz and Fred were in the invisible ambulance, I chuckled

"Where are the others?" I asked, walking towards them

"Oh, um they were busy. So I came in the boo-boo car" Kaz said, I rolled my eyes

"Well, thanks for the save, let's head out. After I destroy this machine" I said, looking back at the machine

I walked towards the machine, I looked at the watch on my wrist and pressed a button

The button made all the machine's power come to my watch, it was dark power, it looked like the stuff Shadow Clones were made off, but darker

It took a lot of force until it was completely in the watch, but it finally finished, and the machine broke into pieces

"Alrighty, let's get going" I said, then we took off back to Mighty Med

We got back and I put the dark power in a containment jar and gave it to some of the hospital scientist to study

"Well, I have to get going. It's a friend of mines birthday and I'd hate to miss it. Bye" I waved bye to Kaz and Oliver, I hugged Skylar bye

I went through the door and super sped back to my house, after I changed out of my superhero suit

I went down to the lab and Leo was working the simulator Davenport told him not to mess with, oh boy

Then Chase, Bree and Adam went into the simulator, they must not have noticed I was here, I sat in the chair and watched as Davenport put himself into the simulator

"Wait, you want in on this?" He asked, holding an extra pair of goggles

"Uh, yeah!" I exclaimed, jumping up from my seat and put in the goggles, I was fully dressed in a ninja outfit, awesome!

Me and Davenport spin kicked over to Leo and challenged him, this is gonna be fun

"Oh, you want some of this. Welcome to Dia De Leo!" He exclaimed trying to punch Davenport

I used my wrist and held it up, blocking his first two punches and I caught his wrist, pushing him to the ground

Chase flipped over to us and Davenport took care of him, I stood, waiting in Leo

Leo got up to punch us but I easily caught his wrist

"I don't understand! These rebels are programmed with more sophisticated moves than I've ever seen!" Chase exclaimed, in slight shock

Davenport threw Chase and I pushed away Leo and he fell to the ground

"Hey, it's not cool to make me lose on Dia De Leo!" Leo complained

"Yeah? And it's not cool-" Davenport took off the masks revealing his face "to steal someone's cyber key"

"Oh, man, you were suppose to be good-looking" Davenport looked at her in shock "I mean, no offense. Maybe this one is good-looking" Bree said looking towards me, I pulled off my mask and she looked completely shocked

"Leo, I told you to stay out of the simulator. You're not prepared for it" Davenport lectured

"Big D, watch out!" Leo said as a rebel ran over to us, Leo kicked him in the gut and he flew back

"Or maybe you are. That was great, Leo! Awesome!" He said as they high fived

"So does that mean I get to use the simulator whenever I want?" Leo pushed, I rolled my eyes

"No! That just means I have to crank up the difficulty about 100% To make it challenging for these guys--who are in big trouble" Davenport said

"We're sorry we took your cyber key. We had to make it up to Leo for messing up his birthday" Chase explained

"And Big D, if you would have given them a party of their own, they may not have had to hijack mine" Leo said, I nodded in agreement

"I got it. Birthday's matter"

"You should know--you've had enough of 'em" Chase said, I snickered "What are you like, fifty?"

"I'm thirty-eight" he said, wait really? I thought he was at least in his forties

"No seriously" Chase said

"Ha ha" Davenport said, clearly annoyed "Okay, who's up for some kick-boxing on mars?"

We all chanted in agreement

"See, this is what birthdays are about--kickin' butt as a family" Leo said

"Come here. It's time for a hug" everyone brought in for a hug

Claire and Tj coughed as they got up from the ground, they both had managed to surround themselves in shadow clones before they crashed to the ground

"Phantom is gonna pay, I'll make sure of that" Tj coughed

"Let's get going, we have an important meeting with a curtain villain" Clair said, they nodded to each other and disappeared out of thin air

But one question still remained

Who is the villain?
